Planet Vegeta, originally known as Planet Plant, has been called by its current na ever since the Saiyans took over. The planet is predominantly inhabited by Saiyans—though not entirely, as there are also mbers of other races from the Frieza Force stationed here.

These Frieza Force mbers serve a dual purpose: they provide logistical support for the Saiyans' daily lives and training, while also acting as spies to monitor the Saiyans' activities for Frieza.

However, today, Planet Vegeta was unusually noisy. The largest square on the planet was packed with a massive crowd of Saiyans.

"What's going on?" asked one of the Frieza Force logistics personnel, curious about the Saiyans' actions. He squeezed into the crowd at the edge of the square and asked the question.

Hearing his question, a few Saiyans turned to look at him. But upon realizing the question ca from a Frieza Force lackey rather than a fellow Saiyan, they sneered and turned their attention back to the square.

The Frieza Force mber didn't mind the cold treatnt—after all, while the Saiyans looked down on them, the feeling was mutual.

In the universe, Saiyans were often referred to by 12 derogatory terms, one of which was "wild monkeys." Essentially, they were seen as a rowdy, unintelligent race, which naturally earned them disdain from many.

Standing in the center of the square was Bardock—many of the Saiyans gathered here had co specifically because of him.

So had even interrupted their missions and rushed back in their spaceships upon hearing Bardock's call, simply because he had helped them in the past.

While Saiyans weren't known for their sentintality, Bardock had helped so many people that, over ti, even the Saiyans were willing to listen to him.

"Bardock's reputation is truly impressive..."

However, this scene didn't sit well with King Vegeta.

With Bardock gathering so many Saiyans, King Vegeta, as the ruler of the Saiyans, naturally had to co and see what Bardock was up to.

He wasn't worried about Bardock trying to overthrow him. After all, while Bardock had a strong reputation, his combat power was nothing extraordinary.

He was strong, but not as strong as King Vegeta—and that was enough.

Even if many Saiyans owed Bardock favors, they wouldn't casually join him in a rebellion.

If Bardock were to challenge King Vegeta, the most likely outco would be a one-on-one fight between Bardock and the king—and King Vegeta was confident in his victory.

"Still, Bardock's reputation is getting a bit too high. If this continues..."

Although he wasn't worried about losing his throne, King Vegeta couldn't help but feel a twinge of unease about Bardock's growing influence.

He was already considering whether, after this incident, he should find an opportunity to send Bardock to a remote location, minimizing his contact with other Saiyans.

---

"It looks like almost everyone is here."

Bardock stood in the center of the square, surveying the large crowd surrounding him—mostly Saiyans, with a few Frieza Force spies scattered among them.

But that wasn't a problem, because Bardock had already sent Zuke the locations of several communication devices on Planet Vegeta.

By now, Zuke should have destroyed those devices—ensuring that no one on Planet Vegeta could send information to Frieza.

Seeing that the ti was ripe, Bardock began to speak.

Saiyans weren't known for their tact. Often referred to as "monkeys" by other races, they were blunt and straightforward. So, when Bardock spoke, his words imdiately caused a stir:

"Do you all still want to live under the rule of the Frieza Force?"

With just that one sentence, the expressions of all the Saiyans changed.

Did they want to? Of course not.

The Saiyans had their own pride, and under the Frieza Force, they had never been treated fairly.

While they ostensibly received technological and logistical support from the Frieza Force, the disdain many within the Frieza Force held for them was all too apparent.

But to rebel against the Frieza Force? Not only were there formidable obstacles like Zarbon and Dodoria, who served under Frieza, but there was also the Ginyu Force—and Frieza himself.

The Saiyans had pondered the possibility of rebellion many tis, but the conclusion was always the sa: it was impossible.

So had even brought up the legend of the Super Saiyan, hoping that such a being would save the Saiyan race—but so far, no such savior had appeared.

"Bardock! What are you trying to do?"

While the other Saiyans fell silent, one person did not: King Vegeta.

His eyes blazing with anger, he stepped forward and stood in front of Bardock, his expression filled with indescribable rage.

After all, no matter how Bardock's words played out, if they reached Frieza's ears, King Vegeta would be the one to suffer.

Seeing King Vegeta step forward, Bardock's lips curled into a smile—this was exactly what he had anticipated.

"It seems King Vegeta's stance is to continue living under the rule of the Frieza Force."

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone in the square turned their attention to King Vegeta.

Indeed, after Bardock's statent, which almost amounted to a call for rebellion, King Vegeta was the first to step forward and condemn it.

Didn't that an King Vegeta supported Frieza?

Many Saiyans felt their hearts pounding. They seed to realize what was about to happen.

Bardock wanted to rebel against the Frieza Force, while King Vegeta supported it... Didn't that an Bardock wanted to overthrow King Vegeta?

The Vegeta family had ruled the Saiyans for three generations, and unless sothing unexpected happened, they would rule for a fourth.

After all, King Vegeta's son had shown extraordinary potential from birth, with combat power that rivaled his father's at a young age. It wouldn't be long before he surpassed him.

With such power, ruling the Saiyan race would be no problem—but the question was whether Bardock could overthrow the current King Vegeta.

"Bardock, what are you trying to do? Defeat and beco the new king of the Saiyans?"

King Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Bardock, his voice icy.

Before stepping forward, he had already used a combat power detector to scan Bardock's strength. It was no different from before.

With that level of power, Bardock couldn't defeat him.
