When Bai Yan saw this pile of sludge, he finally understood what the so-called Sain Beast really was, and what this mother body was.
In reality, the Sain Beast was not actually a Sain Beast, nor was the mother body truly a mother body.
It was just an ordinary Soft Mud Monster.
Soft Mud Monsters are a type of creature found in many worlds. The Endless Star Sea is so vast that naturally, there are Soft Mud Monsters there too.
The way Soft Mud Monsters absorb energy and reproduce by splitting is quite common, because living at the bottom of the food chain, Soft Mud Monsters rarely have the opportunity to absorb large amounts of energy to reproduce.
The reason this species has managed to propagate is precisely because they require very little energy.
This mother body received an inheritance and gained abilities from it, forming a miraculous spatial barrier around its body that could absorb all attacks and convert them into energy, thus mutating to this extent.
The size and shape of the Sain Beast is rely a new Soft Mud Monster cobbled together from so of the most terrifying creatures the Soft Mud Monster has ever seen in its lifeti.
This Soft Mud Monster was granted a large amount of energy, but stripped of its ability to further split.
So, despite their powerful strength, no one could trace back to their origins.
It's worth ntioning that Soft Mud Monsters do not have vocal organs and cannot roar. The roar of the mother body that Bai Yan heard earlier was actually simulated by vibrating the air after its ntal power was greatly enhanced.
At this mont, after Bai Yan picked up the Red Gem where the inheritance was, this Soft Mud Monster weakened accordingly.
However, it was still not dead. Having absorbed the inheritance energy for so long and learned the ability to create spatial barriers, this Soft Mud Monster was no longer an ordinary Soft Mud Monster.
It was a Mutant Mud Monster!
Although Bai Yan felt sowhat speechless, he believed the Mutant Mud Monster still had so usefulness. Therefore, he did not directly kill it but chose to seal it and prepare to bring it back to Demon Island for the scientists to study.
He hoped they could figure out sothing useful, as reverse engineering is often easier than forward research.
After Bai Yan collected the Mutant Mud Monster, the terrifying aura of All Things Kill that swept through the heavens and the earth gradually faded away, but the shattered space could not heal itself.
In Bai Yan's view, this space was peculiar because it lacked the self-repairing ability of ordinary spaces.
However, this was not Bai Yan's concern. He shifted his thoughts and after teleporting a few tis, he arrived at the Space Gate and returned to Fiery Sun Star.
According to his estimations, the Space Gate could only exist for one day. Bai Yan wasn't sure if the ti flow between the two spaces differed, so returning to Fiery Sun Star was the safer option.
Upon returning to Fiery Sun Star, Bai Yan first made a trip to Demon Island, where he handed over the Mutant Mud Monster to the Research Departnt's scientists and gathered all the Demon Servants who were not occupied with urgent matters, teleporting them to Fiery Sun Star.
After Bai Yan subdued the Mutant Mud Monster, the corpses of the Sain Beasts on Fiery Sun Star did not disappear. These were the sources of Bai Yan's Demon energy, and he couldn't just give them up.
Twenty thousand Demon Warriors were nowhere near enough to handle this task; these were billions of Sain Beasts!
This was why Bai Yan summoned the ordinary Demon Servants to join in the sacrificial work.
Once everything was arranged, Bai Yan finally had ti to study the new inheritance.
It was still a Red Gem. Bai Yan had absorbed past life inheritances many tis before, so absorbing this one was second nature.
After a special energy surged through the Red Gem, it transford into a red light that penetrated Bai Yan's forehead.
The inheritance information entered Bai Yan's Sea of Consciousness, and the thod of creating the mutant Soft Mud Monster's spatial barrier was vividly imprinted in his mind.
Moreover, this inheritance also involved a thod of constructing one's own space, although this ability was incomplete, which is why the Mutant Mud Monster only comprehended a small part and could only create a rudintary space devoid of its essence.
Simultaneously, the inheritance indicated the location of another inheritance. By combining the information from that inheritance with this one, Bai Yan could gain the ability to create a space of his own, or even reconstruct a world.
Bai Yan's eyes burned with passion; he understood the imnse difficulty of creating an entirely new world. His past disciple, now known as Emperor Su, Su Yu, was the founder of the Human World.
Aside from him, no one else dared to claim the creation of a world.
Entities like the Divine Kingdom are rely small planes attached to the Main World and cannot compare to true worlds like the Human World.
This was the unique capability of a Great Emperor!
Naturally, Bai Yan was envious, but he wasn't quite sure how to reach the realm where this other inheritance was located. After resolving current matters, he would have to inquire with others.
For instance, a visit to the Martial Saint Pavilion or Purple Cliff Mountain was inevitable, providing an opportunity to ask these two factions and possibly request a Star Map of the Endless Star Sea.
As he pondered his next steps, Bai Yan began practicing creating spatial barriers around his body.
With his understanding of space, this wasn't exceptionally difficult.
Initially, Bai Yan wasn't able to perfect his practice. The first ti, he only managed to form a patch of space that covered his palm, with a strength capable of withstanding a peak-level Legendary attack.
This level of strength was certainly inadequate, but Bai Yan had no quick thods. The inheritance ntioned that mastering this ability required persistent daily practice.
It was estimated that the Mutant Mud Monster had utilized its long lifespan to develop such a barrier around its massive body that could nearly withstand a Supre Realm attack.
Fortunately, this was Bai Yan's inheritance, and his spatial control was decent. After just about ten tries, Bai Yan was able to generate a spatial barrier encompassing every part of his body.
This spatial barrier was strong enough to withstand a full-power strike from the peak of the Saint Realm and could even resist ordinary attacks from the Supre Realm.
Of course, if the attack's intensity was too high, the space would still be shattered.
But before the space broke, Bai Yan would not suffer any harm and could convert all the attacks into energy to restore himself—it's a capability that could dominate in group battles.
Unconsciously, Bai Yan's strength was growing, but so were his adversaries.
Because, at this mont on Fiery Sun Star, another Supre Realm being had arrived!
