{Transitioning to Shin}

After his eight hours of in-ga sleep ran out, Shin woke up directly in his bed.

However, he was startled by a shadow beside him the mont he opened his eyes. Upon closer inspection, he realized that a sinister spirit was standing by his bedside.

Much like the spirits seen by Miko Yotsuya, this dark specter had a twisted form, barely resembling a human, as if composed of tangled black lines.

Sensing that Shin was looking at it, the spirit suddenly turned its head toward him. It was only then that Shin figured out where its head was.

"Can you see ?"

Shin didn't bother replying. He simply summoned Blackbird behind him and threw a punch. The specter's form shattered instantly, crushed into pieces by Blackbird's strike.

These spirits might look intimidating, but they only pose a threat to ordinary people. As long as one has a way to hit them, Shin's strength could easily deal with them.

"Didn't expect an actual spirit in my ho... Damn, could this place be a haunted house?"

Watching as the spirit dissolved into a cloud of black mist and vanished, Shin's expression beca slightly complicated.

When he left the ga, he had wondered if his Stand would allow him to see spirits in the real world. He even suspected he'd encounter one soon.

It happened sooner than expected; the first spirit he saw was in his own room.

Spirits typically co from lingering souls of the deceased and are more commonly seen on the streets. Finding one in his own room, Shin could only suspect that this house might have originally been haunted.

Alternatively, soone might have died here long ago, and then a house was built on the site, trapping the spirit inside.

After checking every room in the house and confirming that no other spirits were present, Shin finally relaxed.

Even though he was sure, thanks to Blackbird's recent attack, that spirits posed no real threat to him, having too many around would still feel unsettling.

In fact, just having one spirit around was already quite unpleasant.

"The Blackbird I brought into the real world..."

Shin glanced at Blackbird, floating behind him. Blackbird wasn't a Stand with a mind of its own; it moved solely by Shin's will.

Due to the 50% sync rate with the JoJo world, Blackbird's strength was slightly reduced to around half of Shin's own power.

But even half that power was still strong enough; just now, Blackbird's single punch was too much for the spirit to withstand.

And…

"Blackbird: Void Scrape!"

Under Shin's control, Blackbird reached out and picked up a teacup from the table, activating the Void Scrape ability acquired from Vanilla Ice.

Buzz!

With Blackbird's hand at the center, a spherical area of space was erased. The teacup in Blackbird's hand vanished without a trace.

"Although only 50% of the Stand's strength was synchronized, its spatial ability seems almost unaffected... Maybe spatial abilities have a constant effect."

Watching the teacup disappear, Shin pondered.

While Void Scrape is a powerful spatial skill, it has a limitation—it can only erase space at close range.

Void Scrape's spatial deletion centers on itself, erasing a spherical area, and Blackbird naturally inherits this trait.

In contrast, the Stand "Space Bomb" from Part 4 can delete space from a distance with a swipe, potentially making it more practical than Void Scrape.

Though "Space Bomb" can't hide soone in a pocket dinsion, it's otherwise an upgraded version of Void Scrape.

"That reminds —I wonder what happens after completing the main quest in this world? Will a new main quest appear?"

Thinking of Part 4's Stand abilities sparked Shin's curiosity about what happens after completing his main quest.

If everything goes as expected, the main quest of JoJo Part 3—defeating Dio—should be completed within the next couple of days. But will the JoJo world remain unused after that?

Maybe a new main quest will appear? That will only be known after the current one is completed.

...

"Shin, you look a bit tired."

After arriving at school, Shin sat in his usual seat. Almost imdiately, gumi Kato, who sat in front, turned around and looked at him with curiosity.

"Do I?"

Shin froze and touched his face instinctively—he didn't feel tired at all, so he wasn't sure how gumi noticed.

"Well, it looks like you were fighting your way to school."

gumi smiled and offered an oddly accurate description.

"…"

Hearing this, Shin couldn't help but recall his commute to school.

Indeed, he encountered several spirits on his way. So were rely wandering on the roadside, but a few oblivious ones approached him directly.

They kept asking, "Can you see ?" and even reached out to him.

One of them even stuck out its tongue.

Unable to bear it, Shin used Blackbird to punch each one, with the tongue-wagging one erased by Void Scrape.

Fortunately, Blackbird could use Void Scrape with its hand, not its mouth. Otherwise, he'd find it really off-putting.

So, in a sense, he was indeed "fighting" his way to school, though it was the spirits on the receiving end.

"gumi, are you perhaps so sort of dium?"

Because of her uncanny description, Shin couldn't help but wonder if gumi had seen sothing on her way to school.

"What do you an?"

gumi tilted her head, seemingly oblivious to the precision of her previous words.

Her expression revealed no additional emotions, and after a long mont of eye contact with Shin, she showed no sign of embarrassnt, simply staring back at him.

Ultimately, Shin broke eye contact—not out of shyness, but because he had summoned Blackbird behind him.

Blackbird brought a spirit from the playground, yet gumi continued looking at Shin, without reacting to Blackbird or the spirit.

So Shin chose to believe that gumi was still just a regular girl, then looked away and instructed Blackbird to crush the spirit it had brought.
