Acclimatization
With this thought in mind I laid in bed quietly as I let my energy ander under my skin throughout my body. It was hard to say when but at so point I fell asleep doing this. When I woke up again I was more or less healed fully but still had the issue of not being able to seriously use my energy. Don't get wrong I could absolutely still use it to a minor degree but I lacked the freedom with it I had before the evolution into divinity.-
It was a sharp change in nature so my body once again had to acclimatize to my new energy before i could use it fully but that ant I needed ti. With nothing to do as my pokemon were still recovering and the Joys were fussing over my health despite being perfectly healthy I practiced drawing Unknown runes to pass the ti. Over the next three days I had made good progress on this front as a result having completed several runic sentences that if made in the right ink would create artifacts with low but reliable power.-
Simple things like cooling the air around the artifact constantly to a certain point or just glowing slightly. It was nothing exaggerated or anything like that but in the right circumstances had their uses. Finally though my pokemon fully recovered and the Joys had no way to keep us any longer though I had a sneaking suspicion they were hoping I would anyways. I wasn't so blind as to fail to notice the almost blatant honey trap they were running as all of the nurse Joys I interacted with were all attractive and acting interested. I suppose I could understand why the clan would try sothing like this as it was a many birds with one stone type deal.-
If I actually fell for one of these Joys I would have to stop all my violent activities minus maybe normal pokemon training and battles. I would also be a powerful asset for the clan as well. The cherry on top though was the frankly obscene amount of abilities and talents I had that had a high chance of being even partially transferred to my offspring. Hitching to their clan as a result seed a fairly solid choice to make and it certainly didn't hurt that I was also considered quite handso if rather intimidating.-
'Perhaps they'd change their mind if they knew I was carrying a direct connection to the literal embodint of the end of all things.' I thought amused as I collected all of my pokemon and left the pokecenter. I hadn't really explored Eterna city when I first arrived due to how ssed up my team and I were but now that I was recovered I aid to change that. I ignored the Galactic building for now that had still not been raided by the league for so reason and walked the roads to see what was what.-
Most of the buildings I saw were hos but there was so thrift stores, antique shops, general stores and other kinds of shops as well though only the general stores had more than one shop in the city. All in all the place was a sleepy city that probably wouldn't even count as one if it wasn't so populated by people looking for a peaceful life. At so point I ended up in front of the Dialga and Palkia statue and couldn't help but feel like for a brief mont the gazes of it's real selves fell on before looking away.-
It was probably my imagination as there was no oppression or anything like that. Still I couldn't help but marvel at the statue that nailed the titans appearance perfectly. I didn't doubt at all that whoever carved it had themselves at so point laid eyes upon the lord of ti and the lord of space. 'Perhaps it was soone who accompanied the Hisui hero all those years ago or perhaps the hero themselves.' I thought as I looked at the statues carefully. There was no telling to be honest however as the plaque for the statue had been rendered illegible by ti.-
"I thought I'd find you here." I female voice said as soone walked up.
I looked at the source and saw a vibrant woman with short orange and black highlighted hair and an odd outfit on. The outfit consisted of a sports top covered by a short green cloak that only covered the top part of her torso. She also had on brown cargo shorts and green boots. Obviously this was Gardenia, the gym leader of this city and a grass type specialist.-
"Didn't know you were looking for ." I said calmly as I turned my gaze back to the statue. "It must remind you of what you saw at the top of Mt. coronet. Want to talk about it?" she asked as she ca to stand next to as she too looked at the statue. I shook my head "Nothing to talk about really. It's not the first ti I've co face to face with sothing that can kill without any resistance from at all and it won't be the last either. The rest is rely just normal stuff for ." I said honestly.-
"A lot of people would say that sounds like trauma speaking but you do have the experience to support that so I'll take it at face value. Still the league wanted soone to make sure you weren't going to go off the deep end now that you are out of danger. I was the closest so i got asked." she said casually. "Can't say I bla them. Most would likely develop so sort of psychosis after the things I've experienced but I've long since co to terms with the way my life was going to turn out." I said honestly.-
"Hard to believe that you've predicted all of this." she said skeptically. I chuckled "I predicted very little of this. I won't lie and say I haven't seen so of it coming but much of it has been a surprise for too. Still after what happened at Hoenn I accepted that my life was never going to be comparable to the mundane persons." I said with a smile. "A surprisingly enlightened way of looking at it." she said genuinely taken back. "I'm no re beast that follows it's instincts. For all my ferocity there is an equal amount of knowledge and drive." I say seriously.
