[Donald’s POV]
Gazing into Margaret’s incomparable eyes, I smiled comfortingly and continued, "You and Benjamin stay in the car, and Louis and Mark will stay close to protect you. I will deal with those bastards quickly, they and whoever is behind them need to know what happens when they provoke , Donald, ti and again!"
Upon hearing this, a look of worry instantly filled Margaret’s eyes. She seed to have so much to say but ended up swallowing her words.
She obediently nodded and said to in a serious tone, "I understand, be careful and don’t get hurt!"
I touched her cheek and replied, "I promise you."
During the few seconds Margaret and I were speaking, the lead vehicles in our caravan had already been forced to stop. Several off-road vehicles that were following closely behind our RV also preemptively circled around, tightly protecting the RV that carried Margaret and Elliot!
[Margaret’s POV]
When the first gunshot rang out outside of our RV, I instinctively turned to look through the window, and it was at that mont Donald got out of the car and walked out.
I hurriedly tried to reach for the hem of his clothes, but I wasn’t successful. Louis and Mark quickly ca over, swiftly locking the car door and clutching their weapons, ready for action.
I didn’t want to be a nuisance at such a critical mont and beco that unreasonable, careless person, so I forced myself to calm down, knelt down on the ground and through the bulletproof one-way glass in front of , I started observing the situation outside.
’Bang’!
The enemy’s vehicle had collided head-on with the outermost off-road vehicle, and it was at that mont I saw Donald’s retreating figure.
Bending over, he quickly jumped into another car, the corner of his mouth moving slightly, as if arranging for the assault team mbers to counterattack.
Given the current situation, even I, a novice in battle, knew that we couldn’t sit idly by!
The enemy’s intentions had beco blatantly obvious when they ramd into the off-road vehicle, they wanted to keep us here at all costs.
The vehicles that were speeding toward us without tapping the brakes were their suicide squad.
Because the RV was taller than all the other cars on the scene, I could see all of the enemy’s offensive moves. I spoke to Louis and Mark, "The cars ramming into us now are only their vanguard. We need to have the Lycans from the personal guard force take them out first. This way, the assault team can also use our own vehicles as cover to counterattack!"
No sooner had my words fallen than several gun barrels protruding from the windows of our caravan had already started the vanguard battle!
"Lycan Queen! You and His Majesty really are in sync, he just said the sa thing through our mind-link system! Whatever you can think of, he can definitely think of too, so you don’t have to worry!"
It appeared Mark received so information, his gaze froze for a second, then quickly beca clear again, likely having just heard Donald speak in the mind-link.
It was then that I realized I had been too nervous to tune into Donald’s mind-link, and after taking a deep breath, I began to seriously listen as Donald used the mind-link to command the Lycans to fight!
The Lycan warrior who heard Donald’s response seed to have no more questions. Donald stopped talking and all I could hear were the chilling gunshots and the frenzied enemy’s charge.
I silently swallowed and clenched my fist as I watched the off-road vehicle where Donald was.
"These people don’t seem to be ordinary Lycans..."
Benjamin suddenly murmured beside . I glanced at him and asked aloud, "Did you notice sothing?"
Benjamin pointed to a Lycan that had just been shot dead by one of our Lycan warriors and continued with a frown, "Did you notice the branding of torture on their faces, and the black clothes they’re wearing, Your Majesty? Those are the punishnts for rogues who have made serious errors, and we’ve seen those black garnts quite a few tis before!"
"These might not be ordinary Lycans at all, but rogue ones that have been banished from the pack!"
