{Transitioning to Shin}
After exiting the mission world, Shin felt his entire body sink into a soft bed, a sensation of pure comfort washing over him.
During the two months of training in the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber of the Dragon Ball world, Shin had been sleeping on the hard floor whenever he rested. There was no such luxury as a soft bed back then.
Of course, if Shin had asked, rus would likely have agreed to bring a bed from the Galactic Patrol headquarters. But at the ti, Shin was so exhausted from training that he didn't even think to make such a request. He simply lay down and fell asleep.
After two months without a soft bed, waking up now made even the most ordinary bedding feel incredibly comfortable. The ntal fatigue from long-term training seed to vanish instantly, and Shin's spirits were rejuvenated.
He turned his head to look beside him—Sayu Ogiwara had already gotten up to make breakfast, while Irisviel was still asleep, a trace of exhaustion lingering on her face.
Last night, Shin had taken good care of both Irisviel and Sayu Ogiwara. Although Irisviel had been quite enthusiastic, she had also been the first to fall asleep.
Sayu Ogiwara, on the other hand, despite the intense activities of the previous night, was still able to get up on ti to make breakfast the next morning.
It could only be said that Sayu Ogiwara's physical constitution was exceptional—her recovery ability was even stronger than that of Irisviel, a magus.
…
"Shin-Kun, you're eating breakfast with extra gusto today."
This morning, Sayu Ogiwara was surprised to see Shin eating breakfast much faster than usual, his appetite seemingly much larger. He devoured a significant portion of the al.
Originally, Sayu Ogiwara had prepared breakfast for three people, as usual. But this morning, Shin alone finished almost all of it.
Of course, Sayu Ogiwara didn't complain. There were still ingredients at ho, and Irisviel hadn't woken up yet, so she had plenty of ti to make another two servings.
She was just a bit worried about Shin's condition, so she asked with concern:
"Are you okay, Shin-Kun? Is there sothing wrong with your body? Should we see a doctor?"
"No, it's normal… Just make a bit more breakfast from now on."
Shin picked up a napkin to wipe the corner of his mouth, looking thoughtfully at the empty dishes left after his al.
Having not eaten normal food for two months, he couldn't help but indulge a bit this morning, eating more than usual.
Of course, compared to the Saiyans in the original series, he had been quite restrained. But compared to his usual appetite, it was indeed much larger.
Shin wasn't sure if this was the Saiyan appetite starting to kick in, but he decided to ask Sayu Ogiwara to prepare more food from now on, just in case.
After leaving the Dragon Ball world, his strength in the real world had also increased significantly.
If before, with his power level of a few thousand, Shin had doubts about whether he could destroy the Earth beneath his feet, now he was absolutely certain—a single Kahaha could obliterate the planet.
Of course, Shin had no intention of blowing up the Earth. This everyday world was his place of rest.
…
After finishing breakfast, Shin headed to school.
On the way, he saw soone who surprised him.
"Oh? Gabriel? You're actually getting up on ti to go to school?"
That's right, as Shin approached Gabriel's apartnt building, he saw her walking down the street, holding her school bag, her hair slightly ssy and wearing her uniform.
From the look of exhaustion on her face, it was clear she had stayed up late playing gas again, but she had forced herself to get up this morning.
Shin looked around but didn't see Vignette—he had already morized Vignette's "ki," so if she were nearby, he would have sensed her.
Without Vignette pushing her, Gabriel had actually gotten up on ti for school?
"Don't even ntion it. Vignette chewed out, saying if I wasn't on ti today, she'd make regret it."
Gabriel's face was full of frustration. She could tell Vignette was truly angry this ti, so even soone as lazy as her had no choice but to obey.
After all, Vignette only demanded that she arrive at school on ti. Once there, she could always catch up on sleep, right?
"Looks like selling that horn really made her furious."
Shin couldn't help but laugh at the situation, though he was also curious—had Gabriel never thought about buying the horn back?
"By the way, have you ever considered asking to return the horn to you?"
Vignette didn't know about Shin's Stand abilities, but Gabriel had seen a bit of it. She had witnessed the power of "Blackbird · Red Hot Chili Pepper" to manipulate electricity.
So Gabriel knew that if Shin really wanted to, he could easily retrieve the ga item data and get the money back.
Although The First Horn of Apocalypse had already been "eaten" by Blackbird, making it impossible for Shin to return it, he couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.
"No way! I'm never letting go of that set of equipnt!"
Hearing this, Gabriel's exhaustion vanished, and her spirits lifted, as if she were talking about sothing extrely important.
"You're not thinking of backing out, are you? We made a deal—money for goods! Don't let Vignette's words make you change your mind about those items!"
Shin was almost speechless—it seed he didn't need to worry about Gabriel trying to take The First Horn of Apocalypse back from him.
If anyone was worried about the deal falling through, it was Gabriel herself.
"Don't worry, I'm not planning to cancel the deal."
Shin patted Gabriel on the head—despite being a high school student, Gabriel was quite short, more like a middle schooler, and much shorter than Shin.
"But I think your days are going to be tough. Vignette probably won't let you off easy."
"Tch, I don't need you to tell that. I already know."
Gabriel didn't mind Shin's affectionate gesture. Right now, she was just thinking about how to deal with Vignette's anger.
Vignette, who was usually kind and gentle, had truly lost her temper this ti. It seed Gabriel would need to find a way to earn money to calm her down.
But the only part-ti job she had was at a café, and the pay wasn't great.
She had thought about asking Shin to teach her how to make money, but he always dodged the question, which annoyed her to no end.
"Maybe… if Shin won't tell how he makes money, I'll just investigate it myself?"
