[Donald’s POV]

While we were crossing a swamp, Anthony suddenly said he had received a mind-link from Armstrong!

The mont I heard this information, I tried to contact Margaret, thinking the barrier between us had disappeared, but I didn’t expect Margaret to still not respond. My heart sank, and that unsettling feeling surged back.

I stopped and turned to look at Anthony, who was in contact with Armstrong.

About ten seconds later, clarity returned to Anthony’s eyes. I looked at him and urgently asked, "What did Armstrong say? Has sothing happened to Margaret?"

Anthony looked at strangely, as if wondering why I didn’t contact Margaret myself, but ultimately, as an extrely intelligent and asured warrior, he quickly suppressed his doubts and began answering my questions.

He said, "Yes, Your Majesty, it was our Alpha who initiated contact with . But it’s not Miss Margaret who’s in trouble, it’s Elliot!"

He paused, and his gaze darkened, "Elliot’s injuries suddenly worsened this morning, and Benjamin is at a loss. They had no choice but to report the matter to Miss Margaret, they..."

"And then what? What happened to them? Keep talking!" I pressed, irritated by Anthony’s hesitancy.

Anthony swallowed, seemingly to ease his own nerves, "The Alpha said they set out from the pack early in the morning. It was Miss Margaret and Louis who led the team, with the healer Benjamin accompanying them. They’ve been on the move for nearly six hours!"

This sudden news stunned for a second, but instead of pressing further, I fell into a contemplation.

Why can’t I establish a mind-link with Margaret now that she has only left the Silver Moon Pack? Is it a problem just between her and ?

What about the other Lycans who are with her; have they received any mind-links from the Lycans back at the pack? Why haven’t Louis and Benjamin proactively contacted ?

If Anthony can now contact Armstrong, why can’t I?

Many questions flashed through my mind, and I found it to be a particularly strange point in the situation. First, I turned to Christian and Mark at my side and asked, "Have Benjamin and Louis not contacted you? I an, since we left the Misty Forest?"

Upon hearing this, they quickly shook their heads, clearly bewildered, "Your Majesty, has sothing happened? Why do you look so grim? Is there sothing wrong with Miss Margaret?" Christian asked first.

I shook my head, thinking to myself that it was all very ghostly! If only I knew what had happened to Margaret, then at least I wouldn’t be as clueless as I am now, relying on wild guesses.

"I can’t reach her right now. You both try to contact Benjamin and Louis, see if anyone responds." I thought for a mont and then continued to instruct, looking at them with so expectation.

Watching Christian and Mark nodding silently one after the other, I swallowed nervously and turned to Anthony.

"You have to follow for now. I need you to keep contacting Armstrong so I can stay inford about Margaret’s group. Christian, you stay behind; we need to act separately now. Make sure you keep an eye on these prisoners and bring them safely back to the Palace."

As I talked, I looked back at the other Lycans, slowed my sowhat anxious breathing, and continued to give orders, "None of us will go back to the Silver Moon Pack now. We need to find a way to contact Louis’s group, who set out before us, and catch up as fast as we can to the six hours we’re behind them."

"I know this will be very tough, but I can’t let Margaret and the others continue like this. They have too few guards with them, and the road back to the Palace is far too dangerous. We need to et up with them quickly..." before anything irreversible happens!

I didn’t voice the last part of the sentence. I just looked with a heavy expression at the sowhat tired and bedraggled group of Lycan warriors.

I absentmindedly grasped a handful of my wet hair, looking at the dreary road ahead and said gravely, "Let’s move out."

Christian stood behind , seemingly wanting to say sothing, but in the end, he remained silent. He respectfully nodded to , said ’yes’, and then turned to urgently command the Lycan warriors.

We had to allocate all the hands we had so that both sides of our mission could proceed smoothly.
