Chapter 525: Healing Ti [IV]
Despite her presence near him, the unconscious dragon knight did not wake up at all. Elaina is a bit disappointed that the dragon knight did not even open his eyes. Did he really fell into coma after getting saved from his endless tornt?
Seeing that he is not showing any signs of waking up at all, Elaina got closer to the dragon knight and check his face. He seed to look more peaceful than he looks and although there were large eyebags on under his eyes, most likely due to the sleepless nights he has to endure to the pain pierced by the Dragon Slayer Spear.
"Poor guy, this must be his first true sleep after all these years of pain and suffering."
Elaina looked at his mouth. His lips is pale and the dry, probably since he have not drank any water ever since he managed to escape his cruel fate.
"Alright, guess it is ti to see how this dicine works and if it does any wonders."
Gently opening the Dragon Knight’s mouth, she put in the dicine to his slightly open mouth. He didn’t react as the dicine fell to his mouth. She slowly push his mouth to a close and she slowly backs away from him and observed his wounds. At first, Elaina seems to not see a single change. He still remained the sa. Elaina shrug as she thinks that the Dragon Knight’s dicine does not work imdiately.
But when she thought there will be no changes, the wounds on his chest starts to glow bright like there was a torch embedded inside that causes his chest to glow bright. Since it is already dark around, the bright glow is noticeable enough that she is not sure what is going on.
"Uh, can anyone care to explain what is happening?" Elaina is worried as she have not seen a single kind of healing process that would glow during the duration of the repairs.
"[Fascinating. I have seen these thods in the past but seeing it again like this takes
back in the past.]" the Goddess of dicine seed to be on her trip to mory lane as she is on the verge of reminiscing her experiences.
"[Yeah, yeah. No one cares, hurry up and explain it to Elaina instead of just getting derailed from your experiences. There are ti and place for everything and reminiscing is currently not the ti!]" the God of Farming interrupted her reminscing act.
"[Fine. This piece of crap...Anyways, that is a normal reaction on his body. Considering that Dragons are beings born with considerably high mana concentration on their body, whenever they ran out of mana, their body would glow whenever they receive external mana source that they would then absorb. The dicine you gave him is made of concentrated mana with a healing spell embedded inside it which would only activate if the right prerequisite is activated, which would suggest that a dragon should eat it, the dicine will start working while it will not have any effect if other species consus it. There is nothing to worry about it unless there is sothing that would happen along the way. Observe it and see if sothing did happen. About the bright light though, don’t worry about it.]" The Goddess of dicine explained with confidence.
Elaina decided to continue the observation process while also keeping her distance from the dragon knight. There’s no telling what he might do when he opens his eyes all of a sudden.
Like what the Goddess of dicine said, the light slowly stopped glowing after a few seconds and the wounds that the Dragon Knight have are mostly gone. The big hole made by the spear is mostly gone and only a small clot remains. It seems to continue healing though so it will soon disappear after a while.
Despite his healed wounds, he is still unconscious. Although it isn’t weird for him to remain asleep, Elaina thought that he would awaken after his wounds have healed a lot. It seems that he does need so sleep that is not necessary for his healing process but for the sake of just getting the sleep he needed. His breathing has also stabilized a lot, making his current situation, a lot more hopeful.
"[Don’t worry about him anymore, Elaina. He will survive. He just had to sleep. You have done your part, perhaps you should also rest as well.]" The Goddess of dicine suggested.
"Yeah, he is alright now. All we needed to do is wait for him to wake up. Best I go back ho to sleep and return tomorrow after this."
Her job is done and Elaina returned to the portal, not knowing that the Dragon Knight is already on the verge of waking up. She just didn’t notice his finger and eyelids twitching.

Elaina returned to the farm. It is already dark outside and in the kitchen, her children have just returned from their hunt and is currently eating dinner with Julia helping with the food preparation.
"Mom, I heard from Aunt Julia. It seems you are doing so work restoration huh? Have you eaten your dinner?" Arthur asked while he is stuffing his mouth with food.
"Arthur! Don’t talk while your mouth is full! Sorry about this, Mom, Arthur is just too hungry, don’t scold him," Raye pleaded.
Elaina chuckled and assures Raye. "Don’t worry. If he is hungry, he can do so, but make sure to not do it again. Talk while your mouth is empty, Arthur and make sure to properly chew your food."
Layla is also eating food but unlike before, she is now sharing her food with the baby dragon sitting on the table and is waiting to be fed by Layla. She have already embraced the identity of being a mother after the dragon decided to treat her as one.
She wonders what is the backstory of that Dragon Knight and why is he sealed within thr cave. The one thing Elaina is sure is that the problem will surely be solved soon and the soil of the Land of the Dead will be revitalized again.
