Chapter 360: Back to School

The Veil’s End festival went down without a hitch, even in the capital nothing catastrophic happened. Not even a minor incident. Not unless you count drunken fights as an incident that is.

That said, the following morning, there were several people lying out cold on the streets when I ca out.

I simply slinked past any I ca across, making my way to a massage parlour that I’d heard about in passing so ti ago.

And I didn’t have to worry about making an appointnt beforehand because for the next couple of days it was first co first serve. Another thing I didn’t have to worry about was the fee also, since they would just open whenever they were fully staffed and ready for the next couple of days starting today.

Which luckily for , just so happened to be shortly after I arrived.

"Welco, I see that you’re up bright and early. That because you wanted a massage?" The woman opening the store asked with a cheery smile.

"Yup. Even went to bed earlier than everyone else. Not because of this though, this was decided on a whim when I got up." I affird with a nod.

Upon entering, I was greeted to the sight of a pristine white tiled room that slled vaguely of lemons and incense.

I was then ushered deeper into the facility where I would receive my free massage and a complintary spa bath afterwards.

I entered a room where a lady awaited . She bowed and asked

what kind of massage I wanted. I replied just a basic one to help with stress.

She acknowledged my request and asked

to lay face down on a long board, with my face, breasts and cocks slipping through a couple of holes in them.

Once that was done, she began to massage my body, starting with the base of my neck.

When she was done with my whole tail, she turned

over herself with expert delicateness, making sure that none of her work was undone.

And then she did everything again but to my front side this ti. And now that she had finished massaging my whole body, she left

to lie there for an hour, periodically checking in on

every fifteen minutes to make sure I didn’t fall asleep.

After the hour was up, she forcefully made

to the baths, where she cleaned

to rest further and soak in the perfectly warm waters.

I let out a deep sigh, filled with absolute peace, as if all the worries of the world are none of my concern because they didn’t exist.

Of I knew they did, but for a brief mont, I allowed myself to feel as if they didn’t. And for the first ti in ages, I actually was able to just enjoy myself, not caring about anything going on in the world.

I spent the next few hours in there, with more people coming to join

every so often after their own massages.

Eventually though, I had to get out. It was a bit sad as I wanted to stay for a bit longer, but I didn’t make a fuss. I’d stayed long enough. Plus, I had to go back and let my friends know that I was okay, and that I wasn’t mysteriously kidnapped again.

After that, it was business as usual for the next day. Then the day after that, it was finally back to school.

And I couldn’t be happier.

It had been so long since I’d been to school, or had a schedule or any sort of consistency in my life. Or at least it felt like that anyway.

Regardless, I was happy to return to so semblance of normality. Even if it only lasted during the ti I was in the academy, it was still nice to know that this place could take my mind of all my worries by replacing them with different ones.

Several weeks had passed and it was now the end of the month. And we were doing a standard test in each of our chosen classes.

And just like last ti, I managed to pass each and every one of them. Though I did fall behind in my Etiquette class compared to the rest.

It was also said that the Duchess’ nephew went missing, but I of course knew the truth and that he wouldn’t be returning. He was gone forever, not even a chance to reincarnate.

Not that I cared of course, he was an absolute piece of scum that didn’t deserve the gift of life, nor a second chance. Plus, he was incredibly stupid and conceited too, letting a demon take hold of his very being like that.

Either way, it was now ti for

to co and test my [Astromancy] skills. This kind of ca out of nowhere last week.

He said that he wanted to test my abilities in combat. And not just like when we sparred against one another, but in actual combat against other people or against dungeon monsters.

According to him, this was the best way for him to determine whether or not he should continue training

at this point, because my powers had beco far greater than his.

I thought it would take many more years for

to reach this stage with my powers, but apparently my talent was greater than anything he could’ve ever expected.

Either way the day had arrived for

to complete this test.

Eric brought

to a secluded space in the middle of nowhere out in the dune seas. Beneath the place we were was a secret dungeon that could only be accessed by those who had an affinity for [Space].

The rules for this dungeon test were to only use my [Space] affinity to get to the fifth floor of the dungeon. I could use my other powers as well, but only as supplentary additions to my space skills. So, unfortunately for , no [Lust] unfortunately. I could use [Fire] though.

Either way, it was now ti to begin the test.
