Chapter 211: The Illuminati
After a long silence, Thalor finally spoke up, "This... Information is certainly is useful... But we’ll have to see how useful later. That aside, there were so other things that you ntioned that are... Intriguing, to say the least. The first of which is the two being that supposedly reside within your soul... Nachash and Ouroboros. The first I can draw connections to easily enough, but the second one I cannot fathom why."
I was about to answer when I realised that I couldn’t rember any specific instance that could explain this phenonon.
*Cough* "That’s... sothing you shouldn’t dwell on." Kronia spoke up once more, and this ti she didn’t seem as tense as she was earlier, but being next to her, I could tell she was still on edge.
And what she said made
realise that any mories of why I can’t rember must be linked to sothing bad. "Oh... Okay."
The Illuminati people before us just seed confused but Kronia just said that she would explain to them why this happened and how I had the will of Ouroboros inside of
later, which they accepted despite their confusion.
"Then, onto the next thing. You said you had a Skill, that ans that you have a Soul Scroll, which, while admittedly not as rare as Mana Hearts, are still rare." Thalor noted, his hands clasped together as his head hung low to process this information.
"That said, they’re not as jaw dropping to hear of as everything else we’ve heard today. Moving on, you’re [Death Resistance] Skill, how did you obtain it?" The man raised his head and gazed at
inquisitively.
"Uhh... I don’t rember."
*Cough* "I’ll explain that later also." Kronia chid in again, aning that that mory was also sealed... Great...
Thalor went quiet once more before he resud talking, "So, besides the information that you can’t rember, that’s everything you can tell us about how your Mana Heart was created?"
"Yes, that’s everything that happened."
Thalor took a mont to take all that in whilst the rest of these Illuminati people wrote everything down before addressing
one last ti, "Well, the information you’ve provided certainly is helpful to so extent. With that out of the way, Morrigan."
"Yes Thalor?" The alluring woman with a gritty voice responded.
Thalor seed upset by being called by his na by Morrigan in this setting but brushed it aside before giving her so orders, "You will deal with her from hereon out, giving her whatever you deem appropriate as a reward to her generousness for giving us this knowledge."
"As you wish." She stood and bowed, accepting her orders before turning to . "Co little serpentine, I shall bring you to your reward." She ushered to an exit that I either didn’t notice was there before, or it just appeared.
I followed her out of the room and found myself within an extrely contrasting hall that was bright white and shiny bricks with half pillars lining the walls of the corridor which, when the entrance to that black room closed, looked like so sort of t junction with the way it was laid out.
"Before we do anything, may I ask for your na? I just realised that we never got an answer." She asked nicely.
"Oh, sorry."
"No need to apologise for that, we were the ones that got off track when we asked that and never got back to it. But better late than never. So, what’s your na?"
"Oh, it’s Traytora... Traytora Arizaraa." I introduced with a slight bow of courtesy.
"No need for such courtship here, you are our honoured guest Traytora." Morrigan brushed off my gesture politely. "Now, is there anything in particular you want as your reward?"
"Not really... I don’t actually have anything in mind that I want right now... I just want to go back to the desert for reasons I can’t rember." I answered as I followed Morrigan down one of the halls.
The decoration of this place was pristine and pure. Everything was clean, not a single spec of dust to be seen anywhere. And although this place was rather boring with just the shiny white brick walls with the gold lined pillars in equal intervals.
It wasn’t all boring though, because occasionally, there was sothing that hung upon the wall with so sort of language that I hadn’t heard of or so sort of mural for soone with an image of them with a plaque below their portrait which was in the sa mysterious language as before.
Morrigan could see that I was interested in these occasional wall decorations, so she told
more about them.
"I’m sorry, but I can’t reveal much about these people as they are to be kept secret as per the rules of the Illuminati, but I can tell you so things about them, such as their accomplishnts and why they are here." She then began illustrating the history of so of these individuals.
One of them managed to throw the Illuminati into this new age after the recreation of the world. Oh, and all of them were part of the Illuminati by the way, and every painting was greyed out. The next person she told
about supposedly led them through a crisis that could’ve potentially ended the existence of the Illuminati if not for that person.
We spent a while wandering throughout the halls, or rather, I spent so ti following her through the halls as she retold the history of the influential figures in this secret organisation.
But eventually we ca to one of the portraits which had a serpentine much like myself, and had the distinct features of a Naga specifically, with extended ears compared to a Lamia, and the fangs poking out of her mouth.
And just like , she was naked. Her figure was nothing to scoff at, in fact, it was sexier than mine, despite the fact that her boobs were a bit smaller than mine, but the way she seemingly caried herself and the curves of her figure were just incredible.
"And, I think as a reward, I’ll tell you a little more about this person in particular, as I think you’ll want to hear this." Morrigan spoke in a captivating yet sowhat mystifying tone.
I was imdiately encapsulated, as I felt on an instinctual level that I should listen to what this woman had to say.
And her next words proved
right by the shocking
to my core.
taphorically speaking.
