Chapter 239: The Others

The boss girl then prostrated herself before , smashing her head against the floor shouting, "Please let

serve you!"

That sudden turn of events was so shocking that I heard a large plate full of food clatter to the floor. I knew exactly who did that, but was too stunned to react, and I didn’t honestly care about it anyways.

But this? Having this girl suddenly submit to

as she did, was not sothing I was expecting to see or encounter.

Why exactly is she doing this?

"B-Boss?" One of her cronies muttered in shock. "Wh-What are you doing?"

The prostrated girl ignored everyone else and looked up at

with dreamy eyes and a silly smile that bordered on obsessive.

"Please! Let

serve you!" She kept on begging to serve , whatever that ant.

"..." I looked down at her with so contempt and let go of the woman that I was holding onto to her relief.

I said nothing as I then slithered past her, not caring for her plea and just ignoring her.

I left the dining hall and booked it for my room, but as I turned a corner, I accidentally bumped into so one and fell onto the floor. I got up and imdiately apologised.

"Sorry about that, I just wanted to get back to my room as soon as possible."

"Ugh, it’s whatever. So long as you’re sorry." The person before

replied in a gruff yet sowhat feminine voice.

And when I got a good look at her, I noticed that she had a much darker skin tone compared to most serpentine with skin. And on top of that, she had grey hair and a darker grey shade of scales, with so patches being almost black in colour.

She also had nice set of bouncy boobs and a girthy pair of dicks down below. Another odd feature I noticed was her fang. Her singular fang that would indicate that she’s a Naga.

"Woah, you’re a weird one." I comnted out loud by accident.

And before I could apologise for my rudeness, she just shrugged it off saying, "Yeah, I get that a lot. I’m used to it by now."

The way she carried herself shows that she is very mature for soone in this place. Much like myself actually. Like , she was forced to mature due to her circumstances, whatever they may be.

"Na’s Ashtraz by the way, but you can just call

Ash."

"Oh uh, mine’s Traytora." My replied courteously. To a degree.

"Nice to et you Traytora. You’re not like the other girls in here. And the one guy. You’re special, like ." And with that weird and mysterious statent, she left in the direction of the dining hall.

Leaving

to go back to my room and call it a night for today.

When I woke up the next day, I woke up in my room, on my bed. No one had broken into my room, probably because they didn’t know it was mine, as I suspect that so people would’ve done so.

Anyways, I looked around and found a grandfather clock in my room which I never noticed before. And it was displaying what I believed to be the current ti, which was around eight in the morning.

Getting out of bed, I slipped my tail off and hoisted myself upright and headed over to the desk to check my hair.

It was a bit scruffy, and I would’ve brushed it clean but I didn’t have a hairbrush, not was there one provided by the orphanage as all the drawers were empty.

The room was furnished and had replacent bed sheets in the wardrobe, but apart from that, nothing else was provided to . Not even a toothbrush.

Not that I actually need a toothbrush since my saliva is more than capable of cleaning my mouth on its own, but still.

I sighed and just resorted to brushing my hair with my hand, which worked to so degree, but you could clearly tell that I didn’t put much effort or care into it as I was still sowhat scruffy looking.

Once that was done, I looked at the ti and saw that ten minutes hadn’t even passed and I didn’t want to go get breakfast just yet.

So for now, I would just unload so of my stuff from my [Spatial Storage]. And I began with my Maps. I just put them into one of the drawers in my desk. Except for the one that detailed the city, I would keep that on person at all tis.

The only other things that I had in my Storage were a pile of mostly magically enchanted clothes, which I didn’t want to put out on display, so I only put away my normal clothing.

There was also the last couple of potions I got from the Dungeon, but I wouldn’t be drinking them anyti soon. If at all ever.

Then there were my gold pouches. They ain’t ever leaving my storage unless I need them.

As for everything else that’s in there... I still have the stuff Kronia gave to ... I forgot to give them back... If we ever et again, I’ll make sure to pay her back for them.

Then there’s all the stuff from the inheritance as well as the auction that I need to deal with. I won’t do anything with them here as I don’t feel like that’s a good idea. Either way, none of that stuff will ever be leaving my [Spatial Storage] unless I want to use it.

So, ultimately, apart from the maps and my clothes, I don’t really have anything to take out and put into my new room.

And only about twenty minutes passed, aning that it was now around half past eight...

Guess I’ll go and get breakfast now since I have nothing better to do.

When I arrived inside the dining hall, there weren’t nearly as many people as last night, in fact, there were less than when I ca in last night.

There was at most like twenty people in here. Most of them all frantically rushing to finish their breakfast before rushing out. Most likely to get to school sooner.

I went over and this ti got a dium sized plate, of which there were more of now than last night. Around double to be specific. And also around half as many large plates as well.

And I can see why. After all, what’s the point of putting out large plates if they’re not going to get used for a al.

And typically, breakfasts aren’t as big as dinners either, so I can understand having more manageable portions, which would an smaller plates as compared to other als.

Anyways, I grabbed whatever was left over and filled my plate up and went to sit down and eat.

Half of the people looked at

with the sa expressions I saw on people last night and it made

uncomfortable once again.

"Don’t you people have to go to school?" I said in an attempt to make them ignore , and to my surprise, it actually worked and they went back to frantically eating.

I then noticed Ashtraz sitting not far away from , and she was talking to soone else.

And that soone appeared to be a Serpentar. A male Serpentar. That must be the one guy she spoke of last night.

The guy seed to have finished eating as he got up and left. Ashtraz then noticed

looking and motioned for

to co over and sit with her.

So I took her up on her offer.

I sat down and asked her as I began eating my breakfast, "So, that the guy?"

"Yup, that’s him. The only guy in the orphanage sohow." She confird.

"Huh... Surprised to see a Serpentar here, let alone a male one."

"Yeah, I was surprised at first too, but apparently his mother was a noble Lamia who had an affair with a Serpentar." Ashtraz explained.

I stopped eating to comnt, "Ouch. That must’ve been a rough ti for him. Growing up in that environnt."

"Well, the thing is, his mother secretly sent him here in order to protect him. Or so he says."

"Huh... I... Don’t know what to say." I just resorted to resu eating.

"That’s fine, neither did I. And he’s cool about it. He prefers it here after all, even if he misses his mother."

"That’s tough..."

"Yeah... this whole world is. Sotis feels like it’s out to get you for now reason other than to make you suffer." She spat out with disdain.

"Yeah... It does..."

"... Enough about that sad crap. Care to tell

your story whilst we eat? I don’t have classes until ten." She asked as she returned to eating her own breakfast.

"Sure, though, compared to how long I’ve lived for, there’s not much to my story right now."

"Eh, not a big deal."

"It is, actually. Let

explain..."

And so, I explained my life story, from my mother dying, to my father leaving, to the massive fucking gap in my mories to recent happenings. Minus anything involving the Illuminati. And anything relating to the Divine... I left a lot out actually... It’s for the best though...
