Tang Fei did not imdiately leave the Phoenix Palace but went to find Phoenix.

He took the familiar route to Phoenix Pavilion and, seeing the shimring Moon Gold Stone sign at the courtyard entrance, he felt surprisingly bewildered for a mont.

This was the residence of the Empire Princess, one of the most esteed individuals in the country; he could co and go freely and felt incredibly familiar with every blade of grass and tree here.

What was more shocking was that he was actually involved in major events that stirred the entire nation.

Moreover, things were developing towards an unpredictable realm as they had expected.

Was this sothing the naive young boy from Hate Mountain could achieve?

There was a ti when his greatest ambition was rely to catch a few more rabbits each day or bring back a three-headed sheep...

As for the wooden airplane he constantly tinkered with in his hands, flying to the sky could no longer be called an ambition, but a dream.

If it succeeded, could he ever enter Phoenix Pavilion again?

And if it failed, would he be able to walk into Phoenix Pavilion once more?

The sword was drawn, and the outco would soon be clear.

Tang Fei’s mood beca exceptionally heavy.

"Mr. Tang, please co in," said Qingming, the Phoenix’s maid, as she saw Tang Fei standing at the entrance lost in thought.

How co he hadn’t entered yet?

Princess was still inside waiting for him, knowing that Tang Fei was coming over, she had even run into the room to change her clothes...

You should know, today was her nstrual period, and she had been lounging at ho in her pajamas all day without stepping out.

"Oh, I was just thinking about so things," Tang Fei said with a smile.

Qingming pushed open the courtyard door only to see Phoenix, dressed in a cotton long skirt, waiting at the doorway.

In the moonlight, her complexion was three shades whiter than snow, as if emitting a rare cool-toned glow.

Her eyes curved, and a gentle smile adorned her face.

She was wholeheartedly looking at Tang Fei as he slowly approached, much like a delicate wife eagerly waiting for her busy husband to return ho.

Because of the sweltering weather, Phoenix’s long dress was a strappy style, appearing very cool.

Tang Fei couldn’t help but glance at her chest—hmm, there was sothing after all...

Compared to when he first t her and carried her back from Hate Mountain to apply dicine, there was a significant improvent.

"You’re here?" Phoenix asked softly.

"Yeah, just finished up so work, thought I’d co see you," Tang Fei replied with a smile.

He wanted to step forward and hold her hand or give her a simple hug, but noticed the hawk-eyed Court Etiquette Officer watching him closely.

Why hasn’t this woman left her job? Doesn’t she rest in the evening?

Does she think I’m so kind of thief ruining maidens in secret?

Looking down on , huh?

"Co on in," Phoenix also noting Tang Fei’s reservation, glanced at the Court Etiquette Officer and said, "Teacher Shang, you can go rest."

Shang Liang looked a bit distressed and said, "Your Highness, shall I stay with you a little longer?"

Just as Tang Fei arrived, the Princess wanted to send her off.

Zhong Yu Xiu Xue’s intentions were clear to everyone.

What if sothing indescribable happened between them? How could she bear the responsibility?

It seed like her head was about to explode.

"It’s okay, Qingming and the others are still around taking care," Phoenix said.

The implication was, with Qingming and the other young maids supervising nearby, what inappropriate things could possibly happen that were not suited for children?

"Alright...I’ll go rest for a bit then co back later to check on Your Highness," Shang Liang couldn’t openly defy the Princess, after all, she didn’t care who Phoenix was on good terms with.

It was just a matter of responsibility, she couldn’t afford to be careless.

"Thank you, Teacher Shang," Phoenix nodded in acknowledgnt.

Just wanting to check if she and Tang Fei were sleeping together later, she was not feeling well today and would definitely not be sleeping with Tang Fei...

However, cuddling was still okay.

As Shang Liang left, everyone felt much more relaxed.

After all, Shang Liang was the Court Etiquette Officer, where court protocols were cumberso and solemn; even if one could relax slightly at ho, one had to maintain a proper posture when standing or sitting...

But everyone just wanted to sprawl out.

"Are you hungry? Want to eat sothing?" Phoenix took the initiative to grasp Tang Fei’s hand and asked.

The four maids imdiately dispersed, each busying themselves with their tasks. They wouldn’t dare disturb the Princess’s romantic mont.

Should the romance between Phoenix and Tang Fei beco public, they would be implicated as well.

But, the Princess treated them so well, what was handling so risks for her?

"I’m not hungry, just a cup of green tea will do," Tang Fei held Phoenix’s small hand tightly, adoringly looking at her as he spoke.

Couples in love always can’t resist wanting to kiss, hug, and lift each other...

Of course, lifting mainly applied to n, won couldn’t manage it.

"Alright," Phoenix nodded and then called out, "Gu Yu, brew a pot of green tea."

Among Phoenix’s four personal attendants, Gu Yu had the best skills in tea making, so she was primarily responsible for brewing tea.

"Yes, Your Highness," Gu Yu responded and soon brought over a pot of Rembrance of the South River.

Phoenix asked Gu Yu to step back and personally served Tang Fei a cup of tea, asking, "Did you co from my father?"

"Yeah," Tang Fei nodded, saying, "I captured Qin Jianyi, and the King asked to explain the reason."

Phoenix looked up at Tang Fei with worried eyes, "I was just about to call you too, why did you capture Jian Yi again? Aren’t you putting the Qin Family in a tight spot?"
