L Chapter 8: Stunning Transformation

[I don’t agree with such a label but in layman’s terms... yes]
Lin Mu decided to take the systems words to heart, The ability might sound weak but when used in the right situation he knew that it would be an extrely valuable asset.
Lin Mu jumped up lightly a few tis to first warm himself up, jumping slightly from left to right as if getting ready for a boxing match. " Okay am finally ready" he said before jogging out the compound, When he reached the short gate, his eyes squinted, a brazen thought surfaced in his mind.
’ it seems dum but let’s try it, I’ve been itching to see just how far these strengthened legs of mine can reach in a single bound!’ He smiled, The instant he finished speaking, He flexed his right foot that had just landed on the ground, using it to push off once more with all the strength it could muster.
To Lin Mu’s amazent he found himself leaping 2 ter’s into the air, Directly surpassing the short gate that was only about 1.6 ters at most.
While mid air, He felt the wind rushing past him, Gently caressing his skin and filling his lungs with a wave of cool breeze. His figure leaped over the gate before landing on the other side with ease.
" That was aweso, I can’t believe I just did that!" Lin Mu was overco with joy, jumping up and down a few tis like an excited kid who just rode his bicycle for the first ti.
After completing such a feet, A vibrant smile that hadn’t appeared in ages made it’s way onto Lin Mu’s face, He felt ecstatic when recalling that this was only the beginning. If it was in the past, he could only dream of accomplishing such a feat, but now, He knew that he could accomplish far much more.
’ This is just the beginning, After getting a feel on the limits of the 5th stage of Body Refining, I can begin training once more and hopefully I’ll finally be able to make grandpa proud ’ Lin Mu clenched his fist with determination.
Not wasting any more ti, He jogged off into the distance, Even while jogging his speed couldn’t be compared to those of normal people, in the blink of any eye he had already covered several ter’s.
Lin Mu who was overco by joy was completely unaware of the several shocked gazes from a group of teenagers that watched from across the street as he jogged off into the distance, One of them in particular was a pink haired girl dressed in a black blouse and white jeans.
" Wasn’t that Lin Mu I saw just now?" One of the girls couldn’t believe her eyes.
" Don’t be delusional, That freak couldn’t even jump half a ter not to ntion jumping so much, You sure it wasn’t a criminal leaving the premises" One of the boy’s who not only saw it but didn’t want to believe it, retorted with frightened eyes.
The group of kids began murmuring amongst each other while voicing out their thoughts.
" Zhao lin what do you think?" One of the girls in the group asked the pink haired girl. The remainder of the group stopped murmuring, All eyes turning towards the pink haired girl to see what she had to say.
" What I think... is that we shouldn’t bother ourselves with sothing like this, Who around here doesn’t know that loser?, Do you think it’s possible for such a freak to suddenly grow wings and soar all of a sudden " Zhao lin scoffed, replying with a face filled with disdain.
Her word’s seed to have gotten the group, They felt that her words did have so sense to them.
There really wasn’t anyone around here who didn’t know how powerless Lin Mu was, Even they themselves had bullied him at so point in ti.
" You guys better forget this and let’s get going " she said before heading forward first, The group quickly followed after her.
’ There’s no way that loser Lin Mu could ever get an ability so late, I won’t believe it, There’s just no way ’ With her taking the lead, The other’s couldn’t see Zhao Lin’s annoyed expression. Unlike the others, she got a clear look as to who it was that had leaped over that gate, but she just didn’t want to believe that it was true.
The look of ease she saw on his face when he landed on the other side of the gate was what irked her the most, For the loser boy they had all despised to suddenly complete such feats was sothing she really didn’t want to believe was possible.
anwhile Lin Mu had already made it into the city....
His feet were pounding the pavent in a rhythmic beat while he jogged, Even till now he hadn’t been able to feel fatigued or showed signs of perspiration.
Instead his senses were heightened, and he could feel the world around him in a way he never had before, as if the world around him had beco far more vivid than before. The sun shone brighter, the birds sang sweeter, and the air was filled with a fresh, crisp scent.
At first it beca a problem for him to stay focused while jogging, but after crossing over a kiloter of distance, he found that his body was slowly adapting to the sudden change.
Although his clothes were shabby, His stunning features attracted so people’s eyes who began to stare as he passed by, Their eyes were mostly drawn to his chiseled features and broad shoulders.
Lin Mu’s transformation was nothing short of remarkable, Now he had the appearance of a handso young master from ancient dynasties, giving him a more mature look than his supposed 15 year old appearance.
Lin Mu who was running couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and confidence after having attracted so many envious gazes.
He had never felt so alive, so full of energy and vitality up until now.
