Xiao Jie’s spiritual sense gradually gathered in the void space of the "Inner World," once again cohering into a clear representation of himself.

He floated silently mid-air, overlooking the scene below. Compared to half a month ago when it was barren and desolate, only littered with piles of rocks in its primitive state, the dinsional space that now belonged to him had undergone a complete transformation.

To facilitate the long-term, systematic observation and experintation of these mysterious black liquids, Xiao Jie carried out an extensive renovation of the "Inner World."

He used Immortal Law to crush and reshape the initially scattered boulders, spreading out vast stretches of flat or undulating land.

He also absorbed and brought in large quantities of clear water sources from the outside, creating several lakes of varying sizes and the winding streams between them.

Further employing Immortal Law for "grass and wood proliferation," he accelerated the growth of vast expanses of lush flowers and dense, verdant forests.

Now the "Inner World" had transford into a small world just beginning to show signs of life. Although the overall area was still not large, with a diater of only a few dozen miles, it was complete with plains, hills, aquatic areas, forests, various basic terrains and landforms, forming a preliminary ecological system.

To ensure the experint’s safety and control, Xiao Jie used immortal power and rocks to further isolate and divide this area into dozens of closed zones, each independent and segregated by thick stone walls.

Although the black liquid was aggressively powerful, fortunately, they seed to have no subjective will. Their behavior was entirely instinctive, showing no reaction to isolation walls made of inorganic materials like rock and soil. Therefore, Xiao Jie used Immortal Law to create dozens of tireless, absolutely obedient Rock Puppets responsible for daily cleaning, maintenance, and the most critical task—safely transporting and isolating these dangerous black liquids according to instructions.

Hundreds of black liquid masses of different sizes were confined by Xiao Jie according to his experintal plan in different stone rooms or specific outdoor areas for observation and testing.

In the past half month, Xiao Jie entered this space daily, dedicating a great deal of effort to various experints on these black liquids. Now, the experints had achieved promising interim results, yet encountered critical bottlenecks.

Xiao Jie casually snapped his fingers, and a thick hardcover notebook and a steel pen appeared floating before him.

The notebook automatically opened, with clear and neat handwriting densely docunting nurous experintal records and observational insights:

[Experint Log Second Phase]

Date: Third day of observation.

Based on preliminary tests, no autonomous consciousness was found in the black liquid itself, and its behavioral patterns were closer to those of primitive single-cell organisms or so form of nascent collective consciousness, exhibiting a pure instinctive devouring desire for organic life forms.

After feeding and being devoured by demons transford snakes, wolves, and tigers on the first day, an astounding phenonon occurred the second ti I entered this space—so black liquids displayed an obvious ’mimicry phenonon’! They were no longer a mass of shapeless sli but spontaneously changed into the shapes of the creatures they had devoured, like snake forms, wolf forms, tiger forms...

Although these forms were lifelike when still, they would instantly revert to an unstructured black liquid tentacle form to strike during an attack.

However, I keenly noticed that outside attack mode, these black liquid mimics seed to vaguely inherit and display so basic behavioral habits of the devoured creatures. Thus, I boldly speculated: during the devouring of creatures, it is highly probable that these black liquids absorbed, analyzed, and integrated the genetic information of the organisms, and based on that, underwent directed gene expression and morphological transformation.

I decided to continue feeding mimics of different black liquids carefully and consistently with the sa species of beasts to observe the stability of their mimicry and the evolution of behavioral patterns to determine my hypothesis...

[Experint Log Third Phase]

Date: Fourth day of observation.

My hypothesis was initially proven successful! Mimics consistently fed with the sa species of beasts had their forms becoming more stable, with details becoming more intricate and progressively resembling the creatures they continued to devour. They even began exhibiting more complex behaviors such as predation and resting. I formally numbered fifteen individuals with the most stable and successful mimicry (numbers 1-15) as long-term observation samples. Other black liquid masses remained as fundantal experintal materials for future use...

[Experint Log Fourth Phase]

Date: Fifth day of observation.

Today, I used ’Enlightennt Technique’ on the number 5 (wolf mitic) and successfully got it recognized by the system with a blood bar and monster na [Black Spot (Mitic Beast)]. From this, it can be determined that untransford original black liquids are not recognized by the system as separate [entities] but regarded as "fragnts of Demon Star’s corpse."

I attempted to use ’Beast Taming Skill’ on the enlightened number 5, but the system prompt indicated "target wildness level too high, unable to ta." It appears necessary to find a way to lower their inherent wildness level or improve their favorability. Perhaps I can perform more frequent, varied conditions of enlightennt and taming attempts. Different individuals and feeding thods may yield different results...

[Experint Log Fifth Phase]

Date: Sixth day of observation.
