Chapter 510: Underwater Breathing Potion [III]
The seeds, contrary to their gelatinous shell, are hard and seem to resemble a walnut. She didn’t even know where the walnut even ca from; it just popped out of nowhere after she made sure to squeeze and make a good oomph to the gelatinous shell.
"Is this it?" Elaina asked as she picked the shell that sank to the bottom of the container she was using to wash the shell.
"[Indeed. Quite different in looks, no? I am honestly not sure what my father ate that ti to create a fruit like this. And get this, these seeds are what cause the "shrapnel" that bursts on the fruit if hurled with the intent of harming sothing or soone. It hurts since it was very hard for a seed. Looks like a walnut, as hard as a rock.]"
"I don’t know why it was nad a dynamite...it sounded like so sort of grenade if you asked ," Elaina scratches her head.
"[At that ti, grenades were not a thing, no? Father just made it based on the explosives humans used back then and decided he wanted to make sothing less dangerous but still painful and dangerous nonetheless. So yeah, don’t ask
too much about how the heck the design ca to fruition. It isn’t my idea.]" the God of Farming seems not to just didn’t care about the weird design at all. He is just a bit bewildered about what went through his father’s head when this fruit was made in the first place.
Elaina continued doing the whole thing once more, and a few more squeezes and four more seeds popped out. With that, she gained the seeds of the Gelatinous Dynamite Fruit, and it is now ready for the planting process.

The seed was simple enough and must be grown near a water source, which ans the stream itself is necessary. She asked the Harvest Goddess for permission and thankfully, she received it from her.
"You don’t have to ask for permission to use the land, you know, Elaina? This is your farm and we have been neighbors for long ti. I don’t think we needed to ask for permissions, no? Still nice of you to ask. So yeah, don’t worry and plant to your heart’s content. Might as well decorate the side of the stream and have so greenery grow there instead of keeping the place, barren."
Gaining permission from the Harvest Goddess easily, Elaina quickly planted each seed beside the stream and made sure to add the fertilizer that the Harvest Goddess made to ensure its fast growth and fast fruit-bearing process. And with that, all Elaina needed to do is wait.

With the most troubleso plant ready for usage, Elaina went to the clinic and visit Dr. Fey to buy saplings of herbs. When she arrived, there are plenty of people visiting Dr. Fey to ask for healing. Most of them are kids and majority of them have sniffling and running noses, and considering how kids loves playing outside, it is just a normal thing.
Elaina waited for a while as the stream of custors continued to receive their treatnt and it didn’t take long for the long line to finally vanish. That also made Dr. Fey sigh in relief as Maria finished the final touches and the paperwork for the patients was finally processed. Dr. Fey then approach Elaina and sat beside her.
"Sorry about that, Miss Elaina. I never expected it would take that long for
to finish the process. Didn’t think that it would take that long to finish, though," Dr. Fey is apologetic.
"No worries. Considering that I arrived here without an appointnt, it is fine. I didn’t know this ti was the clinic’s pri ti."
"Nah, not really. The surge of children having colds is just on the rise lately and considering how the snow arrived and many little kids who have yet to experience snow have finally experienced it this season, many of them have gotten cold. So yeah, you just arrived when the custors decided to surge here for so reason. Anyways, enough chatting. I don’t want to take up your ti. Are you here for a checkup, or are you here to buy so dicine?" Dr. Fey quickly reverted to her professional gait.
"I am here for dicine. More specifically, your dicinal herbs. I heard from my brother not too long ago that you have started selling dicinal herbs and so saplings instead of selling potions and regular dicines yourselves," Elaina inquired.
"True, Miss Elaina. We started supplying herbs recently. Since there are not that many people who sell herbs in the market and the demand is rising, I decided to ask the Apothecary Guild to grant
permission to sell so in my clinic, and they soon approved, allowing
to sell both saplings and their dicinal parts, like roots, stems, or leaves, to the custors."
"That’s good to know. I would like to see if you have these dicinal herbs in stock. Specifically, the saplings that I want to plant and harvest. I needed lots of them in a short ti," Elaina said as she handed over the list of the ingredients she needed.
Dr. Fey nodded and read the needed saplings and smiled. "You are in luck, Miss Elaina. I just received a stock not too long ago with these specific herbs. These herbs are quite fast to be sold, so you are lucky to have arrived when the stock just arrived."
"Thanks, I will buy them."
"Alright, please wait for a mont, and I will be getting them."
Dr. Fey asked Maria for help, and the two picked the saplings of each herb and handed to Elaina. Elaina imdiately put it inside her dinsional storage bag and paid the price for each sapling before bidding farewell to everyone and returning to the farm with all the remaining ingredients for the Underwater Breathing Potion in her hand.

With all the ingredients in hand, Elaina decided to test herself on how to create the potion. This ti, Yona and Julia are there to help out with the potion brewing process. Since it is the first ti they are going to be making the potion, the two also wanted to see how it is made and the process of making it.
"Wow, Sis! I didn’t know you know about extracting the liquid of that fruit that my Master gave to you without causing it to beco corrosive!" Julia was surprised when she saw the end result of the Gelatinous Dynamite fruit already on its liquid form and ready for use.
"Of course, it might not be common but I have handled these before. It was just because it has been a long ti ago before I did it though," Elaina smiled though she can’t tell Julia that she has no prior knowledge about it until not too long ago. She can’t just reveal that the God of Farming gave her the background and how to do it in the process while also relying on the Almanac to check its real na and real properties.
"It’s very fascinating that the sll of the liquid slls like it is so kind of honey and yet it isn’t as viscous as honey and it looks more like regular water," Yona said while observing the liquid.
"Careful with that Yona, it might beco corrosive in the process for all we know. It would be dangerous if it suddenly spills and corrode the surrounding area in the process," Julia warns.
"Don’t worry, the liquid only gets corrosive if disturbed while the shell it once had enscased of would be in the sa area. That is the only ti it gets corrosive. If it is already off the shell, it isn’t going to beco one no matter how much one stirs the liquid," Elaina smiled as she puts the other ingredients to the table.
"Oh? Good to know. I would have been more cautious on handling the liquid if that was the main case."
Julia nodded in agreent. "Sa here. I would have been wondering if the water of that fruit becos safe only if it becos potion, didn’t know it had that kind of gimmick in the first place."
"Well then, how about we try and brew this now, will you girls help?"
"Yes!" The two enthusiastically nodded.
And so, the two began their preparations for the potion. Thanks to the concise instructions that the recipe the Grand Sage gave to Elaina, the process was smooth as a butter for them. It was like brewing regular potions, just has more ingredients and more process just to make it mix well together. It didn’t take them that long until the final brewing stage of the potion has finally arrived and they only waited for the potion to cool down. By the ti the process ended, the potion is also complete, shining brightly with its glistening blue color.
"I thought it would be very complicated, but that was honestly pretty easy. Perhaps the only hard part was preparing the gelatin fruit. Other than that, everything was rather too easy," Yona smiled as she look at the end product.
Elaina pick up the bottle of the potion and looked at the two. "It’s ti for testing soon. Let’s see how this works."
