Chapter 139: eting with a Deceitful God

I was fuming at the prospect of my daughter eting with a divine, and of course it had to Loki of all gods!

I don’t want her interacting with any kind of divine entity, let alone one like Loki.

If not for the deity agreent that prevents us from travelling between the dinsional barrier of each pantheon, I would go over to Asgard right now and beat the living hell out of that bastard.

But all I could do now was wait. I couldn’t interfere as this was happening in the dungeon core itself, which I wasn’t able to see what was going on in there.

I just hope that she doesn’t make a deal with him, he can be one conniving son of a bitch. Though, if he does intend to strike a deal with her, then he should know not to push it too far or else I’ll make his live a living hell, literally.

He may be a conniving bastard with eons of experience in trickery, but I am soone who’s been alive since the birth of creation. I have lived longer than him, I have witnessed humanity grow and fall. I am one of the seven princes of hell.

I am, a demon, and the only thing that can top a demon when it cos making sketchy deals, is a stronger, older and wiser demon, which I am, for I. Am.

Asmodeus! The prince of Lust and I will not be outdone by so puny trickster!

Shit I think I said that last part out loud. And I think everyone in the city heard ... I think I’ll just make everyone forget that... Aaaaaannnndd, done! There, now none of them rember what I just said.

Anyways, back to my daughter, it seems like she finished talking with Loki as she had crashed into the wall after leaving the inner scape of the dungeon’s core.

And before I could continue watching, soone ca knocking on my door.

*Knock* Knock* Knock*

Their knocking seed hasty and impatient. "Your majesty! You have an important guest who want to see you urgently!"

He seems to be afraid of this new guest. Wait, how did I not sense them? If they’re that important, then they must be powerful right? Then how did they get in? Did Lucifer let them in personally? That might explain why.

"Who is it?" I asked the attendant, who sounded like one of the dukes I fucked the other day.

"It’s the God of Chaos and Mischief Loki!" He said in a panic.

...

"WHAT!"

Dear Lucifer I hope he didn’t hear what I said just now about him.

Regardless, I manifested a suit over myself and hurried to et him, eager to give him what he deserves.

I reach my throne room, where he’s stood in the middle of the room. I walk over to him and punch him in the face, causing the illusion to disperse before I sat on my throne and unleashed my aura.

His invisibility wore off as I forced him to submit under my overwhelming strength.

"That’s rather rude, you know?" He said, trying to ease the atmosphere, but I could tell that he was shaking slightly under the pressure.

"...Speak, why are you here?" I commanded him to explain himself.

"Well, as I’m sure you know, I spoke with your daughter."

I stared intensely at him when he said that, making him more nervous.

"D-Don’t worry." So much so that he actually stuttered. "She’s perfectly fine, I even did her a favour."

"A favour? Boy, you are talking to a demon, I MAKE favours for MYSELF, you really think you can outsmart ?" I deaned him.

"I-I’m well aware, and I just wanted to say that I haven’t asked for anything to absurd in return."

"Mmm." I waved for him to elaborate.

And so he elaborated, "I’ve just asked her to help

kill soone in the future when she’s strong enough."

"Who?"

"Ní??h??ggr."

I blinked. "Ní??h??ggr? Isn’t that the dragon that eats at the world tree’s roots? Why would you ask my daughter to kill this ancient beast? Not to ntion the fact that, despite being my daughter, I don’t think she’ll ever be capable of doing so in her lifeti."

"Exactly! That’s why I left out the who, and just said that she owes

this. It doesn’t matter if she ets the requirents or not as I never expect her to, and if she does, I’ll wait until she becos even stronger as I don’t want to piss off one of the seven archdemons of Hell." He said with a slim smile on his face.

"You know that she won’t beco that strong regardless, right." I inquired.

"Of course, that’s why I made it such that what I want has the facade of sothing attainable, when in reality it isn’t. And it’ll also be a good motivator for her becoming stronger, because the longer I don’t ask for her to fulfil her end of the deal, there will be this nagging feeling that she’s not strong enough, so she’ll get just a bit stronger, and slowly over ti, that strength will build up, making her capable of defending herself against any enemy."

"..." There was silence after he spoke.

He started to sweat nervously. I could tell why, as this was his real body in front of , aning that if I killed him here, there wouldn’t be repercussions from what remains of his own pantheon, but he does control the dungeons of Earth, so I would have to answer for killing him to the new gods.

The silence grew more unbearable, until I spoke up, "I will admit, you are smarter than I gave you credit for. Despite being a god, you have intelligence, wit and intuition. You know how to play your cards to your favour without burning them stupidly, like you brother, or that oaf Zues. I will say this, after eting you, I have co to respect you, Loki."

Expectedly, he was surprised by my words, but still maintained his still sowhat shrewd persona and said, "Well, coming from soone like you who’s much older than

and has dealt with this kind of thing for much longer, that is an incredible complint and I take it with pride."

I smiled and released the pressure I was putting on him, allowing him to breath properly.

"Now get out of here unless you have so other business here." I ordered.

"There is one thing. Could I perchance, use so of your brothels? I an I figure since I’m here-"

"Go ahead, I have no reason not to stop you, just don’t make a fuss and don’t disturb ."

He thanked

for my ti before he eagerly ran off to have fun in the city, and as for .

Well I went back to watching my daughter of course!
