The arrow, which was originally ant to belong to Yoshikage Kira, possesses the ability to identify those with the potential to beco Stand users.
If the target has the qualifications to awaken a Stand, the arrowhead will instinctively align itself with the target, much like a compass.
In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4, Yoshikage Kira relied on this arrow to autonomously search for those with potential, creating nurous Stand users and causing considerable trouble for the protagonists.
This unique ability to detect Stand potential has so far been shown only in Kira's arrow, as no other arrow has demonstrated this capability.
Shin felt quite fortunate that he intercepted Kira's arrow. If he had ended up with a different one, it might not have been as convenient.
"You got a death wish, kid?"
The burly man, unaware of anything about Stands, was furious at Shin's seemingly dismissive remark.
Being part of the underworld, he wasn't inclined to kill, but teaching this kid a lesson was within reason.
He reached out, intending to grab Shin's head and toss him aside.
Yet as soon as he extended his hand, he felt an overwhelming force seize his wrist, making further movent impossible.
"What… What's going on? What's grabbing !?"
His expression shifted as he realized that no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't escape this mysterious power.
If there were another Stand user present, they'd see Blackbird standing behind Shin, with its hand gripping the man's wrist.
Having conquered the JoJo world, Shin had brought Blackbird, now at 100% power, into the real world. Blackbird now possessed strength equivalent to Shin's own body.
Even without using abilities he'd absorbed from other Stands, this strength alone made him unafraid of anyone in this world.
"In the original, Stand users only appeared if their awakening succeeded. I've never seen what a failed Stand awakening looks like."
Shin twirled the arrowhead in his hand before flicking it towards the terrified man.
Thud!
The black-and-gold arrowhead flew from Shin's fingers, piercing the man's neck effortlessly, as if cutting through tofu. Blood spurted out.
"Gah…"
The man groaned in agony, collapsing in a pool of blood, drawing the attention of the few patrons in the bar.
"Ahhh—!!"
A few of them, obviously custors, scread and dashed for the door.
Shin ignored them, but when he noticed a few bar staff trying to escape as well, he swiftly blocked their way.
"You guys aren't going anywhere; I'll need your help contacting soone."
The bar staff froze as Shin's figure appeared in front of them in a flash, petrified.
Working in an underworld bar, they'd seen their fair share of action; so had even witnessed gang wars.
But those brawls were still within their understanding. Shin's speed and agility were beyond comprehension.
"Ugh… Aaagh!"
The burly man, lying on the ground, continued to struggle, but soon his movents ceased — yet Shin's keen senses picked up sothing strange.
Boom!
The man's body suddenly exploded like dynamite, and Shin imdiately moved.
"Blackbird The World!"
Ti ca to a halt as Shin dashed over to the man's body, plucking the arrowhead from the blast zone before it could be damaged.
"And ti resus."
Ti flowed again, and the man's body continued to explode, sending debris flying throughout the bar.
The arrowhead, unhard, landed back in Shin's hand.
This arrowhead didn't have any invulnerability; in JoJo Part 5, Diavolo's arrow was shattered by a gunshot fired by Polpo's "suicidal orders."
"What happened? Why did Jiro just explode!?"
"Was there a bomb planted on him?"
The bar staff, panicked, looked at Shin, suspecting he'd sohow rigged the man with explosives.
Shin ignored their frightened looks and instead gazed thoughtfully at the spot where the man had exploded.
In JoJo Part 5, Polnareff had ntioned that the arrows contained an alien virus necessary for Stand awakening, and that so researchers who had inadvertently co into contact with the virus didn't survive, being consud by flas and lightning before they died.
In other words, even those who didn't survive would montarily exhibit sothing akin to Stand powers.
If this man had survived, his Stand might have involved explosions — but lacking the potential, he just detonated, leaving no trace.
Satisfied with having witnessed a failed Stand awakening, Shin used the arrowhead to check the bar staff for Stand potential as well.
Unfortunately, none of them had it.
"You guys are in the underworld, right?"
Putting away the arrowhead, Shin looked at the bar staff.
They exchanged uneasy glances — seriously? You storm in, blow soone up, and now you're asking if we're in the underworld?
They dared not protest and nodded hesitantly.
"Bring your boss here, if that's not too much to ask."
Shin pulled up a chair and casually grabbed a nearby tal shaker, crushing it into a solid iron ball with ease.
—No one dared to say it was a problem.
The staff quickly nodded, too scared to defy him.
Watching the bar staff go to make a call, Shin remained unperturbed.
It was normal for only a few to have Stand potential; even if he wanted to build a following, he couldn't turn everyone into Stand users.
A handful of Stand users would be sufficient; as his power grew, he would eventually co across more people with Stand potential.
With this arrow, he could create superior Stand users, ensuring his faction's steady growth.
If he wanted, Shin could start from scratch, but that would be slow. It was better to co-opt an existing underworld group for his foundation.
