Yun Wuji, as her master, had always been gentle, kind, and supportive, offering her a sense of comfort she had grown used to. She always enjoyed his warm attention, but this ti, his touch gave her a different feeling, it felt more romantic, which caused her heart to flutter.
"It's still early; you can go back to sleep," Yun Wuji chuckled softly.
"Master, are you going sowhere?" Xiao Lingxi suddenly opened her eyes, her tone timid as she asked.
"No, I'm not going anywhere. I want to stay here and look at my Lingxi the whole day," Yun Wuji laughed lightly, slipping into the bed and pulling her into his arms. "Hehe~ Master-" Xiao Lingxi giggled, resting her head on his chest. She then looked up at him, her voice soft as she asked, "Master... can I... can I call you Wuji as well?"
"Of course, you can, foolish! Why would you even need my permission for that?" Yun Wuji chuckled, lightly tapping her forehead with two fingers as if playfully reprimanding her. "Hmm!" Xiao Lingxi nodded, then buried her face into his chest, taking a deep breath as she savored his scent. In a soft whisper, she murmured, "Master... Wuji... hehe, Wuji... Wuji..." She stayed like that for a while, her breathing steady as she drifted back into a peaceful sleep
in his arms.
Yun Wuji waited for her to fall fully asleep, ensuring she was comfortable in his embrace. Then, with his free hand, he carefully retrieved a beast's profound core. It resembled a fist- sized, deep blue pearl, one of the very few Sovereign Profound Beast Cores.
In the entire three continents, there were fewer than 2,000 Sovereign Profound Beasts,
making this profound core an exceptionally rare treasure.
"What are you doing?" Jasmine, who had been observing him for a while, couldn't contain her
