"Huh? Sorry?" Dr. Wen appeared to mishear what the voice ant, once again looking in the direction of the Marquess with a confused look.

"I said, Fredi is dead and I killed him," Avendial said, looking towards Dr. Wen with an intense look slowly forming on his face. As he did, those people who had been paying attention and had halted in their way to look in his direction instantly moved to continue their work, ignoring them as if they were just strangers.

All of the people there started to walk away, except for Aecilia, of course, who was seated calmly at the back.

"What? Why?" Dr. Wen felt confused, not understanding why soone of the Marquess's status would kill soone. Though, of course, looking at the expressions of the police officers as they held a plastic bag taking it out from the hospital door, he sowhat believed that it was indeed the case.

However, it wasn't long before he could inquire further, as Avendial passed beside him, moving towards the corridor, leaving him standing there in the dim light.

"How is that patient?" Avendial moved forward as Dr. Wen, seemingly confused, also followed behind, looking around and noticing how no one was paying attention to them.

He moved as he followed the Marquess, who claid to have killed Fredi and was now not providing him with any answers.

"...He is out of risk," Dr. Wen replied to the question that the Marquess asked, while his eyes road around before settling in front, matching the pace of Avendial. At the end of the corridor, they entered an ICU, opening the door of the room where the patient who had just undergone surgery was lying on a bed. "Here, he is."

Upon entering, Wen looked towards Leo, who was lying unconscious with an oxygen mask. Due to the effects of anesthesia, he seed to be in a deep sleep, though out of danger.

"I see.

Given his state, he must have needed blood too." Though not having that much trust in his luck, since it was always garbage, Avendial casually ntioned thinking that perhaps today he not only got to kill Fredi, who would have beco one of the rats among the humans connected with witch doctors, but also he got his hands on Mathew, who would have awakened a skill called Spartan Roar, a support-type ability.

Additionally, he also learned about Etrinia, whom he could not afford to lose.

It was as if today was his lucky day. He didn't know why, but sohow he felt there was definitely so anomaly here influencing his luck, considering how in his previous life, due to his luck being so poor, he always found himself on edge.

First, he lost Rivia, then beca vulnerable to the royal family, who took the chance to completely suppress him, removing all his influence that he had built over the years, plumting the Croceaus family down to dirt.

Then, after the arrival of the tower, when he thought everything would be fine, given how the Cruceaus family started to regain their hold as several loyal mbers of the family awakened, the royal family sent an assassin, Empyreal, who killed everyone.

For others, luck is not so kind of talent or ability. For most of them, it's just a hypothetical assumption where people, not knowing the reason for their gain, just give it a na. In the end, there is nothing like luck or bad luck.

But for Avendial, who was cursed with bad luck so intense that even after becoming the strongest in the tower by gathering the strongest allies, he needed to kill them with his own hands, he knew that luck existed.

He didn't need others' justification to tell him that there is nothing like luck or bad luck.

And right now, he could conclude clearly that this was more than a re coincidence that today everything was going much more smoothly than he anticipated.

Naturally, things which he manipulated himself and tried to control and given a good result, he could believe that it was done by his own talent.

But randomly finding soone on the road having an accident and after saving him, he got so many gains in a single day without needing to roam around the free city to search.

He was though not 100% sure, but right now, if he got the answer he thought might lead to a not-so-coincident, then it was possible that so variable was influencing his luck today.

"Yes, we still had stocks of AB in the hospital's blood bank," Dr. Wen not thinking much, replied, looking towards Avendial as he moved towards the patient, his hand pressing the edge of the bed before moving towards the window. But as he said those words, Avendial halted in his path.

"....AB , hmm," Avendial hearing Dr. Wen's revelation that the blood group of this man was the sa as his, glanced at him for a mont before closing his eyes as if contemplating sothing. Though, of course, his mind from inside was processing things too fast that several hypotheses were going through him.

As he had thought, this was more than a simple coincidence; Avendial got himself lucky enough to get his hands on soone who carried the sa blood group and would be grateful for saving his life, which was evident from this person's personality. Avendial could conclude at least he would appreciate the help of being saved from death.

"Leo must have been in a hurry after the news," Suddenly Dr. Wen further added, causing Avendial's mind to pull out from his thoughts as he was thinking about the variable who could influence his luck to this much extent. But hearing Dr. Wen calling this unknown man whom he saved from the accident by his na, Avendial couldn't help but narrow his gaze looking at Dr. Wen.

"Leo? Do you know him?" Avendial inquired, feeling that maybe saving Leo as per the na suggested by Dr. Wen could score him so positive points in Dr. Wen's eyes, so he could get his daughter to Avendial.

Indeed, he had already decided to have Dr. Etrinia, no matter what, of course, only if she was the sa woman whom he thought she was.

"Not personally, but I have seen him admitting his mother two days ago in this hospital." Dr. Wen wasn't much suspicious or thought about it as he inford, knowing well that most likely Avendial would have saved that man in an accident and needed to know as much information about him as possible.

So he inford from the mory he had about two days ago when this construction worker had arrived while bringing his mother for treatnt. Of course, at that ti, due to wearing normal clothes, he couldn't tell that this was the sa guy until he cleared his head and face to do the surgery.

"Mother?" Avendial hearing the information from Dr. Wen slightly with narrowed eyes glanced towards the unconscious Leo in his patient uniform with a mask on as if sothing clicked inside of Avendial's mind. A smile blood as he muttered, "Can I get reports of his mother's illness?"

"Yes, I will tell..." Dr. Wen was about to add how he would say or order so staff to bring it here but realizing that everyone was busy due to the instruction given by this man holding the position of renowned Marquess, he decided to go himself, "I will bring it myself."

City A was planned in a semi-circular layout, with sectors radiating outward from a central hub.

Sector 1, located near the core, houses the residences of major families, while Sector 18, an economic hub with the largest airport, is positioned on the outskirts.

The sectors are arranged by function, with residential and comrcial areas closer to the center and industrial sectors farther out.

This design ensures smooth transportation between sectors, with a distance of about 170 miles between Sector 1 and Sector 18, reflecting the city's vastness and efficient organization.

Within Sector 1, which is set at a further expense, the town planning is relatively standard compared to other cities in different countries.

Though the terminology is different due to the Arinphiam Empire's unique system, these are small pieces of land encompassing an area of 50,000 miles, filled with skyscrapers, modern highways, hotels, hospitals, and all the facilities one could imagine—all part of the ho of major families.

Among such families, the mansion belonging to the Diego family stands out. They are one of the major competitors and influential families in most of the businesses in City A.

Inside one of the cars racing down the highway towards the mansion, the lane is completely empty, with the passing vehicles appearing no less than luxurious, showcasing the living standards of the people here.

As the vehicle drifts down the highway, it takes a turn and arrives at an extravagant architectural masterpiece identified as a mansion, guarded by several ard guards. The design is comparably modern.

"Show your identity," one of the guards states as he stops the black sedan. As the door slowly slides down, a woman is revealed, wearing glasses and a lab coat over a floral skirt that appropriately covers her. She glances at the guard.

"It's Dr. Etrinia from City A's City Hospital," the woman replies in a smooth yet impassive voice. The guard nods before opening the door, allowing her to enter the premises.
