"Ravan family?" Avendial recalled this familiar na, one he had beco all too acquainted with due to his conflicts against them in his past life.

Following the dismantling of Lin Diego's faction and dealing with various opponents, Avendial had inevitably endured several losses on his side as well.

However, these losses were manageable; his strategies had prepared him well for the possibility of third parties seeking to exploit the situation.

Among all the third parties he anticipated would take advantage of the chaos, the Ravan Duchy had been the most unexpected.

They stood just below the Royal family in the feudal hierarchy and wielded significant resources at the ti.

It was a battle between Avendial's wit and Ravan's absolute strength.

The outco was predetermined.

"I also didn't expect Lin Diego's mother to be from the Ravan family," Aecilia mused, tilting her head slightly and closing her eyes in contemplation. It struck her as odd that Lin Diego would belong to such a particular noble lineage.

The Ravan Duchy was completely outside of expectations, especially since their daughter had married soone outside the kingdom of Thaloris.

The Ravan family was renowned across Thaloris for their deeply entrenched traditional values, which evolved around a feudal system that prioritized noble bloodlines.

Given the circumstances, one might assu they would never allow their daughter to wed outside their noble ranks. Yet, it was perplexing that they consented to such a union, even if it did involve a commoner.

Though, of course, there wasn't any feudal system where slaves or commoners could be considered a word in present modern tis.

However, due to the inheritance of ancestral properties and assets, noble families still remained top of hierarchy. Even if one noble family stood at the lowest end of the hierarchy in the kingdom of Thaloris, they possessed enough wealth to stand toe to toe with the richest n of the Free City.

This created a hint of superiority existing among the nobility, so while there were very few, they still followed the trend of considering the lower section as commoners.

'Will the Sertsul family be able to get the details about the inside conspiracy?' Avendial was quite hesitant, considering that if a Duke family like the Ravans were involved, then it would be impossible for anyone to gather information that was highly kept secret, let alone the matters which even he wasn't aware of in his past life.

Indeed, even in his past life, Avendial was not aware of why the Ravans were reacting this intensely over his battle against a faction that was definitely led by a few rising prodigies born from the Free City with no relationship of them with Kingdom of Thaloris.

Inside the Tower, the categorization had already been divided. The Royal family, even prior to the tower, had access to Empyreals, which allowed them to establish a hierarchy even within the tower. According to their orders, the division of people was based on two types: those from Free Cities and those from royal lineage.

The factions were established inside, allowing noblen and their families to participate and gain benefits from learning more about Empyreals, which the royal family provided in exchange for their loyalty.

In the Tower of Unknown, where monsters and different worlds were revealed one after another, it was impossible for anyone not to side with the person who held the most information and knowledge.

And that's how one of the top factions, which belonged to four dukes, seed to be already inford about the arrival of the tower ten days prior.

Indeed, even the royal family seed to know about the arrival of sothing unknown only a month before it actually happened.

From this, Avendial concluded that the royal family may have access to Empyreals, but they did not know about the other world—or, most likely, they only ca to know about it when the density of Synergy in the atmosphere increased dramatically.

The first family to withdraw all their assets and purchase every weapon and item available in the market was the Ravan family, who were the weapon and ammunition suppliers of the Arinphiam Empire, holding all the major military projects under them, including fighter jets and several modern weapons manufactured in their factories.

Avendial could still vividly recall that within ten days, the Ravan family had mobilized all their manpower to create weapons like crossbows and swords. This sudden shift from producing modern weapons to traditional ones was confusing.

At the ti, due to such signs from the four major duke families, Avendial also cautiously hoarded a few swords and weapons in advance just to be safe.

But for now, from the fact that they were the ammunition supplier, it was clear that Duke Ravans held a large amount of influence in the Empire, and for them to provide backing to the person whom Avendial wanted to get rid of just made things even more interesting.

In his past life, he wasn't able to understand why the Ravan family was so desperate for so unknown person. But now, he realized that Lin Diego was related to the Ravan family.

"What's Lin's mother's position in her family?" Avendial suddenly thought about the fact that, suspiciously, though at that ti he didn't think of it, given he didn't even know Lin Diego was related to the Ravan family, he just pondered why, when he was going against the faction belonging to Diego, the Ravan family didn't show up at that ti to help them.

Instead, after Lin died, they just tried to take revenge, and seeing their desperation as they chased after him throughout the tower made it clear that there was so intense hatred instilled within them.

By placing all the puzzle pieces together, Avendial was able to understand that most likely there was so sudden change occured in Ravan family at that ti.

"She is the sister of the present duke of the Ravan family and also would have the first choice for that position," Aecilia slowly opened her eyes, glancing behind Avendial, looking towards Leo. Her mind was still not understanding how soone could heal this soon.

While she kept her information vague, knowing well that there was no reason for her to explain all these things to Avendial, given he would be able to conclude other things based on this piece of information.

And true to her expectations, Avendial was able to deduce that, most likely, the present Duke of the Ravan family would have given his sister a choice to choose between her love and the position of Duchess.

Everything seed to make more sense now, considering once Avendial killed Lin Diego, most likely his mother would have taken over the Ravan family and wanted to take revenge for her son by killing Avendial.

"Hm, how is she right now?" Avendial couldn't just ignore the fact that, let alone him, even Aecilia Sertsul seed to be surprised by this piece of information, making it clear that the Ravan family had tried to hide all these things as much as possible, and most likely the condition for banishnt from the Kingdom of Thaloris would be for Lin Diego's mother to remain completely isolated to stop the information from going outside as much as possible.

"She is ill and bedridden," Aecilia replied. From the narrowed gauge of Avendial, she could at least decipher that he was able to understand the drama going on inside the Ravan family regarding the heir battle, so she directly ca to the major information that he might appreciate," Also, Dr. Etrinia is the one treating her"
