Zuke had prepared two plans.
If the large-scale combat power detector from the Frieza Force confird that his combat power was stronger than he had imagined—strong enough to even threaten Frieza—then Zuke would seize the opportunity to eliminate Frieza once and for all.
He had already completed several main missions in other task worlds, but progress in the Dragon Ball world had been slow. Zuke had been growing impatient for a while now.
However, without a clear understanding of his combat power, Zuke had been hesitant. Now, with his combat power asured, he could finally gauge his true strength.
But if his combat power still wasn't enough to threaten Frieza, Zuke would have to temporarily relocate Planet Vegeta and the Saiyans into his "King's Army" dinsion.
As a bounded field, the "King's Army" was a "false world" created by the erosion of his inner world into reality, making it unobservable from the outside.
If Frieza arrived at the coordinates of Planet Vegeta, he would find nothing but empty space—Planet Vegeta would have already disappeared from the Dragon Ball universe.
This had been Zuke's original plan, but as his abilities grew, he had beco increasingly dissatisfied with it.
After all, he had learned to absorb planetary energy and had even consud Majin Buu—he was no longer the sa person who had initially devised this plan.
"I hope the results will satisfy ."
Following Bardock to a combat power testing room on Planet Vegeta, Zuke walked in, thinking to himself.
The interior of the testing room resembled a training chamber, but the walls were covered with various special instrunts and components, giving it a retro-futuristic aesthetic reminiscent of Akira Toriyama's style.
Outside the room, a female Saiyan operated the testing equipnt.
Originally, these instrunts were operated by personnel sent by the Frieza Force, but now that everyone on the planet except the Saiyans had been eliminated, the Saiyans had to handle these tasks themselves.
In the short term, this wasn't a problem, but over ti, the Saiyans' rough handling would inevitably lead to issues.
After all, while the Saiyans were excellent fighters, they weren't suited for operating delicate instrunts—mistakes were common, and few Saiyans knew how to maintain such complex equipnt.
This was why Zuke planned to take over the Frieza Force after eliminating Frieza—logistical tasks like these still needed to be handled by the Frieza Force, as the Saiyans simply weren't cut out for it.
"Lord Zuke, I will begin the test now."
The voice of the Saiyan operating the equipnt ca through the intercom, and Zuke stood ready in the room.
The next mont, the temperature in the room skyrocketed—a result of the instrunts operating at high speeds.
Outside the room, the Saiyan operating the equipnt and Bardock, who was standing nearby, stared in shock as the numbers on the screen began to climb rapidly.
The upper limit of this large-scale combat power detector was, of course, much higher than that of portable detectors, but it still had its limits.
According to the Frieza Force's official specifications, the detector's upper limit was 30 million, aning it could theoretically asure the combat power of any being accurately.
Of course, this was based on the assumption that no one in the universe could surpass Frieza, whose full power was 120 million. To most Frieza Force mbers, Frieza's combat power was only 530,000.
Thus, they believed a 30 million upper limit was more than sufficient to asure anyone's combat power in the universe.
The Saiyan operating the equipnt and Bardock had initially thought the sa.
But now, as the numbers on the screen continued to rise, their assumptions were being overturned.
In just a few seconds, the numbers on the screen had surpassed 10 million and were still climbing.
The boost from absorbing planetary energy was far greater than Zuke had anticipated.
In the original series, Moro had granted so of the energy he absorbed to a few low-level soldiers, enabling them to overpower a Super Saiyan 3.
While Zuke hadn't absorbed as much planetary energy as Moro, nor had he targeted high-quality, life-bearing planets, the increase in his power was still significant.
Combined with rus's training, which had strengthened Zuke's body to withstand vast amounts of energy, his current strength far exceeded his own expectations.
"20 million... and still rising... Oh no!"
As Bardock watched the numbers on the screen, he felt both excitent at Zuke's imnse power and a sudden realization of what was about to happen.
Sure enough, the next mont, the numbers on the screen surpassed the 30 million threshold—and the detector's components finally gave out, exploding violently.
Boom!
The large-scale detector and the room itself exploded, thick smoke pouring out as the screen went dark.
Of course, the explosion couldn't harm the Saiyans, but the Saiyan operating the equipnt and Bardock, who had witnessed the entire process, shared the sa thought:
—Could Zuke be the legendary Super Saiyan?
---
"So, over 30 million combat power, huh?"
Zuke stepped out of the exploded room, changing into a new set of clothes Bardock had brought him, and nodded thoughtfully.
The sudden explosion had startled him, but he quickly realized it was because his combat power had exceeded the detector's upper limit.
From Bardock, he learned that the large-scale detector's upper limit was 30 million... aning his combat power was at least 30 million.
This was sowhat surprising to Zuke, but when he considered the planetary energy he had absorbed and the boosts Moro had achieved in the original series, it made sense.
It seed he had underestimated the power gained from absorbing energy—no wonder Moro had looked down on conventional training thods in the original series.
Of course, Moro's downfall had been his lack of a well-trained body, which ultimately couldn't handle the power he had copied from rus, leading to his self-destruction.
If Moro had trained properly, allowing his body to withstand rus's power, his potential would have been truly terrifying.
