Chapter 179: The Goddess of dicine and Apothecary
Grim. The situation is grim and not ideal. In ancient tis, there were so cases of dark situations where the royal family was exposed to danger due to the sches of other people who were aiming to take the throne by force or by pure eloquent words that swayed the masses and perford a rebellion. In this case, it seems that instead of doing the two, the perpetrator decided to use another ans.
"So the Young Duke decided to reveal his true colors after we realize his true intentions. Talk about rushing to the end, huh?" Elaina scratches her head. It seems that they will be entangled in another major plot point that she didn’t even intend to join in.
"What are we going to do? Sooner or later, the Young Duke might reveal that our parents are petrified and are no longer qualified to work as royalty. And seeing that he attacked my sister as well, it ans he is already assuming that I am the only one left from the line of royalty left to rule. That must an..." Princess Margaux can feel the danger in the upcoming days.
"Indeed. Since you will not be complying with his words, I can tell that he will either eliminate you in the sa process or kidnap you. I am not going to forgive him for this," Princess Tabatha clenches her fists in anger.
"So what are your plans? Things will surely not be favorable to any of us considering that the Young Duke will surely send so of his n to attack," Julia asked.
"As much as we wanted to move away to avoid letting you guys into the conflict, I don’t think that this farm is now out of the eyes of the Young Duke. From his perspective, the farm is helping us two to remain hidden and safe from his influences, which ans he will also try to do so shady business in the future."
Elaina grinned when she heard about this. "Shady business? Haha, if they think that I am that easy to fall into the dark side of the business, they have not experienced how it feels to be exploited by their sches. Just let them try and I will make sure they will regret crossing paths with ."
She might be pregnant and look helpless and innocent but she is far from gullible. And if they think they are much more capable in business, perhaps crossing with her will be the most brutal thing they will ever experience.
"I am not worried about the security of the farm. With the guards guarding the periter of the farm, the Shadow Ops that are on constant surveillance and shadow work, their work will be less of a nuisance for us. The only thing left for
to think of is how to remove the petrification that our parents currently have."
Princess Margaux looked at Elaina after hearing about the removal of Petrification.
"Miss Elaina? Just how did you manage to remove my sister’s petrification? I saw you do sothing that made all of those stone features my sister had to disappear in a flash."
Before Elaina could say anything, Julia imdiately answered the question.
"Well, it is one of my trial dicine. It is still unconfird if it will work on people who have been petrified already but it does work on those people who are partially petrified. At the mont, I am still tweaking the dosage of the dicine and adjusting how it works. Seeing how it imdiately worked for your sister, I had to make sure that it would not be so destructive in the process."
While Julia is explaining things to Princess Margaux, the gods are seemingly busy at the mont when soone from the other gods suddenly barges into the area where the three gods supervising Elaina are currently gathered and observing the events.
"[Hey, I just learned that one of you gods has made so new stuff that did not catch my attention at first. But after learning that the item can cure petrification and other status ailnts, I think I should be involved in this one more. Now, who is it from you three?]" the goddess who barged in suddenly demanded the person who created the fruit.
The one who entered is the Goddess of dicine and Apothecary. She looks so scholarly in her outfit and she wears a white long robe that covers her body. The big glasses that she wears are sothing that she finds to like after seeing humans wear one after so ti in their lives once they follow the path of research. She keeps her brown hair short in length, around the length that is long enough to reach her neck as a way to keep her hair from any sort of chemicals she handles. Her sll also has a distinct sll of different dicinal herbs and different kinds of dicine, but it wasn’t a bad sll, it is just distinct enough that anyone who can sll it will know that she is the one who is coming.
Despite being known as a benevolent goddess for giving humans the ability to cure themselves of ailnts, she has so flaws that so gods find to be annoying and troubleso to handle which is so innate to her that even calm and kind gods will find her hard to tolerate.
"[What is it, Goddess of dicine? As much as we wanted to entertain you, we are not that much of an entertainer. But since you are looking for the one who made that fruit, then it was
which is obvious since the others are not aligned to make those as they are beyond their expertise.]" The God of Farming stood up from his seat and faced the newly arrived goddess.
"[As suspected. Well, I am not surprised. However, why are you stealing the job that I am doing? Shouldn’t you stick to your current job at developing normal crops? Why are you suddenly dabbing in the dicine area? You are not even soone who is in the realm of dicine and Apothecary like I did!]" the Goddess protested.
"[Huh, and its my problem now? Damn, didn’t know making new things to help and alleviate problems to the human race is now sothing that I shouldn’t even dabble with. But so what? All I did was create a fruit that would help out with those aforentioned troubles and that would allow humans to be able to use them to cure their ailnts without trouble. What seems to be the problem with that?!]"
"Well, obviously, you are stealing the work that I should be doing!]"
Hearing this reasoning, the God of Farming started laughing as he mockingly looked at the Goddess of dicine and Apothecary.
"[Ha! Stole your work? From the looks of it, shouldn’t you feel grateful that I helped you out with a work that you are stumped to work with? For how many human years and God years has it been since you have done your last dicine and you didn’t made any follow-up to any sort of dicine nowadays? I don’t think you are working on your new dicine in that prestigious lab of yours.]"
"[Whu...?!]"
"[Admit it, how difficult is it to make a dicine that could cure those ailnts in one go without any problem? If I can do it without the expertise related to dicine or even apothecary, then so should you.]"
