Chapter 276: Progression (2/2)

The rest of that weekend, I went out to go adventuring, or more specifically, hunting in the dungeon.

It was then that I realised that I forgot that I had levelled up, or at least I should have levelled up last ti.

I found that rather odd, since I should’ve levelled up after that boar hunt. I’ve looked at my Soul Scroll several tis since then, and it didn’t increase at all, not even any EXP was received, which was weird.

I decided to go and check this out with guild master Ba’arhim, which ant revealing my Soul Scroll. But he shouldn’t overreact right?

Right?

_

He didn’t freak out thankfully and was only mildly surprised.

"So, you have a Soul Scroll eh? A surprise to be sure but a welco one. We’ll always open our arms to people like you. But I heard that you had a complaint about the dungeon? Is it too easy?"

"Uh no, that’s not the problem. The problem relates to why I revealed my Soul Scroll to you, which I hope you can keep secret please, I don’t want people knowing I have one." I expressed my desires to have as little information about

get out as possible.

"Don’t worry, I’ll keep it secret. In fact, I’ll tell you a little secret myself, c’re." He gestured for

to co closer.

I got up from my seating and slithered over to his desk and leaned in.

He then whispered to

that he also had a Soul Scroll.

I reeled back in shock. "Really? And nobody else knows?"

"Well, only a couple of good friends know, and now you. But aside from that, no, nobody knows." He leaned back in his chair as he told

about his friends who knew. Turns out they were his old adventuring buddies.

"So, you said that there was sothing wrong with the dungeon in regards to Soul Scrolls. What is it? What’s wrong?" He inquired with an inquisitive tone.

"Well... I did a quest to hunt so boars there the other day, and I realised earlier, that I didn’t get any EXP from it, which I was kind of hoping for since I’m only a few thousand EXP away from levelling up."

I dumped the whole issue onto him at once.

"No... EXP..." he fell silent as his face darkened and sharpened, becoming a lot more serious. "That indeed is a problem. That ans that there is sothing wrong with the dungeon and its Core."

He contemplated with his head in his hands for a mont before raising his head and speaking once more, "I’m going to go and test this out now just to confirm. You’re free to co with

if you wish since you discovered this problem."

I nodded and followed him as he left the building. One of the staff asked him where he was going, but in a stern and stoic manner, he just simply said, "The dungeon." And left.

Getting into the dungeon was easy since he was the leader of the adventurer’s guild and an Umbryllium rank adventurer, even though he says he only has the strength of an Adamantium one.

Either way, we descended into the first floor of the dungeon in a hunt for so monsters.

It took us a while but we eventually found a small group of goblins, three to be exact, and Ba’arhim quickly dispatched of them with an intricately designed and quite beautiful greater battle axe, just smashing the trio to paste against the tunnel walls.

He waited a mont and frowned.

I have no idea what that could an. He could’ve gotten so EXP, or he might not have. I don’t know, I have no way of telling.

"Hmm... this certainly is an issue... I’ll have to bring this up with the higher ups." He mumbled in a deep tone. "Thank you for brining this to my attention Traytora, you’ll be rewarded for reporting this."

"Oh that’s not necessary, I-"

He bluntly cut

off, "You’re getting paid for reporting this whether you like it or not. Not my decision, but if they find out I didn’t pay you for this, it’s my ass on the line."

"Oh... Can I accept it in private?" I asked, not wanting to have this go public.

"Oh yeah sure, that’s fine. You can co and collect your reward later."

With this little expedition over with, Ba’arhim returned to the guild and I went back to the orphanage since dungeon diving didn’t seem to be of much use

So much for adventuring. There wasn’t a whole lot else I could do adventurer wise since the only other real quests required

to leave the city.

I ended up just going to a public library to read. I didn’t read anything specific, I just grabbed so books and read them. When I was done, I put them back and left to go ho.

An entire week had based and it was now the last week of the month, and every first year, is required to take an exam to see their progress so the school can assess how well they’ve been doing.

This test wouldn’t actually affect anything, nor is it ant to be taken seriously. It was just a general assessnt of what we’ve learned and how well we’ve learned.

I only had three classes to attend. Hence, I only had to take three exams.

Also, my tutor had been fired and was going to be replaced because she actually breached conduct with the Institute because of her behaviour. She was also forced to stay quiet about this incident.

Anyways, I passed all three tests with flying colours. Definitely not because I revised everything during my empty school days and more the week before.

Not that it matter since these exams were ant to asure our progress and nothing else.

That lead

to my [Astromancy] lessons with Eric for the week.

We’d actually managed to grow a little bit of a repour with each other these last couple of weeks, becoming friendly with each other and opening up a little about ourselves as well.

He told

that he was sothing called a regressor, which ant that he basically sent his mind back in ti. But that ca at the cost of his mind’s integrity.

That was why he acted like an entitled brat when we first t.

I also told him about the other half of my ancestral heritage. He was confused at first since Astraa is the goddess of all Naga regardless, but when I told him that I had her personal Bloodline, he freaked out.

Even more so upon hearing that I received her inheritance.

"YOU WHAT! I didn’t even know there was such a thing!" he scread hysterically as he ripped his hair out.

"I assu that I never received such a thing before then?" He clearly knew who I was and had t

before because of how he recognised

and knew about my relationship with my father.

"Well, out of the nurous tis that I t you, no. No, you never heard or knew about such a thing. You only had your father’s lineage unlocked."

That was interesting. This ant that out of all the apparent tis he’s gone back in ti and t , this was the first ti I received this inheritance.

"Wait... This is from an Inheritance within the Illuminati, isn’t it?" He realised. "That [Space] attributed Mana Crystal ca from your inheritance, didn’t it?" Yup, he fully realised where it ca from.

"Yeah, I got loads of stuff from there also besides that."

"How much stuff did you get?" Eric asked in disbelief.

"Umm, a lot? And there’s still more that I can get as well. I don’t even have a tenth of that stuff on hand." I told him.

"I’m speechless. They don’t usually have such large Inheritances." He mumbled offhandedly.

"Well, mine was made by a literal Goddess." I noted in hopes that he would stop freaking out over this.

He did thankfully stop and we actually started my lessons, where I levelled up so of my Skills so more.

[Ding!]

[You have levelled up the following Skills; [Spatial Shift: LvL. 2], [Spatial Barriers: LvL. 2], [Minor Spatial Manipulation] and [Spatial Vision: LvL. 1] by 1.]

When my training with Eric was over, I spent the last day of the month going through my stuff, since I had so much of it in my storage, and I could now actually organise it a lot more.

I started by separating everything into their own layers, based upon what they were. Clothes got their own section, so did the materials slash resources that would improve my strength.

The two blades got their own layer, and then I ca upon the Mommy Milkies potion, which I still haven’t drank yet.

Which made

realise, I haven’t had sex in weeks, not even with Lily surprisingly. I also still need to write a letter to my father also. I’ll do that soon.

I drank the potion, as that would give

control over my tits and their milk, which I haven’t actually tasted yet, but had no intention of finding out soon.

Either way, everything was now sorted in my storage dinsion, so I wrote my letter to my father, writing about what has happened since I last wrote to him, how much I miss him and how I am doing in general.

Once I finished that, I gathered my friends do celebrate the end of the first month at school, handing the letter to Lily so that she could take it ho when she went back to Hell, which she ended up doing the following morning after giving

a goodbye kiss.

...

Damn it, I should’ve spent the night in bed with her, but we all ended up sleeping in Ash’s room. I could’ve levelled up from the aftermath also.
