The next day, after a very pleasant ti with Bellatrix, it was ti for Severus to return to Hogwarts, to that island of peace and quiet where he could more or less relax, and also continue to learn such areas as: potion making, runology and witchcraft, from so of the best in these areas.
And so, in the morning, Severus transmigrated to the already familiar village, located near the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and from there, on foot, headed towards the castle, enjoying the clean, morning air, which the Muggle world sorely lacked, as well as with a much larger amount of magic, although his ho surpassed this place in both aspects.
But still, it was much more pleasant to walk around a place where only wizards lived. Diagon Alley did not count for the reason that it was located in one of the busiest Muggle cities and, in addition to the dirty air, the general cold atmosphere did not allow one to relax even a little and was much inferior to this quiet and calm village.
Severus reached the castle in fifteen minutes and, passing through the front entrance in the form of two large double doors, he imdiately headed towards the Slytherin common room.
There were no classes that day, because only today, after the New Year holidays, the young wizards were returning back to the educational institution, and in the evening, a new schedule would be posted in the hall and common rooms until June.
Although this year few took advantage of the opportunity to leave the castle for two weeks, this could easily be understood by the almost full Great Hall, past which the Prince passed.
Still, all parents were worried about their children and understood that it would be much safer at Hogwarts, especially under the protection of the "Most Powerful Wizard in Britain" and the teachers who did not sit behind the backs of their accomplices during the events that took place on December 20th*.
But there were those who took advantage of it, these were mainly the children of aristocrats and so Muggle-born wizards, whose parents, like them, did not understand much about the situation in the world of magic and no one was in a hurry to enlighten them...

Having gone down the stairs towards the dungeon and already turning right, in the distance, he noticed a familiar older man who looked very tired. In addition to a slight pallor and bags under his eyes, his clothes were very wrinkled in places, which surprised the Prince a little.
The wizard himself, deep in thought about sothing, did not imdiately notice Snape, but continued to walk forward, looking at the floor and not paying much attention to his surroundings.
And only when they were separated by a few ters did he look up, finally noticing the student and smiled slightly, a little languidly, but with a much more lively expression on his face, "Welco back, Mister Prince, I am glad to see you and I hope you had a good weekend."
"Likewise, Professor, but apparently everything went better for than for you…." examining Slughorn, he drawled puzzledly, "Did sothing happen to you?"
"It's okay, everything's fine, I just drank a little too much yesterday, that's why I didn't get enough sleep…"
"Professor, you can fool others with this, but we've known each other for a very long ti and I know that you wouldn't drink just like that, and in such quantities, bringing yourself to such a state, and then going out in public, you're too protective of your na," a bottle appeared in Severus' hand, which he handed to the puzzled man, "Not poison."
In response, the house head of Slytherin nodded silently and, taking the potion, uncorked it. Inhaling the pleasant minty aroma, he raised an eyebrow with slight surprise, and then took a sip of the bottle with an embarrassed smile, draining it rather quickly.
And after a few seconds, the man's face turned slightly red, and his tired look slowly began to give in. He seed to be filled with energy all of a sudden.
"Thank you…"
"You're welco, so what happened to you?" taking out his wand, he made a light, circular motion towards Slughorn, whose clothes imdiately smoothed out, "And don't tell it's nothing serious. What if you got drunk…"
"Nothing serio…" but the man didn't finish, a little embarrassed and coughing into his fist a couple of tis, he said: "I just decided to have a little drink, and the wine turned out to be too strong…"
"Professor…"
Seeing that Severus didn't believe him at all, he beca even more embarrassed and after a few seconds his "cheerful" smile beca a little sad.
"I can't hide anything from you, but there's no secret about this either… my good friend passed away yesterday, so I…"
'Professor, drinking alone is bad form."
"Mister Prince, don't use my own statents against ."
"And also the first sign of alcoholism…"
"Mister…" he addressed him with a much sterner voice, but Snape continued "... you could have invited , I would have been happy to join you in such a "difficult matter."
Seeing his impudent smile, the professor for the first ti regretted that corporal punishnt had been abolished, because he really wanted to give him a slap on the back of the head for the fact that Snape was mocking and putting his house head in such an awkward position.
"About this potion that you gave …" he tried to change the subject of the conversation.
"My invention,"many tis better than the sobering potion we learned in sixth year. In addition to the fact that it sobers up, like the usual one, it also fills the body with energy and removes all external and internal signs after drinking alcohol, and if you add a cleaning charm, then you can get rid of all the "evidence" altogether," he calmly explained, pretending not to notice the attempt to change the subject.
"This is amazing..." the potion master said with undisguised admiration, "If I am not mistaken in the ingredients that you used to create it, then you will be able to earn tens... no! Hundreds of thousands of galleons! Severus, you really are a real genius!"
"I already did that, starting next week they will go on sale at the sa price as the sobering potion," he answered as if it were a matter of course, and then, slightly squinting, added: "Professor, I heard out of the corner of my ear recently that you were seen with a bouquet of flowers, near the dical wing…"
"Ahem! Ahem! Ahem by the way, how are you preparing for your defence at NEWTs?" as if nothing had happened, he asked in a calm voice, "If you have any questions, ask!"
"Oh…" the Prince's smile beca even more playful, and his eyes turned into two slits, from which sweat naturally ran down the professor's face.
'How?! How could he have found out about this?! I checked everything to make sure no one was around at that mont!'
"I approve of your choice, although she is quite strict, she is a very kind woman and makes amazing tea, but I do not advise you to drink alcohol, if you still decide to hit on Madam Pomfrey, but …" the cheeky smile of the "boy", to Slughorn's amazent, trembled, from which he felt sothing was wrong and carefully asked: 'But ...?"
"Two months ago, one sixth-year was brought to our dical wing, who during Halloween, went to Hogsade and got so drunk that he could no longer walk ... I have never seen her so angry ... but the Gryffindor, in my opinion, got off easy, just a bucket enema, with the largest nozzle I have ever seen…". from this story, the professor's whole body shrank below the belt, and his face instantly lost all color, "... and imagine if I had not been there? So if you want to get a woman like that, I wouldn't recomnd you drink, otherwise you'll wake up one morning and…"
"Enough! Let's close this topic," he quickly rattled off, taking out a silver pocket watch and looking at the ti, "Oh! I've been talking too much with you, I think I'll go to breakfast, and then I'll have to et Professor Flitwick...!"
"Oh, of course, enjoy your al, Professor, if you need any advice, ask," with a "good-natured" smile, he followed the back of the running man, while barely holding back his laughter and only after Slughorn disappeared around the corner, Severus chuckled out loud and turned around, already in a much more elevated mood, putting his hands behind his head, continued his way towards the living room.
"You didn't tell this story," Nagini's slightly sleepy voice sounded, sticking out from under her robe.
"Because I made it up," poking her in the muzzle, he continued his way under the displeased snort of the snake, which crawled back, "But only half."
"How so?"
"Such an incident did happen, but it happened without an enema, but when I read her thoughts, I learned that if I hadn't been there, he would have definitely lost his virginity in one place…" he shuddered when he rembered what he had seen, and a certain wizard would not open one particular cabinet even under threat of death.
