On the way to the community, Qin Huai discreetly took out his phone to ssage Dong Shi, asking him to ensure that he finds out the truth by tomorrow.
It might have been the end of the workday at Huang Ji; Dong Shi replied almost instantly, promising to complete the task, assuring Qin Huai he’d hear the complete story first thing when he arrives at Huang Ji tomorrow.
He then casually asked if Qin Huai would be making breakfast tomorrow morning. If he was, Dong Shi would co early with an empty stomach.
It was apparent that ever since Qin Huai left Huang Ji, the employees there have been missing out on a precious breakfast.
Zheng Da escorted Qin Huai all the way to the community. Since Uncle Wang only short-rented a place in the community without buying a house, he temporarily lived with Qin Huai. Tan Wei’an and Zang Liang lived in the house purchased by Chen Huihong, while Zheng Siyuan lived in the house bought by Xu Tuqiang. Normally, Zheng Siyuan should go ho, but he felt his ho was too far from Huang Ji, requiring a long commute daily, so he chose to live in the community across from Huang Ji for convenience.
As for Shi Dadan, before setting off, he found a rental through an agent within the community, directly renting an apartnt right below Qin Huai, which was quite convenient.
Qin Huai could tell that Zheng Da really wanted to use the excuse of caring for his son to conveniently live with Zheng Siyuan, hinting several tis, but Zheng Siyuan completely ignored his father. Zheng Da could only leave heartbroken, cursing his ungrateful son a few tis in his mind.

But when Qin Huai woke up, it was already 8:30 AM the next day. Realizing he slept in again, he hurried to get up and saw Wang Gen Sheng and Shi Dadan in the living room.
Wang Gen Sheng was sitting at the dining table, wearing reading glasses, looking at the computer.

Having never been taken care of by grandparents (as Mr. Qin and Granny Qin lived in the countryside most of the ti), Qin Huai was stunned. Was this the legendary treatnt of being cared for by grandparents? Sleeping in wouldn’t be rushed or awakened; instead, soone would buy breakfast, pack it, and wait for you to eat.
"So... have Zheng Siyuan and the others arrived at Huang Ji?" Qin Huai, being too shocked, realized after asking that he had asked a silly question.
"Zheng Siyuan and Tan Wei’an have arrived. Zang Liang... When Old Wang and I returned from Huang Ji at 8, he hadn’t arrived yet. He should be there by now."

For the first ti, Qin Huai saw this expression on Wang Gen Sheng’s face. If Grandpa Qian and Xu Tuqiang had seen Wang Gen Sheng like this, they surely wouldn’t be spreading rumors about Wang Gen Sheng likely having dentia.
