"Hailbo brother, is Yatun really full of delicious food?"

The speaker was a girl whose cute fox ears bounced in the wind, and her fox tail swayed back and forth in tune with her questioning.

The girl was about 12 years old. She had no na; everyone simply called her Little Silver Fox.

"Haven’t you been eating all along the way?"

"What’s there to doubt?"

"The food out on the sea really is delicious; back in our mountain ravines, even finding a wild chicken was tough."

"Yeah, not a single feather to be found."

"There must be even more delicious food in Yatun, right?"

"..."

The King of Aolai gifted Yatun with 100 fox won as a symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.

And aboard this ship, there were also a large variety of small animals chosen to be sent to Yatun to undergo the transformation by the Fairy Power.

This exchange between the two nations symbolized the friendly interactions they shared.

Bailuo had a good impression of Aolai Country and the King of Aolai and also valued his formidable military strength.

Since the King of Aolai had sent such lovely gifts as the fox won, and Bailuo liked their style, how could he not be pleased?

Bailuo imdiately sent word to Hailbo, instructing him to take good care of the fox won and to treat them as one would treat the People of Yatun.

"Of course!"

Hailbo said, "I’ve heard that fox won like to eat chicken, and the chicken in Yatun is fed special feed, which makes them plump and tender."

"Sizzle!"

Upon hearing there would be delicious chicken to eat, every fox woman licked her lips in anticipation.

Their status in Aolai Country was very low; they could hardly ever indulge in good food—calling them impoverished was just a polite way of saying it, as ’poor’ was the more accurate description.

So, upon hearing about the wealth of Yatun and the opportunity to migrate there, the fox won’s first reaction was naturally to not want to leave their holand.

But since the King of Aolai was willing to let them go and it wasn’t considered a betrayal, the fox won didn’t have a reason to object.

As Miracle Citizens, their respect for the Master of Miracles was assured, and their loyalty was not in question.

But that wasn’t absolute.

To these fox won, the King of Aolai was like a mortal compared to a god, simply too far out of reach.

They had never seen the King of Aolai, nor did they have the right to.

The Tushan Nine-tailed Fox was the queen of the fox won, who couldn’t even et their own queen, let alone the king of their queen.

Sotis, when too many generations pass among the Miracle Citizens, intimacy and kinship can beco issues.

Especially in Aolai Country, as there wasn’t any indoctrination among its citizens, making the nation more akin to tribes and forts. The King of Aolai didn’t work hard to foster a sense of belonging, obviously due to a lack of fundantal awareness.

Aolai Country was a primitive tribe that worshipped the strong and respected the powerful.

Although the small demons were nurous, they lacked strength. The ones who fought were always the more powerful demons.

This was why the fox won, despite being so adorable, lived such poor lives.

With only beautiful exteriors but no strength, they were, bluntly, playthings for others, nothing more than pets begging for affection with a wag of their tails.

To Aolai Country, and perhaps to the King of Aolai himself, these fox won were truly just gifts to be given away.

’These fox won are really straightforward.’

Hailbo had been observing them and noticed that the fox won had simple personalities and would work hard as long as they were well-fed.

’The style of the Lost Realm, huh? Won are often subservient to strong males.’

"That’s got intrigued, too."

General Ganglie was present as well. His mission was to escort Hailbo to Yatun and then to bring back a shipnt of supplies to Aolai Country from Yatun.

"Don’t worry, Pig Brother."

Hailbo: "You won’t be left out."

"That’s good, that’s good, hehe."

General Ganglie had an enormous appetite, but what he craved was quantity over quality.

Taste was secondary; the main thing was to have a large amount.

"Speaking of which."

Hailbo suddenly asked, "If one day, Yatun and Aolai were to go to war, whose side would you be on?"

"..."

Faced with such a question, the fox won looked at each other, and for a mont, no one knew how to answer.

"Little brother Hailbo?"

General Ganglie might have been out of politics for a long ti, but he understood the implication behind such a piercing question—he saw that Hailbo was testing these fox won.

"This..."

A fox woman with black hair asked, "Will Yatun really go to war with Aolai?"

General Ganglie was kind-hearted, and having spent ten days with the fox won, they beca familiar with each other and were no longer as tense and scared as they had been when they first heard about the lord of Fuling Mountain.

"Cannot we not go to war?"

"We, we have so sisters over there."

This was a Black Fox nad Moxin, who had previously learned so magic and her strength was close to the Extraordinary Level.

However, she had been allowed to co over because she was needed elsewhere.

"I, I don’t an anything by it," Moxin said, "If it really cos to a fight, I, I’ll stand with Yatun, but cannot we not fight?"

Moxin was a very gentle fox woman, appearing to be in her twenties.

She had long, straight black hair and moved with grace, speaking in soft and gentle tones. At this mont, political sensitivity made her feel out of her elent.

"I was just speaking hypothetically, just hypothetically."

Hailbo had been testing them; in fact, throughout the journey, he had been sounding them out indirectly, trying to gauge their truthfulness, and had Cat Lulu carefully observe all the fox won present.

This was the task given to them by Bailuo: to ensure that the won were not spies from Aolai Country.

"Haha, I was just joking."

"Yatun and Aolai are brother nations in friendship; how could we possibly go to war!"

Moxin believed his words.

The Black Foxes all breathed a sigh of relief.

But the Silver Foxes and the Golden Foxes nearby knew very well that Hailbo was probing their loyalty.

"Lulu."

Hailbo exchanged a glance with Cat Lulu, who communicated through magic: "It seems that the contract established by the Miracle Power has been completely dissolved. In nearly ten days, they have beco ordinary citizens, with no ties to Aolai anymore."
