Glug, glug, glug...
"So tired. If there were no space-based annihilation starships, the plan to indefinitely keep the Metal Destroyer outside the world wouldn’t be impossible, but unfortunately..."
Green’s initial plan was to use the Sky Mountain Marine World as a barrier, using his unparalleled power to indefinitely fend off the Metal Destroyer.
If it were to bat other civilizations, this method would be feasible, but against the Metal Destroyer civilization, which utilizes energy and the infinite microcosm and adopts a war mode of destroying the entire world, this thinking was obviously a bit too limited.
Surrounding him was polluted fluorescent green seawater, even the seabed was filled with craters of various sizes.
Countless wrecks of void motherships and space airships, floating debris of metal robots, and wizard corpses drifted. Due to the destruction of the microbial ecosystem after the great catastrophe, the lower plankton were missing; these wizard corpses were bleached and bloated by the fluorescent green seawater, yet showed no signs of decay, their eyes wide open, drifting into the unknown...
"Green, Green!"
A few dandelions found Green, manifesting into the spectral image of the Wandering Dandelion Stigmata Sorcerer, calling out to Green.
"Hm?"
Standing silently on the seabed, Green’s three-colored light eyes gazed at the Wandering Dandelion. In one breath, a hundred-meter vacuum region emanated around him, expelling the fluorescent green seawater.
"The Metal Destroyer has left. It has vacated this world. We’ve awaited reinforcements, and we’ve secured victory!"
The Wandering Dandelion laughed excitedly, a light, and easygoing smile, the dawn of victory after prolonged struggle.
"Hm."
Yet Green seemed unsurprised, and with a deep tone, said, "Let’s go."
Whoosh, whoosh...
The waves soared to the sky, and the Wandering Dandelions were already gone, leaving behind Green’s indistinguishable tiny figure.
"It’s the Oblivion Sorcerer!"
"The Stigmata Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower, those metal robots have retreated, we’ve won."
A multitude of wizards gathered around Green, each wearing a passionate and radiant smile, feeling light-hearted and joyful, awaiting Green’s mand, and weling the dawn of victory.
Green surveyed the scene, roughly estimating the remaining number of the Wizard Legion, about over three hundred thousand remained, which wasn’t many, but barely sufficient for Green, the Oblivion Stigmata Great Sorcerer, to use as a pretext for saving the Wizard Legion.
"Only when everyone returns alive to the Wizard World, is it considered a victory."
Green mumbled, as Xiao Ba suddenly appeared on his shoulder.
"Caw, caw, caw, which True Spirit has e over?"
Green’s three-colored light eyes, along with Xiao Ba, diligently watched the high sky.
The breach in the World’s Veil, pierced by the space-based annihilation cannon, had yet to heal. Ordinary beings couldn’t perceive its existence, but Green, with the Face of Truth as his perception aid, focused his three-colored light eyes on the world beyond.
It was...
Rumble! Rumble! Rumble! Rumble...
The space-based annihilation starship pletely overshadowed Green’s sight, but he could still, through the Face of Truth, sense the energy fluctuations—a black and white energy dot line pattern—which inferred that a colossal entity was directly battling the space-based annihilation starship.
"That’s impossible, if it’s the Eternal Sky City, its size would be at least ten to twenty times that of the space-based annihilation starship, and a space fortress has no capability of contending with a space-based annihilation starship. Hiss, could it be..."
Green’s gaze condensed.
"Sky City! Is the Eternal Sky City deposing? Impossible! Could it be an ancient remnant Sky City, similar to the Coffin of Hope lost in the Dimensional Esophagus, only needing to gather enough Sands of Time in front of the eternal mechanical clock and summon it with the Scepter of Hope? Or could it be that the Wizard World has restored the Sky City’s forging technology?"
Hm!?
Suddenly, Green sensed something else and turned his gaze towards that line on the horizon, the beam from a distant unknown place, locking onto the Sky Mountain Marine World, growing stronger.
Through its purest and most rampant light and heat, that vaporizing and obliterating will—if Green couldn’t identify it as the Star Orbit Cannon, he truly would’ve been clueless.
"Order the whole army to leave this world and join the reinforcements!"
Green didn’t hesitate any longer, roaring out loud, the majestic Wizard’s Will spread like waves, transmitting to every wizard present.
"Yes!"
"Order the whole army to leave the Sky Mountain Marine World and converge with the reinforcements!"
One by one, the wizards soared into the sky, loyally executing Green’s will.
The lower grade wizards effortlessly escaped through the rifts in the World’s Veil, while the higher Stigma Sorcerers worked together to tear open fissures, aiding the lone space fortress in escaping this world; pared to invasion, leaving the world’s interior was undoubtedly much easier.
With the Sky City and space-based annihilation starship fully engaged, they were no longer prioritized by the space-based annihilation starship, and there weren’t even any legions posted. These wizards easily departed the Sky Mountain Marine World.
Yet Green discovered a shadow lurking, peering over—Eskimo Metal Destroyer!
And its focus was precisely on the area where numerous Stigma Sorcerers were assisting in tearing the World’s Veil for the space fortress.
"One last time."
Green murmured to himself, nodding in sync with Xiao Ba on his shoulder. Xiao Ba, evidently already aware of Green’s plan, sighed, "The last bit of the Omnipotent Soul, it could be greatly useful in the future, what a pity."
"Ultimately, it’s merely expendable on the Path of the True Spirit."
Green soared into the sky, a layer of white shockwave trailing behind him, causing sonic booms that layered upon one another, with the world’s veil only briefly obstructing before he passed through it effortlessly.
Green stood in the void, beneath the space-based annihilation starship.
"I’ve been waiting for you! Oblivion Sorcerer Monster, since you love this world so much, bee one with it as it turns to ashes, you shall be the most beautiful fireworks in the Endless Void map!"
Indeed, the Eskimo Metal Destroyer turned its attention to Green, no longer eying the space fortress.
Rumble, rumble, rumble!
In a clash, the Annihilation Force entwined with the extreme abyss magic staff dissipated with the ice flowers filling the sky, the amber ring in his left hand shattered as the Eskimo Metal Destroyer retreated towards the metal continent base of the space-based annihilation starship, while Green, like a meteor, fell back toward the Sky Mountain Marine World.
"I am the Sixth Ring True Spirit Wizard, which Ancient Stigma might you be?!"
An immense, majestic will traversed the battlefield, inquiring of Green, with indescribable excitement, astonishment, incredulity, clearly shaken by Green’s resilience as a human wizard in opposing the Destroyer, stopping a full Metal Destroyer Guild Legion’s descent.
In the Wizard World, is there such a Stigma Sorcerer?
It must be an ancient wizard returning from wandering the Endless Void!
"Second Ring Holy Tower, Oblivion Tower."
Green briefly municated his intent, plummeting back into the Sky Mountain Marine World.
Thunk...
The beam had bee ever more brilliant, vaporizing everything, including the fluorescent green pollutants. It evaporated everything as it wholly destroyed this world.
"Hurry, hurry!"
Light and darkness converged, as under Green’s absolute control, they attempted to form a twisted Gate of Space-Time, leading randomly to a nearby unknown world.
Yet the formation speed of the Path of Oblivion was too slow, and that destructive beam on the horizon had expanded from an insignificant line to a diameter of several kilometers, drawing in everything with astounding speed, pletely vaporizing and deposing.
Even the Path of Oblivion, converging through light and dark, was being twisted.
Crack!
A crisp sound, the Star Orbit Cannon evaporating everything along its path, would utter no sound; this crisp sound was so abrupt, like a bolt from the blue to Green’s ears.
The shattering of the World’s Heart, this world was about to be utterly destroyed—a true apocalypse that the Wizard World too faced, dreading the day of its plete fracture!
"The final hope!"
The last stray of Omnipotent Soul ignited at the tip of Green’s battered extreme abyss magic staff. The surrounding twisted space-time also calmed, with a glance at the infinitely expanding white beam utterly vaporizing the entire world, Green plunged headfirst into the Path of Oblivion.
All around, a realm of darkness.
