Xia Zuowei didn't have auditory hallucinations; that sigh indeed ca from Xiao Buli, who had watched Xia Zuowei's experiences in the ga from start to finish. Seeing that he logged off, Xiao Buli imdiately made a judgnt—this guy was as good as dead.

Although this guy's luck was really good, so good that it left Xiao Buli sowhat speechless.

A normal person, if unaware, would probably have died fighting a stray dog; yet this guy relied on his innate tree-climbing skill to dodge a disaster and even accidentally killed the stray dog.

Then, while trading blows with Scar-faced Li, he stepped over the threshold of the netherworld, but unexpectedly, even when on the verge of death, he sohow ca back to life and even acquired a hidden profession, though the profession seed really unreliable.

After that, he collected protection money and ca close to being killed several tis, yet he still managed to survive each ti.

But when Xiao Buli saw the conversation between Qin Dahai and Xia Zuowei, he imdiately concluded that no amount of good luck would save him this ti; he was dood.

The warrant out for Xia Zuowei's arrest reminded him of the ti Li Baocheng was wanted. Back then, it was because they could not take action within an organization that no players made a move against him, but this ti Xia Zuowei was not going to enjoy that kind of treatnt.

The reward for killing a wanted criminal was definitely substantial, as could be seen from the rewards offered for Li Baocheng back in the day. Qin Dahai's instruction for him to log off in the thatched hut was not without purpose; probably, as soon as this guy logged on tomorrow, he would face Qin Dahai's ambush.

Although Qin Dahai didn't seem particularly strong, dealing with a newbie like him wouldn't be stressful. Therefore, taking everything into account, Xiao Buli ca to this conclusion.

He didn't continue to think about it. Whether Xia Zuowei lived or died did not an much to him. The pressing matter at hand was to quickly wake up.

Xiao Buli had already checked; his body had not sustained significant damage, his breathing was steady, which ant he was still alive. The reason for his current state was likely not because of death but due to soul separation—this reminded him of Bai Yunfei's Soul Out Of Body.

Only, Bai Yunfei's was a voluntary exit, while his was involuntary, probably a side effect caused by consuming too much spiritual power while using Thunder Cloud Soaring Sky in his state of electrical embodint, leading to issues with the compatibility between the body and the Primordial Spirit, resulting in their separation after he hit the ground.

Back in his room, staring at himself lying on the bed, Xiao Buli silently pondered how he could wake up.

He first tried lying down, overlapping with his body, but it had no effect; his body was like a machine that had lost its power, unable to feel any energy.

Rising from the bed again, Xiao Buli, looking at his own body, fell into deep thought. What should he do? There was no precedent for this kind of situation.

While he was deep in concentration, whispers suddenly reached his ears in the pitch-black night.

"Look, that flesh body seems quite intact," a barely discernible voice said.

"Yes, yes, it's not easy to find such a complete flesh body," another voice concurred, sounding sowhat distant.

"But I feel that flesh body still has life in it," a third voice chid in.

"Life may linger, but the spirit is gone, most likely the soul has been scattered. It's the perfect ti for us to take possession and revive our souls. If you guys don't go, I will," the first voice added.

"Who!?" Xiao Buli abruptly turned to look behind and saw many blurry black shadows, each revealing only their upper half through the window.

The shadows were all pitch-black and transparent, casting long silhouettes in the moonlight, "Ghosts?" Xiao Buli was startled, but then he laughed a bit, thinking that he was a ghost himself now, so what was there to fear?

But then he felt sothing was amiss. Those 'shadows' seed not to see him, as if they didn't exist on the sa plane. He called out to them a couple of tis, but none of the ghostly spirits paid any attention to him.

A shadow drifted in through the window, akin to a paper figure in a shadow play, floating towards his body. Xiao Buli, in a panic, threw a punch, but his fist passed right through the shadow.

(How can this be? Am I neither living nor a ghostly spirit right now?) Xiao Buli genuinely did not understand the difference between the Primordial Spirit and a ghostly spirit, but with the situation being urgent, he had no ti to think further. He watched as the shadow rose into the air, falling towards his body in parallel.

Almost instinctively, he raised his hand and launched a Palm Thunder, only rembering after the motion that he was no longer in his body, and in soul form, he shouldn't be able to cast spells. Yet, with a crackle, a burst of lightning flashed, incredibly dazzling in the dark night.

The paper-like spirit body was instantly blown to pieces, spiraled in the air, then reconvened but appeared even more faint than before.

"Damn, that guy's a cultivator, run!" A shrill scream pierced through the air, and the ghostly shadows at the window disappeared in the blink of an eye. Xiao Buli was left standing there dumbfounded, thinking, could it be possible to cast spells while in a Soul Out Of Body state?

But then he noticed that his physical body was in a spell-casting pose, and that Palm Thunder had, in fact, originated from his corporeal hand.
