"But if you die in the ga, you have to die in the real world, isn't that too cruel for those soldiers?" Xiao Buli wasn't too surprised to hear the old financier's introduction. Among his original guesses, being a training system was one of them.
"It wasn't set up that way in the beginning. Characters who died in the ga would, of course, be demoted as punishnt. This was to make them cherish life and understand the cruelty of war, but they wouldn't actually die. All of this only happened after that great destruction, and as for the details, I have been trapped on the GM Island ever since, so I'm not very clear about them. "The Immortal Realm?" Xiao Buli repeated, the splendid images of the Immortal Realm coming to mind. The resemblance to the Immortal Realm envisioned by humans was uncanny, so even though Xiao Buli was amazed by its beauty at first, he wasn't surprised. What intrigued him more was what this Vast Wilderness Continent they were referring to was. Could it be so extraterrestrial beings' term for Earth? "Are you extraterrestrials?" he asked on this thought.
"Extraterrestrial? No, no, no, in our place, there are only differences between worlds; there's no such concept as 'extraterrestrials.' We are from the world of Tantajia, and besides ours there are..." the financier went on, absorbed in his explanations.
Xiao Buli scratched his head and decided to automatically ignore the incomprehensible nas, figuring that they might just be different terms for the sa thing. It would be too difficult to make him understand this, so it was better to skip the question altogether. Xiao Buli resolved to let him continue without interrupting his flow so he could understand as much as he could, then ask about anything unclear later.
