Shen Yingying had hired professionals today to investigate the personnel involved in Shen Huai’s surgery.

Li Wei hadn’t expected to actually receive the money and beca incredibly excited, "Speak, what deal do you want to make with ?"
"I know that tomorrow you’ll assist a doctor in performing surgery on a patient nad Shen Huai," said Shen Yingying, her eyes filled with malice.
"I want you to find a way to make Shen Huai’s surgery fail tomorrow."
She intended for Shen Huai to die on the operating table.
Li Wei’s expression changed, "You, you want to kill soone? No, I can’t..."

Shen Yingying stepped closer to Li Wei, her voice full of seduction, "After it’s done, I’ll give you another five hundred thousand."

Shen Yanhe and Fu Yanhe got up early, washed up, had breakfast, then put on protective suits to cheer Shen Huai on.
Two hours before the surgery began, the entire surgical floor of the hospital was cleared.
Only Shen Yanhe, Fu Yanhe, Ye Min, and the bodyguards arranged by Fu Yanhe remained, while all other patients had been moved to other surgical departnts.
The surgery room underwent one final round of disinfection, and the nurses, wearing protective suits, perford one last ultraviolet disinfection before wheeling Shen Huai in first.
The lead surgeon rushed over with the assisting nurse, Li Wei closely following behind.
As she saw the burly n stationed at every lift and staircase, her heart skipped a beat, and a sense of unease arose, unconsciously squeezing the cockroach hidden in a plastic bag in her pocket.
Li Wei whispered to the chief doctor, Dr. Qiao, in a low voice, "Chief, who are Shen Huai’s family? What kind of background do they have?"
Dr. Qiao didn’t shift his gaze, whispering back, "Don’t ask. All you need to know is they co from a very powerful background, not soone you or I should provoke."
Li Wei’s anxiety deepened, hesitating slightly.
But thinking of the six hundred thousand, she still didn’t discard the cockroach in her pocket.
Dr. Qiao respectfully greeted Shen Yanhe and Fu Yanhe, "Miss Shen, Mr. Fu."
"Dr. Qiao, I’m entrusting my brother to you today," Shen Yanhe said as she stood up, extended her hand to Dr. Qiao, and shook his.

While the two exchanged pleasantries, Li Wei cautiously observed Fu Yanhe, her gaze circling his face, still marred by an unhealed scar.
She sneered to herself, thinking, What does it matter how important he is, he’s still a freak, not even worth a finger of her wealthy boyfriend.
She maliciously thought that the beautiful Miss Shen in front of her might have climbed into soone’s bed just because of her brother’s expensive dical bills.
She also thought about quickly getting rid of the burden that was Shen Huai.
Li Wei convinced herself that she had uncovered the truth, and gradually, her unrest dissipated.
After a brief exchange with Shen Yanhe, Dr. Qiao took Li Wei into the operating room, and just before entering, Li Wei turned to look back at Shen Yanhe with an expression that said she had seen through her.
This left Shen Yanhe sowhat puzzled, and she frowned, "What’s with that assistant nurse? She seems odd."
"Should we replace her?" Fu Yanhe asked softly, his gentle gaze landing on her.
"The surgery is about to start, let’s not replace her now," Shen Yanhe said, shaking her head as she sat down. "If Dr. Qiao brought her along, it ans she must be competent."
Fu Yanhe nodded slightly, "Hmm."
At that mont, Shen Yanhe had no idea that this decision would almost cost her her brother’s life.
The lights in the operating room ca on, and Ye Min, who had just made a nervous trip to the restroom, hurried back.
Her face sowhat pale, she sat down next to Shen Yanhe, her cold hand tightly clenching Shen Yanhe’s hand, "Has Xiaohuai’s surgery started yet?"
"It has started," Shen Yanhe allowed Ye Min to hold her hand, warming her with her own body heat, and soothed, "Grandma, don’t be afraid, Xiaohuai will be safe."
Ye Min nodded heavily, "Yes!" He will be safe.
He must be!
The bone marrow transplant surgery would take around six hours.
During these waiting hours, Ye Min was visibly restless, constantly pacing back and forth down the hallway.
As ti passed, even Shen Yanhe, who was trying to stay calm, began to feel anxious.
Her hands and feet turned cold, her heart thumped loudly, and she felt inexplicably panicky.
The quiet, waiting Fu Yanhe saw her looking a bit pale. His eyebrows slightly furrowed, he reached out to hold her hand, silently offering her support.
Four hours later.
The door to the operating room suddenly opened, nurses started running back and forth, and the area beca noisy.
Seeing nurses hastily running out to fetch dication and then dashing back, Ye Min’s heart nearly stopped beating.
She slumped to the ground, clutching her chest.
Alard by the change in Ye Min’s deanor, Shen Yanhe quickly stood up to support her, "Grandma."
"Has sothing happened to Ahuai?" Ye Min asked with difficulty, her eyes brimming with tears.
Shen Yanhe got up with a grave expression and rushed after the nurse, "Nurse, what’s happened to Shen Huai?"
"The patient Shen Huai has suddenly gone into shock during surgery; the doctor is doing everything possible to treat him. Please, family mbers, no need to worry," the nurse said hurriedly before turning to rush off for more dication.
Upon hearing this, Shen Yanhe’s face turned deathly pale, her limbs suddenly turned ice-cold, and her heartbeat intensified, her vision blurring.
"Sudden...shock?"
