Chapter 302: Failing Miserably
Freshness and Quality.
These two are the main things that the Market looks for in a product. Thanks to the previous leader which is the King of Darcero Kingdom, this policy persisted even when her first daughter, Princess Tabatha took over as the main head of the Market and prospered the business as the leading group to supply and buy the goods that the farrs needed. Thanks to this, the farrs can freely buy various supplies that they will need in their farm or ranch from various stores without worrying about getting scamd for the quality, while also being able to sell and supply the goods that the Market sells to the regular custors like the commoners and nobles.
Since freshness and quality matter, the higher the quality and the fresher the goods are delivered, the higher the prices the goods are sold, allowing them to earn more on what they previously used as capital for their business. Thanks to this, the farrs and ranchers who supply goods are quite happy and satisfied. If their goods fetch low prices, that must an they did poorly or the goods are not fresh enough, allowing them to know what their goods are being treated as.
This policy and technique was sothing the rchants that ca from the Luminiera Kingdom realized.
Despite them doing business in the Darcero Kingdom, they have not done any selling on the Market as they have their own group which was the business and trading company that Elaina’s parents run. Because they are loyal to them, they didn’t use the Market and utilize them to their fullest potential. They only sell outside of the Market’s jurisdiction.
Because Luminiera Kingdom does not limit or even ban rchants who do not comply with the Market, these rchants gather around. Most of the ti, these rchants gain custors by offering low prices compared to the market, which makes it an affordable choice for various consurs but in exchange, they also sacrifice the quality and freshness of what they buy. If they buy in the market, they can guarantee how fresh they are with a single glance.
Happiness.
That should be the mood of the Head rchant after the trouble he is posing to the owner of the farm, which caused them to be banned alongside the others just because they hail from the Luminiera Kingdom. They knew the owner was the forr empress of the kingdom, but so what? She was a forr empress, and she no longer held a title that could boost herself. She is now a commoner with a farm to tend to.
But because they fail to consider how the market works, even though they have offered their goods in exchange for the goods that Elaina provide as a ans to stop her supply from coming, it ended up as the butt of the joke as their goods ended up as a worse version of what Elaina would even supply. At first, they didn’t understand why the staff seed to snicker every ti they offered a bribe and their goods altogether until a few days later when they found that the crates they had been supplying to the Market containing the goods that were supposed to replace Elaina’s goods to be seen loaded and are fed to the pigs.
The rchants recognized the crates due to the exclusive trademark logo present on their crates and considering that the only people they shared these crates were the market, seeing them being disposed of by a farr and seeing their produce being used as pig feed is sothing that they didn’t anticipate.
"Did that farr’s goods used for feeding pigs?!" the Head rchant angrily grits his teeth as he asks his secretary.
"No sir. According to the reports, her goods are one of the top sellers in the market and one of the well-sought products that many look for. Even those people who have only bought the leftovers can say that their produce is sothing that is worth the prize even if they are a bit of low quality.
"Then why the hell is our produce that should be used as replacent for those goods are being used as Pig food?! Do they really think we won’t notice when all of our goods have the logo of our rchant group?!"
His secretary couldn’t say anything and just looked away. He has no idea how to quell the anger of his boss. But just as he thought that his boss wouldn’t get angrier, he was mistaken when one inforr appeared and talked to his boss.
"Head rchant! I got so bad news and bigger bad news..."
"All bad news?! F*CK! What is it?! I don’t care what kind of bad news it is!"
"Well, the bad news is that it seems that the produce we distributed to the Market was marketed and sold there as "Pig food" and "Rejects
