Fu Yanhe watched the USB drive in her hand with neither sadness nor joy.

Liu Fang and Gu Yingxi exchanged glances.
Unable to hold back, Liu Fang asked Fu Yanhe, "Chief, where did this USB drive co from?"
The tent was filled with silence, Fu Yanhe covering Shen Yanhe’s ears, his eyes closed, resting.
Gu Yingxi: "..."
Gu Yingxi, touching her forehead in exasperation, said, "Forget it, he only has eyes for his junior sister right now. Let’s go outside and plug the USB drive into a computer to see."
The two left the tent.

On the bed lay a girl who appeared to be only fifteen or sixteen years old, her limbs bound to the bed.
Her body was red all over, like an overripe tomato, crying out in agony.
The surrounding people were taking notes on paper: "Subject 009 reacting negatively to B98 injection, body showing rejection..."
Xiang Ling’an stepped forward abruptly, incredulously saying, "Is this, this surveillance footage from the laboratory?"
Watching the girl in the video eventually stop struggling, her face filled with despair as she breathed her last, Gu Yingxi felt a sinking feeling in her heart. "Yes."
