"Yes, I was about to travel to et with the Elves when I was ambushed at the border—don’t talk, rest well for a while," Nina said.

Nina knew that his Life Force was ebbing away and quickly closed her eyes to rest urgently.
Suddenly, the cover at the cave entrance was pulled away.
Two n dressed in lavish war robes appeared.
Seeing Nina, they exclaid with joy, "Your Highness, you’re here!"
They started to approach, but she halted them.
"Stop!" Nina shouted.
"We’ve co to protect you, Your Highness!" one of them quickly said.
Nina’s face was cold as she warned them, "If you are Royal search troops, stand guard outside the cave now and let no one enter—"
"This is an order!"
The two n exchanged glances, visibly hesitant.
Suddenly, one of them shouted, "Kill her!"
"Go!"
The two were about to act when two bronze arms erged from the Void, covering their eyes.
The next instant.
"Woof!"
Amidst a high-pitched bark, two figures turned into ice sculptures.
A bone dog appeared amongst the ground fog, looking disdainfully at the two n for a mont before disappearing back into it.
"They were bad people indeed," Nina said, pale-faced.
She gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and continued to recover her Soul Power.
Ti slowly passed.
Finally, she opened her eyes again, held Wu Xiaode’s hands, and whispered, "Let see what can heal the wounds on his body."
This ti, a faint ripple of Power flowed from her hands into the ring.
The Holy Treasure Ring trembled.
A white fruit emitting a chill fell into her hand.
"The Frost Snow Fruit."
"A rare collectible of the Black Dragon."
"Consuming this fruit can heal all injuries within ten minutes and restore a certain amount of physical and spiritual power."
"Note: The flesh of the fruit must be consud entirely."
Wu Xiaode said, "Nina, I need to eat this fruit. Not a single bit of the flesh can be left behind."
Seeing he was on the verge of death, Nina didn’t even waste words, she quickly began to peel the fruit.
"Co!"
She held the fruit up to Wu Xiaode’s face.
At this mont, more voices could be heard from outside, along with fluctuations of Magic and the sounds of weapons clashing.
Nina’s face turned pale, but she didn’t look outside, focusing only on feeding Wu Xiaode the fruit piece by piece.
Suddenly.
A man wearing a crown crawled into the cave.
"Nina!" he yelled with joy.
"Father!" Nina also called out with delight.
The man extended his arms, about to embrace her.
"Stop! Stay there! Don’t co any closer!" Nina hastily said, waving her hand.
The man stopped in his tracks.
Nina regained her composure and stated, "There are many ways to mimic my father’s appearance. If you are truly my father, then stay there and don’t move."
"Alright, I won’t move. What then?" the man asked with a smile.
So vigilant?
His daughter had grown up—he was truly comforted!
"Wait for him to finish eating," Nina said.
The man was taken aback and looked towards Nina’s side.
He saw a young man lying beside Nina, his mouth open, eating.
Eating...
The man looked back at Nina again.
Nina continued to break apart the fruit, feeding pieces into Wu Xiaode’s mouth.
"Eat slowly, don’t choke," she warned while feeding him carefully.
"Mhm," Wu Xiaode murmured unclearly in response.
The man was stunned.
His daughter... Had she grown up?
"Nina—"
The man composed himself, about to speak.
"Stop! If you are my father, wait until I have finished feeding him before you speak," Nina said vigilantly.
The man opened his mouth but found he couldn’t say a word.
He simply stood still, quietly watching Wu Xiaode.
This young man... who was he?
