Wrecking ball
I thanked the person delivering the bag and note before finding a nearby bench to start transferring things over from my original bag to my new one. The process was smooth and easy since my new bag had an abundance of space for everything that I owned. The new bag also contained the agreed upon poke` as well as the portable cooking station and alchemy equipnt. All in all I was quite pleased with my new bag after I placed the strap over my left shoulder so that the bag rested on my right hip.-
I found a nearby store and sold off my old bag that I no longer needed for two thousand poke` before making my way back to the training area to oversee Gaia and Vulcans training. When I got there I was surprised to learn that Gaia had succeeded in creating a new move though I felt my eyebrow twitch at what it was. Not because it was weak or anything but because it was a double edge type deal. Like the move double edge Gaia's new move caused her to be hit with heavy recoil when it was used.-
We chose to na this new move wrecking ball due to the way it worked and the pure destructiveness of it. See the move worked by having Gaia focus a dense amount of steel type energy on her back as she leaned backwards with her air jets. She then gathered an equal amount of steel type energy on her front side before blasting towards whatever she is using the move on. On contact with her target the energy on her back gets forced into the energy on her front causing a violent explosion of steel type energy. The move reminded of self destruct except it was not as suicidally dangerous to the pokemon using it.-
Don't get wrong though I really didn't like the move since Gaia had BAD cracks and scrapes on her carapace after using it once. I asked her how she even figured out how to make the move and she explained that when she was training with the steel type energy earlier she accidentally clashed two different pockets of energy and rather than mixing they exploded. She then used that as a foundation for this move.-
Admittedly the explanation wasn't that easy to decipher since I only had our bond to use as a translation thod but I am clever enough to grasp the general aning to her speech. "I suppose it works but know that that move is a last resort in this coming up challenge." I told her firmly and she rumbled in agreent as I used my healing ability to nd her wounds. I had to do it in spurts since I don't have enough energy to heal so much damage at once but it still got done. After another slap and tickle filled night with lissa I decided to relax for the last day before my challenge.-
My pokemon have worked hard and deserved a break to get into the best possible condition for the battle. There were a few places in the city for pampering pokemon but I decided to bring my team to a spa for the day. Vulcan got a deep fur cleaning and trim alongside a massage while Gaia got the rock and ground treatnt. This involved her carapace getting polished professionally with specially designed machines. Rune got his claws done while he received a massage of his own that had small pulses of electricity. Tank got to soak in the mineral hotsprings with while all of this was going on.-
After that we went to the amusent park at the eastern portion of the city that was designed with pokemon in mind and thus quite durable and wide open. Vulcan seed to have the most fun in the obstacle track that had prizes based on your ti. It wasn't fast enough to get the grand prize which was a tm for the move earthquake but Vulcan did get a free al voucher for one of the more popular food stalls. Gaia won the beauty contest though and earned a ribbon and rock type grooming kit. -
Rune and Tank didn't participate in any events but still seed to enjoy themselves greatly. At the ti I was set to et up with lissa I balled up my team and left the amusent park. She was waiting for outside the gym when I finally got to her. "Whats got you in such a sour mood?" I asked after seeing her frown as I walked up. "The last few days have been frankly fantastic for and now I am a little reluctant to see them end." she said honestly.-
"All things do eventually." I pointed out and she sighed "I know that but that doesn't an it doesn't suck alright? Out of every league fling I've had so far you were overall the best. The sex is great and you even cuddle afterwards. You made breakfast and dinner everyday and weren't weird or clingy. Honestly this has been the least stressful point in all the league seasons I've worked so I am understandably unhappy with it ending and the stress coming back." She said with a depressed slouch. "Should I have behaved worse?" I asked curiously.-
This was honestly a new experience for as most of the one night stands I had never lasted this long so I had never had to deal with sothing like this. "No , this is mostly just being selfish is all. I am dreading the stress that will start to build up after you leave." she said honestly. "I see , shall we go then?" I asked calmly and she nodded. I honestly didn't care all things considered as this was a no strings attached type thing to begin with so I had no reason why I should.-
I spent the remainder of the night as had for the previous few days and after breakfast in the morning I left without a word. I did my morning workout and trained Rune a little before it was finally ti to go to my challenge. I wasn't nervous or anything as I had done my best to prepare so I will be satisfied so long as I can honestly say that I gave it my all. My pokemon mirrored my mindset and waited in their balls as i walked into the gym and checked in.-
The clerk went back into the gym and a few minutes passed before they ca back "Roxanne is ready for you now." they said and I followed them into the gyms back area. There was none of those childish obstacles or extra trainers to defeat before the gym leader from the ga but the entire back of the gym was a massive sand and rock field with a clear arena outlined. At the far end on the trainer platform stood a twenty ish looking woman with red stocking and a formal skirt that complented her well kept and neat black hair , it was Roxanne.
