Chapter 214: Mastery Blessings

"Huff...it seems this is the best ti to stop with my current work. It is also getting late," Elaina said as she muttered while looking at the Almanac and its current ti. It’s not showing her the exact ti but she can tell what ti is it since the morning to afternoon ti on the almanac’s little map icon has started to darken in color while the rest is the sa color.

She didn’t have any way to asure ti while they were inside the dungeon so she is trying to find the makeshift way to tell ti without heading outside and checking the position of the sun.

Elaina also glanced at her mastery level and so far, it managed to reach the second level she was looking forward to earning. She wanted to check its benefits right away but she decided to postpone that and do it back at ho with the comfort of the four walls and a roof over her head.

She made sure that the area where she tilled and sowed seeds was in good condition, watered, and in a peaceful condition. She bid farewell to the adventurers that she talked with earlier who were still outside and planning things out.

After getting their group to agree with her demand, she is looking forward to the partnership as well. Of course, if they survive that is. She didn’t bother to learn their nas as it is a hassle for rembering and she instead called all of them based on their class. Cleric, Swordswoman, Defender and Gunslinger. It might not be a very good naming sense, but it serves as an alias and it is a good to maintain neutrality in the business.

As for her Grandpa, he left much earlier and bid goodbye while she was still tilling the ground. She wondered what they discussed so far but she decided not to pry and overthink.

Leaving the dungeon after staying for quite so ti inside, she was then greeted with the cold weather outside. It wasn’t cold inside the dungeon so far, which must be due to the sun artifacts keeping the place warm so far but now that she has returned, the cold truth imdiately slaps her face.

"Ugh... it’s so chilly..." Elaina’s body shook a bit before she crushed the red stone in her palm left the dungeon and returned ho to rest. Despite her outfit warming her up, the weather is just extre enough for her to forget she was wearing one.

On the way ho, people are now up and about on the streets. The snow has finally been cleared out by the people and is now accessible for other people again. Despite being winter, things are still pretty much active so far and that is good to know. Still with the cold perating through her clothes, Elaina couldn’t admire the town’s ambiance too long and decided to hurry on ho.

...

...

...

"Ah, welco ho Miss Elaina," Princess Margaux smiled who is currently warming up on the fireplace while having her blanket around her body to cover herself.

"Welco back, Sis. Looks like you are tired, here is so hot soup I made," Julia smiled as she put a bowl of piping hot soup. From the looks of it, it is a fish soup. She used one of the frozen fish that is currently preserved in the container. Indeed a perfect timing since she also feels hungry and cold after a hard day’s worth of work.

"Looks like you are busy today, Master," Even Princess Tabatha is hanging out with them at the mont.

"Welco Princess, didn’t know you would visit today," Elaina said as she removed her coat and hung it to the rack before heading to the table to eat.

"Currently have an extra ti so I decided to visit. It is too boring at ho and the castle doesn’t have much stuff happening. Besides, I like to play with Master’s kids and spend ti with them as well. It kinda reminds

of the ti when Margaux was still a wee bit of a baby.

"Sis!" Princess Margaux seems embarrassed.

"Hahaha, sorry about that," she chuckled before she started sipping on the coffee.

Elaina gave thanks to the gods before she started eating the soup and sipping it, elevating her temperature to warm as she enjoyed the taste.

The girls have their private ti talking and enjoying the atmosphere as they enjoy each other’s company until evening arrives. It took them so ti before everyone dispersed. Princess Tabatha left after a while to rest at ho soon while Princess Margaux and Julia headed to their respective rooms to also rest as well.

Elaina pushed their cribs to her room after she breastfed both of them. She will be finally free from work and she can finally have ti to rest.

"Alright, now that everything is quiet now, let’s see and check this new mastery bonus so far. I want to see the bonus that I receive for my hard work."

She turned on the heater of the room to an appropriate level, enough for moderate warmth that would not be bad for the babies but warm enough to fend off the coldness of winter. Once that was done, she changed to more comfortable clothes and lay down on her bed as she opened the Almanac.

"Let’s see here...hope I don’t get disappointed."

"[Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed. It’s not like I added sothing random there just to fill it up.]" the God of Farming reasoned out.

"Hmm..." Elaina nodded as she continued to browse and read properly.

Flipping through the pages, it seems the blessings from the recent mastery level up have indeed added a few pages detailing the buff she gained after she leveled the mastery to an appropriate level.

The mastery level is currently located in farming which is understandable enough since she has been doing farm work indeed since morning.

On the page is not so long list of buffs activated and a bit of explanation to each of them.

-----

Mastery Benefits Level 2:

Farming Category

(All of the lists here are activated passive and are applied automatically the mont the user owned the buffs)

-Increased maximum stamina before exhaustion.

-Increased proficiency in handling plants (planting, harvesting, and creating seeds or shrubs). Can now produce a dium-quality crop upon harvest without the need for fertilizer.

-Increased tool proficiency during farming. Tools will be less exhausting to use and so actions will not consu stamina while harvesting or planting crops and trees.

-increased chances that crops or plants personally planted will produce twice the amount of produce they should have. Has a 3% chance of triggering.

----

Elaina was surprised to see all of the blessings that she had obtained from good buffs. Not only they will benefit her too much from farming, but they will also reduce her problems and her fatigue while working as well.

"What the heck, this is too good. Less exhausting usage of tools and increased max stamina are all good to get but having these increased chances of producing dium quality crops without the need to rely on fertilizers are great!"

"[See what I an? They are not that broken to the point it will trivialize farming but they enhance your experience and help you with your problem with the increased workload as well.]" The God of Farming sounded proud of himself.

"Yes. It isn’t too strong of a buff, but they are not sothing simple either! Although two of them are reliant on luck, they can still happen by chance and it can happen anyti which is a great thing as that will be a good surprise even for !"

"[Good that you understand. But rember Elaina, this is just the first level up you received.]"

"Yes, you are right."

Elaina smiled at the prospects of the next levels of the masteries as well. The task isn’t easy to achieve but it isn’t impossible either and once reaching those milestones will allow Elaina to reap all of the rewards from the hard work. It’s not an instantaneous reward and she likes it. After all, it felt like she was being rewarded for working hard as well.

"[Now you understand why I needed to increase the threshold of the masteries and made you do all of the work. If you achieved those things much earlier because you earned it fast enough in just one cycle of a job, it doesn’t feel rewarding and more like you are being encouraged to work less instead. With how most of the buffs slowly trivialize the hard work on the farm, knowing you, you will imdiately complain to

about this system I designed.]"

"Yeah. I can even see myself doing that if I have received this much sooner without effort. Getting these kinds of mastery is worth working hard for."

Learning about this, Elaina smiled and closed the Almanac.

"Are the other masteries also working with the sa buffs?" Elaina asked.

"[So do, but they are not identical in effect. I prefer you think of them as blessings I shared with you for a job well done. After all, you have indeed done a fine job yourself.]"
