[Donald’s perspective]

As soon as I heard, I perked up and gestured for Benjamin to hand over the item for to examine.

"Although it’s only a small piece, it’s still recognizable as a silk handkerchief or sothing of the sort used by a woman," I said after carefully inspecting it.

Upon hearing this, Benjamin’s face brightened with excitent as he eagerly pressed on, "Is this sothing the Lycan Queen would use? What was she wearing the day she was captured by Henry? Did she have this handkerchief with her?"

I shook my head, directly dismissing Benjamin’s guess, "If it were truly Margaret’s, how could I not recognize it? It’s probably just sothing the enemy left behind by accident. Let’s keep looking!"

My words were like a bucket of cold water poured directly over Benjamin’s head. He sighed, squatted down, and continued to search the ground, while I looked up sowhat painfully, feeling the anxiety in my heart threatening to engulf .

After nearly 5 more minutes, we had touched every inch of ground in front of the Stone Gate, but still hadn’t found the chanism to open it!

I knew that I absolutely could not show any sign of discouragent or restlessness at this ti, and I continued to suppress the agitation in my heart as I observed the patterns on the Stone Gate.

Suddenly, I noticed that the Stone Gate seed to tremble. Holding my breath, I turned to Christian beside and asked, "Did you see the Stone Gate move?"

Christian swallowed hard and nodded, confirming my suspicion.

I imdiately ordered the flashlight turned off and for everyone to retract 5 ters, to stay alert, and to shoot to kill at the first sign of the enemy!

Surprisingly, the Stone Gate began to open from the right side. I was taken aback, wondering about the chanism behind it and what kind of force could move such a heavy stone?

It seed that since arriving at the Lilo Sea, many things happening around couldn’t be explained by science, like the sudden opening of the Stone Gate or the formation of this massive natural cavern.

But soon, the sound of intense gunfire from behind the Stone Gate snapped my drifting attention back to the present.

Looking intently ahead, the first thing I saw was Anthony with a few Lycans, bloodied, taking cover at the entrance of the Stone Gate, with Austin, his face grim, wielding a submachine gun and relentlessly chasing after them.

"Provide covering fire! Get Anthony back here!" I barked without hesitation, my gun aid directly at Austin’s heart.

I fired three shots at Austin in one breath. Two bullets hit him!

Austin, wounded, yelped in pain and quickly retreated into the Stone Gate, shouting sothing loudly, and the gunfire stopped abruptly after half a minute.

Elliot quickly dragged Anthony and the few Lycans back from the entrance of the Stone Gate, while Benjamin rushed over with the dical kit. After confirming that Austin and his n had ceased firing, I stepped forward to assess Anthony’s condition.

He had been shot in the left leg, the bullet lodged in the bone and temporarily inextractable. The upper half of his body was covered in soone else’s blood, his face so pale it was frightening, "How did you encounter Austin inside? Did you see anyone else after you entered? Is Margaret there?"

As I spoke, I realized I was asking too much and raised my hand to grasp Anthony’s shoulder, urgently reassuring him, "Don’t worry! We’ve got Benjamin and the team; you and the other Lycans will be okay! Just take a mont to collect yourself, then report back what happened from this morning until just now."

With my steady comfort, Anthony gradually cald down, panting heavily and speaking hoarsely, "Margaret is inside! She’s about to be taken by Henry on a yacht through an underwater passage. Your Majesty, you must rush in and stop Henry!"

"Cough cough cough! I’m fine, Your Majesty, it’s just a minor wound! The soldiers under Austin’s command aren’t many, and they’re definitely no match for the assault team Lycans. You can charge in now and save her!" Anthony said, coughing up a mouthful of fresh blood, which contradicted his claim of being unhard.

Seeing his condition, I looked at him with concern, and Benjamin, who was busy treating his wound, urgently reported as well, "Anthony’s gunshot wound to the leg isn’t fatal, Your Majesty, you can rest assured!"

Relieved, I nodded slightly, then looked at Elliot and Christian beside , "Benjamin, take care of Anthony and the injured Lycan team mbers! Assault team to take the lead! Personal guard force to cover in rescuing the Lycan Queen, everyone, move out!"

I took the lead and charged out after giving the command, while Austin, sensing sothing was amiss, had already fled with his n through the Stone Gate.

I narrowed my eyes intently, watching his figure disappear around the corner of the stone tunnel, quickening my pace, and fired two shots in that direction, roaring, "Austin! Stop! You know there’s no way you’re getting out of this today, and you’re going to be the next ’Levi’!"

"You’re just Henry’s expendable flag! Since you’re going to die sooner or later anyway, you might as well surrender now. If you do, I might consider our past friendship and let you keep an intact body!"
