Then the monster replied,
"I know that;
you are always better at knowing than others.
That’s why you are still a lord of this village."
Eric replied, "I always prefer to overco my responsibilities over myself. I will do everything for this village and the title of Lord, and I can even sacrifice my life for it."
Every single word after hearing John, he beca shocked and very surprised at how serious his dad was about the village and his responsibilities. He didn’t even care about his life.
This type of thinking makes him really confident that he will also do the sa his dad did for the village and to his responsibilities.
Then Eric with asking way,
"So now give this firepower of yours and lend your powers for my own."
The monster calmness,
"Okay,
I will give you my powers,
but rember that you can’t use them permanently."
"But why?" asked Eric.
Monster replied that "it’s because you are not so young as before, and now your mind is not as sharp as in your past. So if you used it too much, then oppositely, it would harm you.
Even you lost your life, Eric."
Eric goes so tense to hear that and says, "Yes, I know, but give of your power the maximum level I can tolerate, used properly."
Then the monster said,
"Okay,
I will give you this and fulfill your wish."
Also said,
"Did you save the book very safely that brings your past generation and all secrets?"
Eric replied that "yes, I already hide this from everyone, but I won’t hide the whole book; I just took so pages that anyone shouldn’t read or know about."
The monster said, "Yes, you did a good job, because only a few of my clan mbers are still alive. So are with magicians, so with warriors."
But John heard everything and already understood that the book about the monster was the sa book he got in the library. Not only that, his sad tears tear the pages of the book, and he hides it sowhere.
But John didn’t understand why his dad did this. Even why he can’t let anyoneknow about this, why he was here for so long. What is the relation between him and the monster?
All these questions make him so tense and confused about his dad.
But suddenly the monster said, "Get ready for the power transfer ritual, and co close to , then get ready for it. I will asure your limits now."
Erid did the sa; the monster said,
"Go to him,
stand beside the monster,
and try to concentrate on sothing."
Power Transfer Ritual-
Of all the many Dragon Clan secrets, none is more awe-inspiring than the ceremony of power passing. For a mortal to acquire the dragon’s fire, they must first prove themselves in spirit.
The warrior or the sorcerer kneels at the monstrous beast’s feet, closing their eyes, focusing not on muscles but on inner reserves. Both dragon and man breathe as one for an hour, their souls mingling until the dragon feels the limit of the one who will use its power.
The ceremony can only continue once this has been achieved. The dragon gathers its power, the ground trembling with every breath. Flas ignite within its core, coalescing into a glowing ball of fla. But first, the dragon offers a scroll of yellowed parchnt—a pact in the tongue of fire.
The bargain is made clear, the mortal is not the possessor of the power but the borrower of it. Blood is drawn from their own hand, and the magician or warrior puts their seal.
The bargain guarantees that the dragon has the right to take back its fire at any ti. Breaking the bargain works to gain the wrath of an immortal clan.
Once the bargain is made, the dragon gives the fiery fireball to the mortal. Heat scars their flesh, but instead of incinerating, the fire courses inward, blending with their veins, bones, and even heart. The human gasps as their shape is saturated with energy, their aura blazing like an unliving storm.
For the first ti, they feel the thump of a dragon’s heart beating in their own chest. Thenceforth, the human is altered.
Their jaws explode with fire like a true dragon’s roar, setting the battlefield ablaze. Fireballs rain down, shattering stone and reducing armies to ashes.
Every strike is heavy with destruction, and every roar of fla frightens
But this gift is a blessing and a chain. Man is tied forever to the dragon, his strength a borrowed fla. When the dragon calls, power will return, leaving nothing but the mory—and the scars—of wielding a power greater than man.
To walk this way is to have fire in one’s blood, a power that destroys as much as it protects.
[Specialty—it’s a unique ritual where a dragon and user made a bond that connects them with their minds and strength and power so they both know each other’s powers.]
[Cost—There was a big threat for the ritual perforrs because when they did this, they were going to their basic level power form and losing every type of security or unique ability for the ti the ritual was going on. At this ti anyone attacked them easily and killed them.]
Now Back to the Story:
When the ritual was going on, John looked at his dad and the monster getting bound with a shape of rope that looked invisible and connected them to each other.
That ti suddenly the monster asked Eric, "Tell , Eric, where is the place that you hide the pages of books?"
Eric said, "It’s a unique place that anyone went there or found it. It’s such a secret place, but I will tell you, it’s hiding in my room’s big drawer."
After hearing this, John was clear now where the pages were put, but he couldn’t understand which big drawer because there were many big drawers held.
Suddenly Eric said,
"In my room,
where I work on a table.
Under the table there is a secret big drawer held. There I put all the pages."
All things John heard clearly, and then...
