"Brother Sui Feng, where are you planning to stroll?" asked the Heavenly Venerate while steering the flying boat.
Xiao Jie stood at the stern, enjoying the scenery of the Immortal City around him, and casually replied, "I’m at your service, you lead the way. After all, I’m not very familiar with this Embers City."
"Haha, then I’ll take charge! Let’s head to the comrcial district for a walk!"
The flying boat skimd over the majestic buildings of Embers City, heading straight for the comrcial district.
In the sky, countless immortals traveled back and forth—so rode swords, their robes fluttering, so rode clouds and mist, exuding an ethereal spirit.
Others transford into immortal cranes and spirit birds, soaring gracefully. Various streams of light intertwined in the sky. This leaf-like flying boat was among them.
The layout of Embers City is quite unique. Since it’s inhabited by high-flying immortals, the entire city doesn’t resemble a flat mortal city, but rather forms a multi-layered structure intertwined in three dinsions.
The lowest level is the basic function area—warehouses, workshops, plantations; the middle level is the residential area, with pavilions and towers built upon the mountains, layer upon layer; the upper level is the residence and public areas of various Immortal Alliances, many buildings even float directly in the air, connected by rainbow bridges. The entire city is like a vertical immortal mountain, showcasing immortals’ techniques everywhere.
The comrcial district is located in the southeast corner of the city, occupying about one-fourth of the area.
The flying boat landed on the edge of the comrcial district. The two of them floated directly in the air, walking between the bustling streets.
Here, they took "three-dinsional" to the extre—hundreds of towers, floating islands, and cloud platforms were distributed in a staggered fashion, connected by radiant bridges. Shops are not limited to a ground floor, but are vertically distributed from ground to air: the lower level has ordinary stalls, the middle level has boutique shops, and the upper level consists of auction houses, trading centers, and other high-end venues. Countless immortals move freely between the levels, bustling and lively.
This place is several tis more popular than other areas. In other areas, you can see immortals coming and going, but mostly alone or in groups of three or five.
However, immortals here are in groups.
"Quite a crowd," Xiao Jie remarked pointedly.
"Naturally." The Heavenly Venerate smiled, "This Great Thousand Worlds has beco a wasteland of apocalypse, venturing out of the city is fraught with dangers.
