In a short span of time, the terrifying magma had already engulfed the entire Valley of the End. The once-flowing river had turned into dark red magma, boiling, swelling, and bursting with bubbling explosions.
Pillars of magma rose without any warning. The intense heat warped the air itself.
Even Sarutobi Hiruzen and the others didn't dare approach the battlefield at all. Only Hyūga Hiashi, relying on the layer of Tenseigan chakra cloak around his body, hovered in midair, barely avoiding the violently surging magma below.
"Lava Release…"
"If this were before I obtained this eye, your Lava Release might truly have posed quite a threat to me."
"And the ability to reshape the terrain in an instant is rather unfavorable for our Hyūga Clan."
Hiashi kept his eyes closed. The blood in his eye sockets had already dried, yet a faint trace of mockery lingered at the corners of his mouth—he was mocking Uchiha Keizumi for wasting chakra for nothing.
But how could Hiashi know? With the magma evaporating water and under the contract of water, Keizumi simply didn't lack chakra at all!
"Rumble—!"
Faced with Hiashi's mockery, Keizumi didn't say a word.
From beginning to end, his expression remained as still as an ancient well without ripples. Yet the sea of magma began to churn violently. As it roiled, massive figures wrapped in molten rock began to rise unsteadily.
In mere moments, dozens of magma giants stood up.
They didn't need to do much—just their existence alone shook everything around them, turning them into embodiments of pure destruction.
One after another, the magma giants reached out toward Hiashi.
They moved with an eerie liveliness—so lifelike that it seemed as if each one was acting under its own will, trying to drag the hovering Hiashi down into the magma.
In truth, these magma giants weren't lifeless constructs.
Under the power of Yin–Yang Release, they possessed basic instincts—one could even call them a special kind of creation.
Well… the same kind of special creation as Black Zetsu.
At this point, Black Zetsu had truly lost all prestige—especially after Keizumi mastered Yin–Yang Release. It was getting to the point where it could practically sit at the same table as the little trinkets Keizumi casually created.
Facing the outstretched hands of dozens of magma giants, even though they didn't use any ninjutsu, Hiashi still felt wary.
A vague premonition surfaced in his heart—or rather, the Tenseigan was giving him a warning.
If he were dragged into the magma, it would probably take only a few breaths before he himself became part of it.
"Perhaps just with Lava Release alone, Keizumi has already reached a level comparable to Grandpa…"
The one most shocked was Tsunade.
She had seen Keizumi fight before—whether in Tanzaku Town or in Konoha—but back then, he was nowhere near this level.
Without forming hand seals, Lava Release in Keizumi's hands was being used in ways that bordered on the absurd.
At this point, Tsunade even began to suspect that among the Nine-Tails' kin, even the Four-Tails might not match Keizumi in control over Lava Release.
"…Sigh."
Unlike Tsunade, the Third Hokage simply let out a deep sigh in his heart.
Shimura Danzō and Utatane Koharu always said he was indecisive.
They weren't indecisive—but they had both already gone ahead to reunite in the Pure Land.
Only he, the so-called indecisive one, was still alive.
"I think I can finally understand… how the other Kage felt when they lived in the same era as the First Hokage…"
As Hiruzen sighed inwardly, he found himself unexpectedly empathizing with the First Kage of the other villages.
To exist in the same era as someone like this—was that not a kind of tragedy for everyone else?
"Old man, if Uchiha Keizumi ever comes knocking at Mount Myōboku and turns it into a sea of magma…"
Shima and Fukasaku, the two toad sages, whispered among themselves.
This was their first time witnessing Keizumi's power firsthand—and frankly, he had frightened them.
Just his ability to reshape terrain instantly without hand seals was enough to make them wonder whether they might have offended him before.
As for Hiashi, the one actually facing Keizumi, his situation was anything but pleasant.
Even as he continuously increased his altitude—reaching nearly a thousand meters into the sky in mere moments—the dozens of magma giants began to merge together, forming an even larger magma behemoth!
It wasn't that Hiashi hadn't considered using the Tenseigan to destroy it.
But his control over the Tenseigan behind him was far from sufficient—he could barely even use the power of the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
And he could clearly see:
As long as the magma sea below didn't dry up, that magma behemoth would never collapse.
He had also tried attacking Keizumi directly.
He had already unleashed the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion at him—but Keizumi was surrounded by a layer of Susanoo.
The power of the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion was immense—enough for Hiashi to sweep through most of the shinobi world.
But Keizumi's Susanoo was formed from a true Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Not to mention, his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had already begun showing signs of evolving toward the Rinnegan.
To put it bluntly, in terms of ocular power alone, Keizumi's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Hiashi's borrowed Tenseigan power were evenly matched.
"Rotation!!!"
Blue light erupted from Hiashi's body.
Empowered by the Tenseigan, his Rotation underwent a complete transformation.
A massive pale-blue sphere rose around him.
In a matter of moments, Hiashi himself turned into a gigantic, constantly spinning sphere of blue light.
From afar, it looked as though a second pale-blue sun had appeared above the Valley of the End!
Yet this "sun" emitted no light or heat.
It simply spun endlessly in the sky.
As it rotated, the airflow grew chaotic, hurricanes howled, and the atmosphere itself seemed to boil.
Within dozens of kilometers, violent winds swept across the land.
Even though Hiruzen and the others had retreated far away, they still struggled to keep their footing under the impact of the Tenseigan-enhanced Rotation.
"The power of Rotation… can actually reach this level?"
Hiruzen stared at Hiashi in the sky, disbelief evident in his eyes.
It wasn't as if he had never seen the Hyūga Clan's Rotation before—Hiashi had fought on the battlefield, after all.
But now you're telling him… that this is Rotation?
