Chapter 113: Disparity of Ti

Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales

With the level that Abel’s currently at, it would take 10 minutes for him to recharge his mana in the Rogue’s Encampnt. If he were in the magic tower right ti, this process would take much more ti.

As he continued to practice using magic, Abel beca more and more familiar with the ‘fireball’ spell. He started making fewer mistakes. If he made one type of mistake, He made sure that the sa wouldn’t happen in his next practice. This was why he was learning so fast.

Slowly and steadily, Abel kept using his mana to practice casting the “fireball” spell. After replenishing his mana for the twentieth ti, he was now 20% closer to casting the complete spell. Pretty soon, he would be able to cast his very first spell.

Abel noticed that his head was starting to hurt. He turned his head and looked at the hourglass on the ground. The hourglass should’ve taken ten hours to drain, but there was barely any sand on the top.

Ti flies, so they say. No wonder those wizard apprentices outside the magic tower can sit for months and years. Even when mana was so dense here, Abel would have to take so long to practice his very first spell.

Abel picked up his hourglass and returned to his room with his Scroll of Town Portal. He had placed another hourglass inside his bedroom, but that one showed that only half an hour had passed when the one at the Rogue’s Encampnt showed that 10 hours had passed.

Damn. Now Abel had twenty tis the amount of ti to learn than most people. Actually, his lifespan might decrease if he stayed in the Rogue’s Encampnt for too long. He wasn’t sure about that, but he would know after two years. Since he was still in his adolescence, he might just beco a fully grown adult the next ti he used the portal.

Anyways, this result had already made Abel very satisfied. Not only could he take advantage of the huge disparity of ti between the two realities, but he was also able to gain access to a huge source of mana. He had a whole world to just himself. Not a lot of people would have the sa opportunity.

Abel decided to go to the Rogue’s Encampnt for another night, which was the equivalent of ten days over there. He suddenly rembered that there seed to be no food in the Rogue’s Encampnt. He might have to go out of his room again.

“You’re finally out of your room, Abel!” Loraine called out as her eyes sparkled with happiness. While waiting for Abel to co, she had been playing with Black Wind this entire ti.

“I’m sorry, Loraine. I’m too busy these days. I don’t have a lot of ti to spend with you. I will send you ho when I beco a wizard.”

Originally, Abel’s plan was to send Loraine after he beca a knight commander. Yet, after witnessing what fifth-level apprentice wizard like Sam could do, he thought that becoming an official wizard was the least he needed to do to protect himself. The more he had understood this world, the more he knew how weak he truly was. Such a realization was what pushed him to keep up with his ditation and magic training.

“Don’t worry, Abel!” Loraine replied with a smile on her face, “I know the way ho is very, very long, so I will wait for you for as long as it takes!”

“I’ll wait for you for as long as it takes.” Abel felt kind of shy when he heard from Loraine. No, she was just an innocent little elf. She just ant that she would be waiting for him. She didn’t an anything other than that.

While Abel turned his head away, Lorain’s smile was becoming wider than ever, and her cheeks were reddening with bliss.

Abel called Ken to prepare him so preservable food. As for the drink, many red wines and fruit wines made with Horadric Cube, and were stored inside the portal bad as soon as they were produced. Ever since Abel could make his own fine wine, he had stopped drinking any other kinds of liquor.

After a while, Ken found so hard bread, biscuits, and so other food. It was almost enough for Abel to eat for ten days. Even a large bucket of milk was brought over. Abel didn’t say much about it. It was Ken’s way of being nice, after all.

After sorting out so matters with Ken, Abel returned to the room, locked the door, and threw all the food into the newly-acquired private storage box. He then traveled to the Rogue’s Encampnt with his To of Town Portal.

It was night ti when he arrived. The sky in the camp was dark. He didn’t know what was in the sky. Abel didn’t see the moon nor the stars. There were so faint sparks of light, however, so it wasn’t completely dark either.

Abel took out so wood and charcoal from the portal bag. These were originally ant for forging weapons, but with the inferno fla here, there really wasn’t a use for them. So, instead of using them to craft weapons, Abel made a small bonfire with them in the middle of the encampnt’s square. After he’s lit the fire, he sat beside it and began his ditation.

ditation training was only ant for once per day. This was the sa for everyone. That being said, if it was using ditation to replenish one’s mana, it could be done several tis over one day.

Abel didn’t want to waste the huge amount of ti he’s gained from coming over here. By using the two hourglasses, he could tell that ten days here in the Rogue’s Encampnt was the sa as 24 hours in the reality he ca from. After he’s figured out the ti disparity between the two realities, he was able to make a very packed and productive ti schedule for himself.

Because of how concentrated the mana here was, one ditation session here would be several tis more effective than at the magic tower.

This ant that if he had been practicing in the Rogue’s Encampnt, the progress he would make would be dozens of tis in the magic tower. Of course, he wasn’t going to stay in the Rogue’s Encampnt all the ti. He could, however, spend his ti in Rogue’s Encampnt occasionally to make a lot more progress than the other apprentice wizard.

So, with all the extra ti he got, Abel wasn’t going to waste a second of it. He wasn’t going to waste any chance for another ditation session.

After each one of his ditation sessions, Abel would resu practicing his “fireball” spell. He would swipe his finger in the air, and his mana would draw the “fireball” rune in the air. With every attempt that he was making, he would make a little more progress than the last ti.

Two days had passed since he had arrived. Oddly enough, the milk in his private storage box wasn’t going bad. In this world, milk did not have preservatives in them. Generally speaking, you’d have to drink it within a day that it ca out of the cow’s udder.

Perhaps the private storage box could do the sa as the Horadric Cube. Whatever’s in it would be immune to the flow of ti.

Abel took out a burning piece of wood from the fire, put it out, and threw it into the private storage box. After practicing the “fireball” spell several tis, he took out the wood from the box again. Just as he thought, the fire did not completely fade away. It was burning just as strong as when he was just about to put it in the storage box.

What a huge discovery this was. Every ti that Abel wanted to craft an exploding big sword, he would have to put the finished product inside his Horadric Cube. Because of this, he would lose the opportunity to use the Horadric Cube to synthesize sothing else. If he could find a place to dump the exploding big sword, he would have to keep it inside the Cube for as long as it would take.

Make no mistake, and the exploding big sword was great for attacking. Its upgraded version, the super exploding big sword, was Abel’s ultimate tool to launch a suicide attack against this enemy. Now, with the private storage box, it could be stored for a long ti, which was also a good way to strengthen Abel’s offensive capabilities.

After spending days practicing the “fireball” spells and replenishing his mana with his ditation techniques, Abel was feeling very ntally strained. Also, he wasn’t used to not forging weapons for such a long period of ti.

Abel stood up and walked to the blacksmith stand. He looked at the anvil and the huge hamr on it. His fingers shook as he’s found the passion for beginning his craft. Abel was here to learn how to make magic, yes, but his heart was telling him to forge so weapons as well.

After throwing a piece of iron ore he’s found in the blacksmith shop, Abel began his first forge in the Rogue’s Encampnt.

The inferno was much hotter than Abel imagined it to be. In a very short period of ti, the piece of iron ore was softened, and if Abel hadn’t taken it out in ti, it would’ve just lted and fallen into the fla.

The hamr Charsi used was about 100 pounds in weight. As Abel held it in his hand, he tried to reimagine what it would be like for her to make a weapon.
