"Roar!!"

Old Mordi was screaming, but the two twisted monsters hanging on him let out sharp shrieks.

"Ping ping!"

Glass shattered, and Flai subconsciously wanted to cover his ears, but the boy forcibly endured the pain in his eardrums with his willpower, his head spinning as he quickly ran towards Ireina.

"....."

Flai’s voice was inaudible to Ireina, but the girl’s instinctual trust in her brother still made her grab his hand.

’Hurry up!’

The Lizard People weren’t real lizards; they were actually more akin to demi-humans.

Thus, they could hear, and hear very clearly.

"Undead zombies!"

Their superhumanly keen perception allowed the Lizard People to make an imdiate judgnt.

Four Lizard People swiftly surrounded Mordi and the two zombies while on the nearby bed, the bodies of two other girls were eerily starting to rise.

"Roar!"

Old Mordi’s head was bitten off, the grueso sight, the zombies relishing the flesh and blood, nearly made even the Lizard People almost vomit.

"Is this a Miracle Troop Type?"

"Unclear."

The Lizardman Captain, evidently the leader, drew his Curved Knife, ready for battle: "But this must be soone’s Miracle Power! Is it the Necromancer King’s summoning?"

"A necromancer? Has a necromancer made their way here?"

Hearing about necromancers, the four Lizard People contemplated retreating.

After all, they were just Ordinary Level Miracle Troop Types, unable to even release energy, so how could they compare to a Necromancer who was at least at an Extraordinary Level?

Even if it was just a necromancy apprentice, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

"Roar!!"

However, the zombies were not content with rely avenging themselves on Old Mordi. Their resentnts unappeased, after taking down the swine, they turned their attention to the remaining four living beings in the room.

"They’re coming!"

Unable to consider anything further, with the opponent striking, the Lizard People could only battle.

·

"Huff-hah! Huff-hah!"

Elsewhere, Flai was gripping his sister’s hand tightly, the siblings dashing through the corridor.

"What is that thing? Brother, what, what is that?"

Ultimately just a little girl, Ireina had never seen such bizarre things.

"Don’t know, I also, don’t have a clue."

Flai was panting, but what had just happened truly defied his imagination: "The swine ntioned miracles, this, should be the miracle he spoke of."

"Miracle?"

What a terrifying miracle, turning people into such things.

And those four people resembling lizards, what were they?

"Boom!"

A loud noise ca from behind the siblings, then two dark figures climbed along the wall to the ceiling like spiders.

"They lack the protection of Miracle Power!"

"They are not Miracle Troop Types," the Lizardman Captain touched his neck, realizing sothing: "Damn, they’re just Offspring of Miracle!"

The zombies moved quickly, launching themselves directly at the Lizardman Captain, then biting into his neck.

The Lizardman Captain thought he was done for, but unexpectedly, the tables turned.

[Basic: Physical Resistance]

[Basic Dragonkin Scales: Sharpness Resistance]

"Don’t worry, they can’t harm us!"

Ordinary Level Miracle Troop Types, but still Miracle Troop Types.

With the blessing of Miracle Power, just those Passives and Resistances were enough to make these zombies, re Offspring of Miracle, despair.

"Brother, what should we do?"

Flai saw the speed of the Lizard People and the zombies, realizing that they could not possibly escape at such speeds.

’They call them undead zombies.’

’If the undead win, Old Mordi’s fate will be our fate.’

’But if the Lizard People win,’ Flai thought, ’we’ll still have to die!’

The protectors sent by the rivals of the female governor, these Lizard People surely wouldn’t spare him and were likely to eliminate him on the spot.

Even if Flai could survive, Ireina would undoubtedly die.

"Damn it!"

Flai racked his brains, but still couldn’t find a way out.

And this was mortals’ despair when faced with miracles.

"Thud!"

"Thud!"

The sound of a Magic Wand hitting the floor ca from the end of the corridor, and Flai quickly turned to look. From the shadows, a young man with silvery-white hair was slowly walking towards them.

"Oh my, quite formidable, aren’t they?"

Hailbo leaned on his Magic Wand, and outside the corridor’s floor-to-ceiling window, an enormous shadow flitted by in an instant.

Because of Cat Lulu’s trendous size, she couldn’t enter quietly, so she stayed in the courtyard, judging the other mbers and guards of the Mordi Family.

Lyon’s Domain was unique—it didn’t send everyone into the sa Dreamscape, but opened up countless private servers.

Simply put, Lyon used the Ancient City as a template to create thousands upon thousands of Dreamscape spaces.

Each person, or group, would fall into one such space, facing attacks from the People of Yatun, Contaminated Species, and various Nightmare Monsters.

Mortals’ power naturally couldn’t escape Lyon’s palm.

Even the Child of Miracle couldn’t compete with the Miracle Entity itself.

However, the People of Yatun were friends, so they could freely log into any Dreamscape server, like teaming up for a raid.

Hailbo only needed to lift his head to see countless room numbers, with vague information about the person inside, plus reviews from the People of Yatun responsible for that Dreamscape.

[Requesting Assistance]

The Mordi Family has encountered Miracle Troop Types of an Ordinary Level, Lizard People

[Team Up: Need a Heroic Level]

There are too many monsters in the slave market; we alone can’t contain them

[Witch Wanted: Mind-Reading Specialist]

It’s too hard to distinguish the good from the bad within the faction. We need a witch who can cast mind-reading spells.

.......

"Pfft!"

The curved knife flashed, beheading the walking corpse.

Even though its body was still moving, as the blade imbued with Miracle Power pierced its heart, the walking corpse fell unwillingly to the ground.

"Are you the Necromancer they speak of?"

Flai was very surprised. Hailbo was standing right here, yet the Lizard People didn’t react at all, as if he did not exist.

"Necromancer?"

Hailbo looked at Flai and Ireina, whose nas floated above their heads like those of NPCs.

[Flai]

Introduction: Born in the slums of the Ancient City, relying on his sister for survival, currently a male servant of the Mordi Family.

Sin Karma: 0

Favorability: 60

[Ireina]

Sin Karma: 0

Favorability: 80

This ’Sin Karma’ is actually a asure of evil deeds, judged based on the amount of hatred one has accumulated from people despising them.

However, re hatred can’t represent a person’s nature entirely.

For instance, a group of drug traffickers who fear a policeman protecting the people might also harbour resentnt toward the police. Would that an the policeman’s Sin Karma would skyrocket?

In order to prevent such irrational scenarios, Old Uncle and others had established a more reasonable set of criteria.

The formula for this judgnt is very complex.

Bailuo could not guarantee that he could catch every single pest, but he could ensure that he would never wrongfully kill a good person.

As for favorability.

This was a standard set by Lyon, based on partial mories from people in the Nightmares, to give the People of Yatun a general impression when they t them.

If Lyon assigned a high favorability rating, it ant the person was deed worthy of being brought to Yatun to receive education and cultivation.

"Is the Necromancer ?"

Hailbo looked at his attire and chuckled, "I am the Blood Moon Hunter, Hailbo."

A favorability of 60 and 80, to be honest, isn’t low at all.

Hailbo had t many from the Ancient City People along the way, but almost none had favorability over 30, and most were in the negatives.

Clearly, in Lyon’s eyes, these guys were useless, the sort of trash that was difficult to educate or reform.

"Thank you for saving , I am imnsely grateful!"

Flai, pulling his sister, imdiately prostrated themselves before Hailbo, "Please allow to follow you and repay your kindness!"

"Ireina!"

Seeing his sister not reacting in ti, Flai quickly pushed the girl’s head down, and the two knelt together on the ground, "You don’t have to pity us, just command us like dogs!"

.......

Hailbo was stunned for a mont, but he quickly understood, "Oh, I see, that’s how it is."

As clever as Hailbo, he imdiately grasped Flai’s aning.

The boy knew he couldn’t escape death, so the only way was to choose between the left and right path.

Flai chose the Necromancer.

If he gambled and lost, and Hailbo turned out to be a madman, then Flai would have done all he could and death would be inevitable.

But if he won, perhaps, it could be an opportunity!

"Swearing allegiance from the get-go, even a dog would be kept by most people at first, in case they prove useful later."

One has to admit, Flai’s decision and courage deserved Hailbo’s approval.

"!!!"

Flai kept his head low, but his heart was full of astonishnt.

Hailbo had seen through his thoughts at a glance: ’Damn, I calculated against the wrong person!’

Cleverness turned against its master.

If the other party knew Flai was playing tricks, would he still keep Flai around?

Perhaps.

But the probability of death after failing had just increased significantly.

"Relax, I am not any Necromancer, and those two walking corpses weren’t summoned by ."

Hailbo was a modest person. Although he could show off in front of mortals, he didn’t enjoy doing so.

Only after eting inscrutable characters like King of Aolai and Bailuo does one truly see how wide the world is and realize their own insignificance.

"Thank you, my lord! Thank you, my lord!"

Flai did not dare to take liberties and once more prostrated himself with his sister in thanks, swearing loyalty.

"Alright, alright, I said I won’t harm you, so I won’t."

Hailbo tapped his own head with the magic wand, sowhat helplessly, as Flai, lacking a sense of security, continuously emphasized his willingness to be a dog, just to stay alive.

However, Hailbo did not dislike him. Had it been Hailbo himself, in the beginning, he might have done the sa.

With no choice, the only path to survival, who hasn’t struggled and survived this way?

Hailbo strangely felt he understood Flai.

"Besides, it’s not to whom you should be kneeling."

Hailbo sidestepped Flai’s prostration. He held manners in high regard and would not act beyond his position.

"Yes!"

Flai quickly stood up with Ireina, without the slightest hesitation.

’Oh, this guy can also see into people’s hearts, realizing that I genuinely didn’t want him to kneel.’

Flai’s reaction was decisive and showed his confidence, confidence that he had guessed Hailbo’s thoughts correctly.

But...

Hailbo had only spoken a few words.

And from that, he could guess?

’Very intelligent and extrely confident.’

Hailbo saw a special quality in Flai: ’Could this guy be the Competent Minister the teacher talked about?’
