Chapter 164: Dungeon Pot

After lunchti and everyone returned to work, Elaina grabbed a few gold coins from the gold chest to start checking out the selections of the Wandering rchant. As Elaina is getting ready, the God of Farming notifies Elaina.

"[Hey Elaina, rember the seed you got from your grandfather?]"

"Yeah? What about it?"

"[How about you ask the Wandering rchant about it? Since he tackles and sells items both legal and illegal that are either rare or one-of-a-kind, he must have so idea on what that seed was, perhaps?]"

"Are you sure it would be alright for us to reveal that casually to others? Wouldn’t that cause trouble if this seed is leaked to others?"

"[Well, if that happens then it was indeed our problem for doing so. But shouldn’t the Wandering rchant be able to keep deals a secret? After all, the little man does so shady things himself. And there is no other person we can ask for this matter.]"

"What about your fellow gods? Surely, they would have sothing to do with this seed’s conception, yes?"

"[I tried asking so of them, especially those who have a close relationship to their abilities and specialties as gods to so unique plants like the goddess of dicine but they all denied having made sothing like that. So even on my end, I have nothing to tell you about it. So I suspect that the seed you have right there is either made by soone or it is sothing that is created by other beings that are not gods so soone who has deep knowledge of sothing related to artifacts and old relics might have so idea of what those seeds to begin with.]"

Elaina thought for a mont. If what the God of Farming said is true, then their only option to know the seed’s usage is to ask soone who knows about relics and other stuff.

"Well, it doesn’t hurt to try and ask him about this then."

With the convincing of the God of Farming, Elaina grabbed the little seed and brought it with her as she made her way to the little carriage of the wandering rchant.

"Hihihi, welco, dear custor. Looks like you got a good haul of money with you today eh? Ready to do so shopping spree?" the Wandering rchant asked, seemingly smiling inside the dark interior of the carriage.

"We will see, depending on what selections you may have, then I might be buying more."

"Hihihi, well, in that case, have a look at this catalog I made to ensure that shopping is easy and comfortable for all of our guests and custors," out of nowhere, the wandering rchant pulled out the catalog that he was talking about inside the carriage which seems like he pulled it out from where his body from and handed it to Elaina.

Elaina thinks it is kind of weird the way he pulls it out of his body but she didn’t bother to question that. Whatever entity was inside the carriage, Elaina didn’t want to know.

With the ledger on her hand, she opened it and the contents were soon revealed. Just like how the Ledger works, the catalog works the sa. The only thing that is not present on the catalog is the purchase button like how the ledger does it. Other than that, the catalog works exactly like the ledger.

There are plenty of expensive relics and artifacts for sale that is currently available for purchase. A few of them are labeled as ’sold’ but most of them are still available in different quantities.

Not only that but cursed items are also present to be purchased as well. Elaina has no idea how the cursed item works but she is not crazy enough to even try it out.

After checking soti, Elaina ca with a few relics that are valuable and usable for every day life and work in the farm.

----

They are quite expensive but Elaina thinks that they are useful, especially the ring of Protection. Wearing it could grant them immunity and as long as it won’t be a lethal thing, they are safe from any harm.

Despite the excessive gold Elaina forked out, she thinks that everything was worth it as all of them are useful and not just sothing that she would just by because it looked pretty. All of them have function.

"Hihihi, thanks for the purchase as always, Dear Custor! Next ti, we will bring more amazing things that might catch your eye."

"Wait, wait. Before you go, can I ask a question? If it has a fee, then I don’t mind as long as it isn’t expensive."

"Hihi, sure, sure. What is it?"

"I got this seed a few days ago. But we have no idea on what this seed is and what does it grow into. We wanted to ask soone who has expertise on it but even him have no idea what it is."

"Hrmmmm... Let

see that seed, shall we?"

Elaina hand over one piece of the seed to the rchant. He started to inspect the seed on his hand with great detail that he has to even use a magnifying glass. After soti, he stopped looking at it and seriously looked at Elaina. This ti, his signature laugh is nowhere to be found.

"I needed 1000 gold for the information. Although I would charge you a much higher fee for asking information, I decided that 1000 gold should be enough as you are a loyal custor who buys our goods whenever you get the chance."

Elaina grits her teeth after hearing the price. 1000 gold for information was big but if he has the information they need then this money shouldn’t be a problem at all and would be considered as cheap change.

"Fine, that is a deal. So what is it?"

"What you have here is a dungeon crop seed."

"Dungeon crop?" Elaina frowned.

"It’s natural for you to not hear about Dungeon crops as they are only seen to grow and thrive in dungeons. They are very rare so finding one in a dungeon is considered as a miracle to many especially if you are one of the adventurers exploring on a dungeon, " The wandering rchant explained.

"Is this a crop that exclusively grows in dungeons then? Of even adventurers are looking for this crop, it must be a very big deal."

"More than a big deal. Getting a dungeon crop is sotis the only thing that separates you and your upcoming death in the dungeon. Eating one will help you recover from any sort of wounds that you recieved from the battle and even severed limbs that only happened recently can also be either reattached or regrown into a new one. If one doesn’t have any wounds and consus it, they will receive random blessings that they will be able to use for a few days before it completely disappears."

"And this seed is one of them?" Elaina frowned while also feeling excited.

"Yes. This one is a dungeon seed. The only problem though is that you cannot plant it outside of the dungeon or on any soil like the massive soil you have in your fields. This plant will not grow at all."

Elaina frowned at hearing that. The seed sounds so amazing and yet it has restrictions to grow. And it can’t even be grown outside of a dungeon which is not going to be a good thing as the place is crawling with monsters.

"But I do have a solution to that. Here, take this Dungeon pot. A pot filled with dungeon soil that allows any kind of crops and plants to grow on it. Yes, including the Dungeon crop."

"Wait, wait. Are you expecting

to believe that this pot right here has the soil that cos from the dungeons? How can I believe that? Give

proof that this is indeed a soil from the dungeons and this isn’t just so random soil scooped out from sowhere and then got advertised as dungeon soil out of nowhere."

"I am giving that for free. And in exchange, if the Dungeon crop blooms and beco a real crop, then give

one of the seeds as a paynt for that pot, how about it?"
