Confusion was quickly abandoned by Yan Luo, who took a deep breath and looked ahead.

The checkpoint was equipped with nurous caras, and Yan Luo had to find a way to avoid them and bypass the checkpoint.

At the sa ti, he couldn’t appear in front of anyone.

Because many personal terminals ca with caras, appearing in front of anyone would an exposure to the vast surveillance network, allowing the AI overseeing the entire internet to recognize him imdiately and alert the police.

Yan Luo might be able to handle the police at Crimson No.2, but he wasn’t a match for the entire Blue Star police system.

In modern society, completely avoiding surveillance is impossible. Yan Luo could only try to evade as much as possible, and if that didn’t work, he’d have to flee into the wilderness or head towards the Elf World.

Yan Luo tiptoed away from the exit, every step needing extre caution, constantly checking for any caras.

Just getting out of the checkpoint left Yan Luo drenched in sweat.

Luckily, after leaving the checkpoint, the caras were not as dense.

After leaving the checkpoint, Yan Luo thought for a while and quietly headed towards Sasa’s dormitory.

There were only a few people he could trust, and Sasa was one of them, possibly the least likely to betray him.

Sasa wanted to utilize his physique to research more things, which forged an incredibly strong bond between them.

Although there were many caras around Sasa’s place and likely so tailing him, Yan Luo’s perception skills were now strong enough to avoid those caras and trackers entirely.

He sneaked all the way to the scholars’ dormitory building at Lingquan University, avoiding over a dozen caras and hundreds of passersby, finally reaching the building.

He then stayed there, motionless, until the sun set, nightfall arrived, and the town’s lights gradually dimd. Yan Luo then moved, climbed up the dormitory’s outer wall to find Sasa’s room, and knocked on the window.

Sasa had just fallen asleep not long ago and heard a knocking on the window in a daze. She slowly opened her eyes and imdiately saw a shadow outside the window, waking up instantly in fright, scooting to the edge of the bed, nearly falling off.

It was a town, after all, with no mutated creatures invading, and demons couldn’t exit the Abyss; therefore, what’s outside her window could only be a drone or...

Suddenly, Sasa blinked, retrieved her personal terminal from the bedside table, remotely controlled the curtains, and shut down the terminal in advance.

"Yan Luo!"

Seeing the figure outside, Sasa gasped softly.

Her precaution to shut down the terminal was correct; if it was indeed Yan Luo outside, the terminal’s cara would capture him, allowing the internet-supervising AI to detect his presence, and the police would know he’s here.

Sasa crawled towards the window, gestured for Yan Luo to move down, and he understood, climbing down a bit.

Sasa manually opened the window, and Yan Luo crawled in through it.

After climbing into Sasa’s room, Yan Luo supported himself on the windowsill with both hands, leapt over the bed, and landed on the floor beside it.

Sasa closed the window, turned to Yan Luo, and softly asked, "Why are you here? Where have you been these past two days?"

Yan Luo raised an eyebrow, "It has only been two days on Blue Star? I went to the world of the elves."

Sasa’s eyes widened instantly, her breath unconsciously held.

She almost scread but managed to control her emotions quite well.

She took a couple of deep breaths to calm her excitent, then suppressed her voice to inquire eagerly from Yan Luo, "You went there? What’s it like over there? Did you see any of the creatures there? How’s the environnt?"

Perhaps due to her excitent, Sasa’s speech was sowhat incoherent.

Patiently, Yan Luo explained, "I don’t know what the elves call that place. When I got there, I encountered two elves one after another. They’re sisters. Later, when I t the older sister, we briefly exchanged blows. Realizing she wasn’t my match, she gave up fighting. After that, we exchanged languages and learned a bit of each other’s tongue."

Yan Luo then stumbled through a few sentences, which Sasa couldn’t understand at all.

Precisely because she couldn’t understand, Sasa grew even more excited.

Yan Luo wasn’t the type to lie, especially with no reason to deceive her about such matters. So, he must have ventured into the elves’ world and learned so of their language from one of them.

Having showcased what he learned, Yan Luo spoke about the environnt in the Elf World.

"The magic power concentration over there is quite high. Animals don’t dissipate like demons upon death, leaving bodies behind. Even these remnants can provide with substantial magic power."

Yan Luo couldn’t discern whether his teleportation destination was the Abyss or the elves’ ho world. If it was the Abyss, things seed odd, but if it was the elves’ world, powerful doomsday-level creatures should exist in such high magic power density.

Yet, Julia and Suniya seed to be living quite well.

Having spoken about the environnt, Yan Luo turned to the elven civilization.

Their civilization’s high-end strength might be decent, but overall, the level seems low. At least in manufacturing, without considering engraving tools, they lag behind Blue Star.

With her terminal shut off, Sasa grabbed a pen and paper, manually jotting down what Yan Luo narrated.

These were first-hand references on the Elven World; potentially she could beco the foremost expert on it in Blue Star’s scientific community.

Collaborating with Yan Luo was, to Sasa, the most valuable endeavor of her life so far. Without his help, she wouldn’t acquire so much firsthand data.

After covering the elves’ civilization, Yan Luo delved into the elves’ powers.

"Julia and Suniya’s abilities are not reliant on engravings—at least, I haven’t seen them trigger engravings during fights. Plus, having lent the magic power ter to Julia briefly, I noticed her magic power wasn’t an integer."

For an engraver, magic power only resolves in integers since their limits are engraving-provided, easily kept near the intoxication threshold.

Lower magic adaptability results in smaller excess capacity, whereas higher adaptability yields larger excess capacity, all designed to prevent magic intoxication symptoms.

Julia’s situation suggested that the elves’ extraordinary system might not involve engravings.

Record, record, quickly record!

Sasa’s pen moved swiftly, inscribing what Yan Luo relayed in her almost illegible handwriting only she could recognize.

Unfortunately, she seldom wrote manually.

After narrating his experiences over half an hour, Yan Luo finished recapping his venture into the Elf World.

Sasa looked down, using the lamp’s light to view her pages of notes, hugged her filled notebook blissfully, and flopped onto the bed.

"Go take a shower first. You’ll stay with these days; I’ll bring you food and clothes."

In acknowledgnt, Yan Luo nodded, stood up, and moved towards the bathroom.

Despite the impending cohabitation in the sa room with Yan Luo, Sasa’s mind held no romantic notions.

Her head was brimming with information about the Elf World, itching to see it, to gather its world data firsthand.

Fortunately, Sasa realized her own limitations—that her weakness ant Yan Luo would need to divert attention to protect her were she to venture there, so she shelved the idea for a future opportunity.

Even if she couldn’t personally visit, Yan Luo could take asurent devices over and help collect Elf World data, like air composition and magic power concentration.

If possible, she hoped Yan Luo could ascertain the differences between Elf World animals and demons.

Her head felt close to boiling!

A whole new, untouched world awaited, and she couldn’t embark personally... What a pity! It was truly vexing!

In Sasa’s mind, it felt like a fox’s tail was sweeping back and forth, agitating her to lift her legs and kick into the air, biting the blanket tightly to stifle her voice.

After a while, Sasa cald down, covered her head with the blanket, and drifted off to sleep.

Anyway, there’s no point in being anxious, so calm she remained.
