He looked at Mrs. Fu and said slowly, "If you want to win her back, then tomorrow’s news will feature the headline ’Eldest Young Master of the Fu Family Steals Yan Family’s Son’s Fiancée’ as a hot topic."

Mrs. Fu’s expression stiffened, sensing the threat in his words, and she remained silent for a mont.

Fu Yanhe’s gaze was heavy as he looked at Mrs. Fu, playing with Shen Yanhe’s hand, and said, "Grandma, if you called back today just to set up with Xia Ran, then I’m not eating this al."

Mrs. Fu had called him back today, not just to set him up with Xia Ran; there were more important matters at hand.

Her face very grim, she looked at Fu Yanhe and was about to say sothing but stopped abruptly upon noticing Shen Yanhe beside him, swallowing her words.

Mrs. Fu closed her eyes briefly and said sternly, "Go back to your room and rest, and don’t co out until it’s ti to eat."

After finishing, she ignored the two of them and turned to instruct the butler to bring Xia Ran back.

Fu Yanhe didn’t bother with her, holding Shen Yanhe’s hand as San Fang and Wu Fang wheeled them to the guest room of the old mansion.

Shen Yanhe adjusted his slightly stifled mood and glanced at the guest room, looking at Fu Yanhe in confusion, "Don’t you have your own room in the old mansion?"

Generally, grandsons and granddaughters would have rooms prepared for them in the old mansion.

So why did Fu Yanhe have to stay in a guest room when he ca to the old mansion?

Fu Yanhe’s movent in controlling the wheelchair paused slightly, and he lowered his gaze, "No, I didn’t grow up in the old mansion, so naturally, there is no room for here."

Shen Yanhe did not doubt him and nodded in understanding, "Do you want to rest for a while?"

"No, I still have so work to do." Fu Yanhe took out a tablet from the black bag carried by Wu Fang, "There’s still ti before the al, you can lie down and rest or play so gas."

Shen Yanhe nodded obediently, climbed onto the bed to lie down, and skillfully edited his next video on the screen during this ti.

The two of them, one lying in bed with a phone, the other sitting at the desk dealing with docunts; although they did not speak, the atmosphere was incredibly warm.

After a while, Shen Yanhe finished the task at hand and, as usual, sent it to the sponsor via an alternate account, receiving his first paynt for the day.

Just after getting the money, his phone suddenly vibrated; a ssage from a contact with a black avatar nad "Su Qi" popped up.

"Su Qi": Sister, sister! It’s a crisis over here. I’ve got a variety show, and the director wants to invite a layperson to join. Can you help out?

anwhile, within a certain theater in Hengdian.

A man dressed in black traditional garnts, wearing a long-haired wig, with pale skin and handso features but a very cold deanor, was looking down at the ssage on his phone.

His indifferent black pupils held a faint hint of expectation.

Beside him, a young man in a suit cursed angrily, "That son of a bitch isn’t any good, just a wilderness survival show, and yet they require actors to bring laypersons! What nonsense!"

"Su Qi, really, what am I to say about you? Curse that damned scum all you want, it’s not like the big shot is going to lose a piece of flesh, but you had to go and fight with him."

"Now look what you’ve done. Apart from the script we are currently shooting and that show featuring that son of a bitch Yan Qi, we’ve got no other resources. Are you happy now?"

Su Qi remained silent, his gaze still on his phone, and when it vibrated, his eyes brightened as he carefully opened the conversation.

When he saw the two words sent by "V 50 for my revenge plan," the gleam in his eyes dimd instantly.

"V 50 for my revenge plan": Who are you?

Su Qi looked up at the young man in the suit with a desolate expression, and said glumly, "Le Feng, the big shot has forgotten ; she’s asking who I am."

The agent Le Feng was montarily stunned, snatched the phone from Su Qi’s hand to check, "You want to invite the big shot to participate in a wilderness survival show as a layperson?"

"Yeah." Su Qi nodded gloomily, lowering his gaze, "Everything I have today was given to by the big shot, and I want to repay her."

Su Qi used to be just a poor boy who liked to sing, often performing in bars to support his family.

One day, Su Qi saw a girl being harassed by a drunkard in the bar. He stepped forward to help the girl, but ended up in a conflict with the drunkard and was nearly beaten to death.

It was at that ti that he t the deity who also worked in the bar.

The deity saved his barely breathing self, learned that he wanted to sing, wrote a few songs for him, and got him discovered by a talent scout, who brought him into the entertainnt industry.

He was pushed to audition, debuted, and gradually beca a highly sought-after singer.

All of this was inseparable from the deity.

Knowing that the deity needed money, he offered lucrative paynts for songwriting, but the deity refused, only charging him the market price.

So, when he learned that this wilderness survival show could invite amateurs, he imdiately thought of the deity.

But he hadn’t expected that after so long without contact, the deity had forgotten him...

-

As Su Qi was being emotional, Shen Yanhe put down her phone, rubbed her slightly sore eyes, and thought about "Su Qi".

She rembered that she had indeed dabbled in songwriting for a while when she was bored, even writing songs for a young brother nad Su Qi.

But, it had been more than half a year since their last contact.

She had no intention of entering the entertainnt industry now, so she didn’t dwell on it.

Rubbing her eyes, Shen Yanhe’s gaze involuntarily fell on Fu Yanhe, who was seriously dealing with docunts.

The man seated at the desk had a calm deanor, his dark-as-ink pupils reflecting the light of the tablet, his slender, attractive hands sorted through the docunts Wu Fang brought, occasionally signing a few words.

A man engrossed in work indeed had a captivating charm of its own.

This charm had nothing to do with his face; relying solely on Fu Yanhe’s distinguished and calm deanor, Shen Yanhe thought it was no wonder that even after his disfigurent, there were still many won who wanted him.

As she watched, a wave of sleepiness ca over her, and Shen Yanhe closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Feeling the gaze on him disappear, Fu Yanhe, who was posing, slightly moved his body and looked up towards the bed.

Fu Yanhe looked at that exquisitely soft, pale face and suddenly rembered the day in the car when she had leaned forward to kiss him.

He swiftly averted his gaze as if burnt, his delicate throat slightly moving as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

After a while, as if possessed, Fu Yanhe put the docunts he was holding on the desk and carefully got into bed to lie down.

Shen Yanhe felt the heat source next to her, moved slightly, rolled unconsciously, and rolled into Fu Yanhe’s arms, her head nuzzling against his neck and then staying still.

Feeling the warm, soft touch in his arms, Fu Yanhe stiffened and did not dare to move.

He looked down at the soft, pale cheek so close to him, carefully held her in his arms, and closed his eyes to sleep.

When Shen Yanhe was awakened by the sound of knocking, she felt that she was nesting in a warm place.

She moved slightly and felt a large hand resting on her waist, and she was curled up in Fu Yanhe’s arms, facing him, resting on his hand, not knowing for how long.

Shen Yanhe: "..."

She rembered that when she fell asleep, Fu Yanhe hadn’t yet gotten into bed.
