[Margaret’s Perspective]
The man known as Gino seed to sneer disdainfully as he coldly continued, "Hmph! As a buyer, can’t I question the product a bit, or do you all find this absurd and ridiculous, this goddamn excuse of an auction?"
"You..."
"Rather, let’s call this a gathering of pathetic losers; that would be more apt!" Gino did not give the host any chance to retort, his words sharp and incredibly direct.
I quickly searched my mind for any significant figure nad Gino and, finding none, turned to whisper to Donald beside : [Who is this Gino? He seems to have a grudge against Henry and Levi.]
At this mont, a hint of amusent flickered in Donald’s eyes. He quietly lowered his head to look at and replied, [An interesting person, I’ll introduce you after this is over.]
Seeing that Donald wasn’t surprised by this man’s appearance, I felt sowhat relieved and continued to watch the scene unfold below.
"Do you think that by locking down Sant Angelo, no one will disturb your ridiculous assembly? Then you are indeed naïve. The Lilo Sea is, after all, the Wolf Royal Family’s Lilo Sea, not sothing for a despicable coward like Henry and you to ss with! At least I, Gino, will not agree, nor will the Werewolf Gang of Lilo Sea."
"So, Mr. Gino knows he is just a small-ti gang leader. I thought you also had ard forces, bold enough to take on and Henry! Ha ha ha!"
Levi said as he rose from the sofa and, tilting his head, looked towards the second floor, "Cleaning up your Werewolf Gang is a bit troubleso, but not entirely impossible. As far as I know, you have no dealings with Donald; your protection of him surprises , or perhaps, do you also want to be the Lycan King?"
"That’s none of your business. Like you lot, who thrive on the Royal Family’s benefits yet foolishly dream of usurping the throne, you naturally can’t understand the integrity of our Werewolf Gang. The affairs of the Royal City are for the Lycan King to worry about, not , but right now you are in the Lilo Sea. As long as I, Gino, have a say here, I won’t allow you to ss around on this turf, got it?"
After listening to Gino’s statents, I suddenly realized what Donald ant by this person being interesting.
Though he is just a leader of the Lilo Sea Gang, he possesses an integrity and courage akin to that of a soldier, which is indeed valuable!
[He really does speak interestingly. If I were Henry, I would be furious by now.] I communicated with Donald via mind-link while slowly waving the fan in my hand.
Right now, there’s no need for Donald and to take action, as there are already others causing trouble for Levi and Henry, which is indeed a delightful turn of events.
"It seems you are determined to oppose us, is that correct? I actually wouldn’t mind using your blood to clear the path for my and Henry’s revenge." Levi’s eyes flashed dangerously, as if he might surge forward and consu Gino’s flesh the next mont.
"Oh? I can understand Henry having a generational feud with the Lycan King, but you, Levi... what deep-seated vendetta do you have against Donald? Look at you, no hurry to draw your gun; I am genuinely curious about this!"
Seeing Levi angrily aiming his gun at him, Gino remained defiant, his face even filled with a provocative expression.
And just as Levi drew his gun, red-faced and ready to kill Gino on the spot, many ard people suddenly stood up around the hall!
They were all dressed in black suits, and if you looked closely, the patterns on their clothes were very similar to those on Gino’s, indicating they all belonged to the Lilo Sea Gang.
At this point, the servers under Levi’s command also stopped concealing their intentions, drawing their guns almost simultaneously and preparing for battle. Suddenly, the whole space seed to be filled with the cold and lethal scent of firearms and ammunition.
From where I and Donald stood, the numbers of Gino’s and Levi’s n were nearly equal. If they were to clash here, neither side would gain any advantage!
Levi had long planned this auction, and the guests attending held significant influence. If a fight broke out carelessly causing injuries, dealing with the aftermath would be extrely complicated, which was not Levi and Henry’s ultimate goal.
For these reasons, the two opposing factions fell into a stalemate, the atmosphere chilling to an extre.
Donald silently observed the situation unfolding before him, his thoughts inscrutable. I glanced at him and used the mind-link to ask: [This place is too narrow and crowded, hardly suitable for a large-scale fight. If these two start clashing directly, casualties among innocent bystanders will likely be inevitable. What are you planning to do, Donald?]
Donald naturally heard my question. He opened his arms to envelop tightly in his embrace before replying, [If I were Henry, hiding all this ti, I would think now is the crucial mont to intervene and control the situation, but why hasn’t he shown up yet?]
