"Hmph!" A cold snort echoed as black smoke swirled together into the curvaceous figure of Hei Xiaolian. Crossing her arms, she glared at Li Suo, her voice sharp and biting. "Just because you got pregnant with Wuji's child doesn't an you can act all high and mighty! If I had wanted to, I could have been pregnant a long ti ago!"
She never usually cared or felt any jealousy when other won beca pregnant, but seeing Li Suo's swollen stomach stirred an unexpected sense of crisis in Hei Xiaolian. Perhaps she had subconsciously marked Li Suo as a competitor. She felt a sharp envy. After all, she had co first, so why was that hypocritical Goddess the one who got knocked up first?

"...Is this how you speak to your master?" The hand on Li Suo's belly froze. Yun Wuji lifted his head and stared at Hei Xiaolian.
"Hmph! What the fuck is with that master crap?! That's all in the past! Besides, I don't give a flying fuck about that shit! You are fucking now! Send this bitch back!" Hei Xiaolian didn't back down. She glared at him and stepped forward, grabbing his collar. She usually wasn't like this, but this ti, she really, truly couldn't stand Li Suo getting the upper hand.
"I'll take my leave," Li Suo said, winking at Yun Wuji as if telling him to cater to Hei Xiaolian. She then faded into white light, slipping into his body.
"Sigh, Xiaolian, my cute Xiaolian, why are you acting like Ying'er?" Yun Wuji let out a tired sigh. He pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly and pressing a kiss to her head while coaxing her gently. "It's no big deal that Li Suo got pregnant. It's not like she could ever take your place. You'll always be my first and most important partner."
"I know... but... but..." Hei Xiaolian hugged him back, lting in his arms. She knew his words were true. She was acting exactly like Qianye Ying'er, whom she used to mock, yet she still couldn't get rid of the feeling of defeat. She could accept being defeated by anyone, but not by Li Suo.
"Alright, let's try again," Yun Wuji said, standing up and lifting her in a princess carry. He took a step forward, his figure blurring, and in the next mont, they were in his main chamber.
It was ti for him to work hard again.

The sword formation that had been active for months suddenly ceased to function. The beam of light that had stretched toward the sky, visible from almost every corner of the Kingdom, faded away.
Dressed in a pale blue robe with her hair tied in a simple ponytail, Hua Qingying stepped out lightly. Her usual indifferent expression had been replaced by a light, confident smile.
"Aunt!" She had not walked far before a crisp, dreamlike cry rang from the sky. Imdiately after, a figure landed before her. Hua Caili threw herself at Hua Qingying. "You're finally out! I missed you so much!"
"Caili!" Hua Qingying hugged her niece tightly, her smile widening with genuine warmth.
Watching her aunt actually smile, Hua Caili's eyes nearly bulged, and her cute mouth ford a perfect 'O'. Did her aunt just smile? Such a happy smile, too! In her eighteen years of life, she had never seen her aunt smile like that before.
Is love really such a magical thing to make her aunt change so much? Feeling a little sour, Hua Caili couldn't help but ask, "Is it true that you really found a man?"
"What do you an by found a man?" Hua Qingying ruffled her head, smiling helplessly. "I'm in a relationship with a man, if that's what you're asking."
"Really?! How is that possible?! Who is he! Who is the man who took down the unconquerable aunty?!" Hua Caili's eyes squinted with delight as her aunt patted her head. She rarely received such treatnt from her aunt, and clutching her clothes, she asked eagerly, "Is he soone I know? Have I ever seen him before?"
She was dying of curiosity to know who the man had been, the one who did the unthinkable, broke the unbreakable, tore down her aunt's indestructible walls, and conquered her heart.
"No, you don't know him," Hua Qingying said, shaking her head faintly before adding, "But I am sure you'll like him."
Glancing at her niece's beautiful face, sparkling with curiosity, Hua Qingying thought that perhaps she would like Wuji a little too much if they were ever to et.
"Hmph! How could I like the man who stole my aunt from ?" Hua Caili's cheeks puffed out in a pout as she said this.
Suddenly, Hua Fuchen appeared out of nowhere. He glanced at his daughter and sister before saying, "You are finally out... You... you did it!" His calm expression froze, and his eyes bulged like a character from a cartoon, as if they were about to pop from their sockets. His voice cracked as he exclaid in utter astonishnt.
"Father?" Hua Caili glanced at him in surprise. Without thinking, she quickly grabbed a simple profound image stone and recorded the scene. This was the first ti in her life she had seen her father act in such an undignified way, completely unbefitting a Divine Regent.
"Yes, fortunately, I succeeded this ti," Hua Qingying said, snatching the Profound Imagery Stone from her hand and crushing it as she answered.
"Aunt!" Hua Caili cried in protest, but all she got in response was a roll of her aunt's eyes.
"Unbelievable, simply unbelievable!" Hua Fuchen cast a glance at his unruly daughter but couldn't bring himself to scold her. He was still reeling from the revelation. "To think the High Priest's evaluation would co true. You actually surpassed that final step and beca a True God!"
In the entire history of the Abyss, no one had ever reached the True God Realm through cultivation. The first person to do it stood before him, and it was his own sister. One could imagine the shock and astonishnt coursing through him, and at the sa ti, he felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and jubilation.
"Ehh? Ehhhh? Ehhhhhhhh?!" Hua Caili finally realized what was happening, letting out a string of ridiculous noises. She grabbed her aunt's hand and exclaid, "Aunt, is it true?! You actually beca a True God?!"
"Yes, I am," Hua Qingying answered simply. The process of her breakthrough had been much smoother and faster than she expected. In just a few months, she had succeeded. It must have been thanks to Yun Wuji's 'nourishnts' that she managed to reach the fabled True God Realm so effortlessly.
'I miss him,' she thought, her mind imdiately turning to Yun Wuji. She couldn't wait to go see him.
"Woaah! Amazing! Aunt, you're really amazing!" Hua Caili was far more excited than the person in question. She felt an imnse sense of pride and joy that her aunt had managed to beco a True God.
"Yeah, I know, after all, I am your aunt," Hua Qingying chuckled, patting her head. But then she suddenly froze. What had she just said? Why did she sound more and more like Yun Wuji? Was this his influence? Shaking her head, she grabbed Hua Caili's hand and said, "Let's go, I'll take you to see him."
"You're going?" Hua Fuchen asked.
"Yes, I want to see him. It's been so long," Hua Qingying replied, and without waiting any longer, she transford into a beam of light and vanished into the grey sky, fading from his sight.
"..." Hua Fuchen stood frozen in place. In the past, it had always been him running around, chasing after Caili's mother. Now it was his sister's turn, dashing off to see her man at every opportunity.
