Upon entering, he saw Gu Yuexuan holding a Rune Sword, channeling Soul Fragnts into a physical body. For so reason, the Soul Fragnts seed reluctant, darting about, unwilling to enter. Looking up at the body, it was none other than Xuan Zhenzi—the very person Xuanxu Zi longed for day and night.
"How dare you, traitor, delve into the Demon Sect and study such sinister and unnatural Dharma thods! Today, I shall cleanse the sect of you." Although only the two of them were left in the secret chamber, Xuanxu Zi still didn't want to drop his Disguise, speaking with a righteous grandeur.
Gu Yuexuan seed utterly panicked when Xuanxu Zi barged in. The already troubled ritual now fell into complete disorder. In a flash, the Soul Fragnts scattered like leaves whirling in a hurricane, with several hiding in the walls and two slipping out the door.
Gu Yuexuan appeared to have suffered a heavy blow and exclaid in despair, "No, co back!" Clasping the Sword technique, he began to move, seemingly attempting to regain control of the Soul Fragnts. Xuanxu Zi wouldn't let him succeed; he launched a Palm Thunder at the body, blasting the flesh into oblivion. Then, with a reach of his hand, he sohow absorbed all the Soul Fragnts, squeezed them forcefully, emitting a piercing scream as they were all shattered.
"No!" As if all hope had been shredded, Gu Yuexuan let out a cry of despair, looking at Xuanxu Zi with an intensity of hatred and rage that was beyond words.
"Hmph, cleanse the sect? As if I don't know what you're scheming. Even at the cost of my life today, I won't let your vile plans succeed," Gu Yuexuan declared, clenching his Sword technique. A cold light shot towards Xuanxu Zi, but he reached up to catch it mid-air, freezing it in place.
Gu Yuexuan clenched his Sword technique again, and this ti his flying sword buzzed and danced in the air. Suddenly, it split into six swords. Gu Yuexuan had gathered seven flying swords, and usually, they combined into one, waiting for the critical mont when all seven would attack together. Now, they all headed towards Xuanxu Zi simultaneously.
"Hmph, I helped you get those swords, and you think they could harm ? What a delusion," scoffed Xuanxu Zi. With a flick of his horsetail whisk, it transford into a blinding light that trapped the flying swords. Though Gu Yuexuan controlled the swords in an attempt to break free, the light from the horsetail whisk was exceptionally resilient, and the swords could not cut through it.
