"What’s with those faces~? Don’t tell you’re not happy to see ~? That makes sad." Floating in the air with her arms crossed, the woman wearing so kind of combat suit under a lab coat, short brown hair, bald on top and with an athletic build asked in a falsely disappointed tone.
However, without saying anything, the quintet simply remained quiet, looking around attentively.
"What do we do?" Holding a weapon in a tense grip, Nalini asked quietly, her gaze moving from side to side inside the duct, seeing both ends already filled with other agents.
"What we do is obvious, we have to fight while waiting for the boys, then with their help we escape from here." Also with a weapon in hand, Emília replied to her with a furrowed look.
"Xiao?" Nalini asked, shifting her gaze to her.
With her eyes focused on the woman still in the air, Xiao replied without looking at her. "That’s the plan."
"I see." Nalini said, swallowing hard, then taking a deep breath, she adjusted her grip on the weapon, adopting a serious look as if trying to ignore her nervousness.
"Don’t you think we can win?" Vanessa beside Xiao asked, her eyes also focused on the woman hovering in the air.
Xiao said nothing for a mont, seeming to reflect before finally saying. "We have few chances."

And Vanessa imdiately rose into the air, her boots firing as she headed toward the agents near Xiao.
During that brief mont of silence, Xiao sent a ssage through the implant about what each of them would do.
Basically, while she and Vanessa would fight the woman, Nina, Emília and Nalini would stay inside what remained of the air duct and use a turtle tactic, eliminating as many enemies as possible while providing whatever support they could.
"Heh~" Laughing amusedly at seeing Xiao running toward her, the octopus woman didn’t move, only her robotic arms moved, blocking the shots while the agents near her fired or ran toward Xiao.
Continuing to run, Xiao Xun’er blocked shots with her staff while those she couldn’t were blocked by the circular barrier that surrounded her montarily.
With that barrier appearing and disappearing, it was hard to use both the staff and the weapon, but she did so with perfect synchronization, her eyes darting from side to side and her body moving constantly amid waves of shots and people.
Slowly but surely, she was taking them down one by one, although most were still alive, especially those with clear genetic enhancents.
But from the air, Vanessa ca as support.
While she herself was under attack, she fired at those aiming at her and from ti to ti shot at those surrounding Xiao Xun’er, all while maneuvering erratically in the air, dodging as many shots as possible.
But this proved to be a difficult battle, with her teeth clenched, she was pushing herself as hard as she could, and fortunately for her, she also had the support of the other three inside the air duct.
While protecting themselves behind the electric barrier and another barrier raised against one side, Emília, Nalini and Nina were also doing their best to eliminate as many enemies as possible.

Unconcerned, she didn’t even try to block the attack and simply moved her own hand to grab the staff.
Without effort, the staff stopped in her hand with a simple grip.
Looking at the black staff stopped just a few centiters from her chest, the woman cast a neutral look at Xiao Xun’er. "Is that it? I thought-"
However, an explosion interrupted her.
The staff exploded, releasing an intense light along with electricity that spread in all directions.
With the ring’s barrier protecting her from the closest arcs, Xiao Xun’er continued firing at nearby agents who were not affected by the explosion while glancing sideways.
In a few seconds, however, as the smoke dissipated, she saw the robotic legs still on the ground.
"Tsk." Clicking her tongue, Xiao Xun’er knew her attack hadn’t worked.
In the dissipating smoke, the woman’s figure slowly revealed itself, then her form beca completely visible.
And the most obvious result of the attack was her clothes, with the upper part almost entirely burned away, her torso left exposed.
This included her breasts, with her large brown nipples fully on display.
But without caring about that, she simply tossed away the rest of her outfit while smiling. "Impressive, you really got there, although as you can see, your attack didn’t do much." On her white skin, only a few small injuries were visible.
Aside from a fleeting glance, Xiao Xun’er did nothing else as she continued firing.
Raising her eyebrows slightly and smiling amusedly at being practically ignored, the woman continued. "Well, let’s finish-" However, stopping midway, she raised her gaze, right at that mont sothing was jumping through the cut air duct.

Turning her gaze back to him, she then saw him now standing atop the piece of air duct, pointing a weapon in her direction while several other n were now with him.

And the response she got from Jonathan and the others was several shots.
The energy bullets flew through the air, but Jonathan and the others saw how they were easily blocked by her robotic arms.
Receiving a quick ssage through the implant, they changed positions, while William moved to give cover to Xiao Xun’er, Jonathan moved to give cover to Vanessa, with the other boys descending from the air duct and joining the girls inside.
Stretching out his arm, his holographic shield that had been thrown far away finally returned as it snapped back into place on its own.
Raising it in front of him, he stayed below and near where Vanessa hovered.
Firing at those who got too close, he protected himself with his shield, with a few shots hitting his vest.
"Shit." Muttering quietly as another shot hit his vest, Jonathan found himself becoming increasingly overwheld, the enemies seed endless, most of those he hit weren’t taken down for good, they just got back up and kept attacking him.
Proof of that being the woman who at that very mont finally managed to get close enough to land a physical blow even after taking a point-blank shot.
Being a head taller and advancing with an intensity as if she wanted to crush him, the woman approached him with her arms raised in a hamr blow and fury on her face.
Raising his shield, Jonathan blocked her attack, which made him drop to one knee. "Fuck!" Knowing that fighting physically with soone enhanced was stupid, he didn’t hesitate to imdiately point his weapon at her.
But he didn’t shoot her chest or head, he shot her foot.
"Argh!" As she scread in pain, he took advantage of the mont and landed a kick to her knee, making her kneel.
But the mont she went down, he hooked the tip of his gun under her chin and fired.
With her head exploding in blood, Jonathan, full of adrenaline, didn’t even have ti to feel disgust before finding himself completely surrounded.
"Fuck!" With his barrier flickering more and more with each shot, he found himself forced to retreat.
Moving closer to where the others were, he received help from them until he could stay within Yusuke’s lightning barrier.
"Shit! These sons of bitches just won’t go down! At this rate we’re going to die!" Holding the barrier with one hand, Yusuke said while firing from ti to ti.
Expanding his shield in front of him, Jonathan went back to covering Vanessa while his eyes briefly turned to where Xiao Xun’er and William were.
The two moved with synchronization and skill, demonstrating their proficiencies in dealing with the large number of enemies.
But it was also clear that this was useless, because with all the effort they made, it wasn’t enough to hurt the woman with octopus arms, every shot they fired at her was easily blocked by the arms.
She remained there in the air with her arms crossed over her naked breasts and an amused smile, seeming to just be watching their futile effort.
’Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!’ Growing more and more tired and with the others not much better off than him, Jonathan knew they were out of ti, he sent a ssage to William and Xiao Xun’er to see if they had a plan.
And he was surprised to receive a yes as a response.
Just as he was about to ask what it was, the woman in the air spoke.
"That’s enough, step back."
And with her words, the agents who were shooting or attacking like lunatics stopped, leaving them alone.
"Huff...Huff..." Breathing out tiredly through his mouth, Jonathan and the others near him found themselves surrounded by agents who were rely staring at them.
Looking ahead, he saw that the situation with William and Xiao Xun’er was the sa, with the ground below where Vanessa floated also being the sa, everyone looking up at her.
And he also noticed how all of them looked exhausted.

Amid that tense atmosphere, Alex asked doubtfully, rubbing the back of his neck, in front of him, Yusuke silently nodded in agreent.

"Uh...bad ti?" Alex asked, scratching his chin, while Yusuke in front of him quickly shook his head, pretending to disapprove of his actions when he saw all those stares.
"Hahaha, you’re funny, it’s a sha soone so handso has to die, and since you didn’t answer , I’ll take that as a no." Laughing lightly, the woman said, for the first ti doing sothing other than defending herself, she took a step forward with her robotic arms, intending to attack herself.
But it was at that mont that William shouted.
"Ivan!"
And in response, Ivan threw sothing toward a random group of enemy agents.
The woman only saw two small objects before they hit the ground, then, as she wondered what they were, a blue barrier rose up, trapping the agents inside.
And imdiately following, an explosion erupted inside the barrier.
