[Margaret’s Perspective]

The floor of the corridor was covered with my blood as Levi followed closely behind us, silently pondering over sothing unknown.

Just as Simo pushed open the pharmacy door anxiously waiting for to enter, I suddenly stopped, glanced sideways at Levi with a cold look, and said in a tone devoid of any warmth, "Stay away from . Don’t let see you again."

After I spoke, I entered, leaving Levi and Simo frozen in place.

"Master Levi, the patient’s mood is very stable now. To prevent the recurrence of what just happened, I suggest you wait at the door for a while, alright?" Simo tentatively suggested, his gaze filled with sincerity as he looked at Levi.

Levi was silent for a few seconds and didn’t verbally respond to Simo’s suggestion. He just turned and stood rigidly in place, neither leaving nor advancing further.

Seeing this, Simo heaved a sigh of relief, bowed to Levi, and then turned to walk into the room.

At that mont, a hint of regret flashed across Levi’s face, but since no one in the corridor dared to look at him, this curious sight went unnoticed.

Inside the pharmacy, the "female nurse" gripped my wrist tightly while Simo deftly disinfected and attempted to stitch up the wound.

"Why are you so impulsive? What would you do if you really pierced your hand? Don’t you want this hand anymore?"

Listening to the "female nurse" lower her voice to ask , I bore the pain and glanced at her, then after a mont of silence, I bluntly said, "Your willingness to co see at the hospital, does it an there’s a shift in your loyalties again? Are you planning to help Donald or help Henry? If you don’t clarify these things, it’s difficult for to trust you again!"

At my words, she pulled off the mask on her face, revealing the familiar face I knew.

Licia was overwheld, seemingly unable to bear watching Simo stitch the center of my palm, she turned her head, lowered her voice, and replied, "I know my trustworthiness is very low among you, but what other choice do you have now except to cooperate with ? Henry won’t let you off easily; escaping from here is harder than reaching the heavens!"

"I know that myself, no need to dampen my spirit," I said as I shivered, the hidden pain in my abdon and the piercing pain in the palm threatening to break down completely.

Simo pressed down on my hand and said sternly, "Don’t move! If the stitching goes crooked, it’s really the end!"

Battling the cold sweat on my forehead, I looked at him and sarcastically said, "Your master hasn’t made his stance clear yet, and here you are working so diligently!"

"Margaret!"

Licia called out my na softly, I closed my mouth and shifted my gaze back to her, silently waiting for her to continue.

Seeing this, she sighed, her eyes slightly moist as she looked into mine, "Donald and his group arrived on the island yesterday, but because it’ll take so ti for the main forces to follow, they didn’t initiate the battle imdiately!"

"I inford him that you were here. He wanted to co directly and take you away, but I knew Henry had set nurous traps here. With just him and those few n with him, it would have been impossible to break through! That’s why I ca to act as the vanguard for him."

The critical information in Licia’s words sowhat dazed . I took a deep breath to compose myself and hoarsely asked, "What do you need to do to coordinate with you? How many people does he have with him now? Levi said Henry searched all night and couldn’t find them; where are they hiding? I hope this ti you’re truly trying to help Donald and not planning to betray him again!"

Licia’s eyes turned sad upon hearing this, after a mont she counterquestioned rather than answered, "How is the baby in your stomach? Simo told yesterday the situation was unstable, you need to return to a hospital on land for recuperation."

"You can’t even be firm in your love for Donald, do you really care about this unborn grandchild? Please answer my question directly, ti is pressing, and I don’t want to waste words with you!"

As I spoke, I glanced sideways toward the door. The blood loss was making my head feel dizzy, but I was struggling to stay alert. Licia’s attitude was crucial at this mont, concerning , the child in my abdon, and all of Donald’s future plans.

My concern proved necessary. Licia didn’t seem to want to abandon protecting Henry and his group. She hesitated for a few seconds before explaining, "I can get you out of here first, but I cannot stay uninvolved in the conflict between Donald and Martha Henry. I don’t want to see either side lose."

Licia’s indecisiveness on this matter was consistently stable. I was not even surprised, but another na she ntioned caught off guard.

I slightly widened my eyes and countered, "You just ntioned Martha? It can’t be the Martha I’m thinking of, can it? She isn’t dead?"

Under my astonished gaze, Licia frowned and bluntly said, "Haven’t you t her once before? It was the day you were first brought to Poison Snake Island!"
