Yun Jinnian finished speaking and glanced at Granny Jin, then thought for a mont and added, "Hei, Henuan, you two have more strength, co hold Xinmo’s wrist tightly!"
She then turned to Granny Jin, "You are old, let these two maids do it instead!"
Granny Jin opened her mouth.
She couldn’t possibly say that the goal was for the grip to be weak, allowing Xu Xinmo to scratch Yun Jinnian and get so of Yun Jinnian’s blood!
Hei and Henuan imdiately stepped forward.
Granny Jin had no choice but to stand up and watched as Hei and Henuan, like two strongn, restrained Xu Xinmo so forcefully she couldn’t move.
Yun Jinnian slowly opened the dical kit and took out a damp cloth to carefully wipe her hands.
Granny Jin looked at the dical kit.
On the top layer was a jade box, inside it were stacks of snow-white cloths, and in one compartnt were silver needles and a set of thin, sharp surgical knives, neatly organized.
Even though Granny Jin didn’t understand much, she could see that this set of knives was quite valuable.
And below the box, there should be various ergency dicines. Although she didn’t know what they were, they were items Yun Jinnian always brought when visiting patients, unlikely to be ordinary goods!
Yun Jinnian paid no heed to Granny Jin’s thoughts, gently raised her hand to feel Xu Xinmo’s pulse.

Taking the cloth to wipe her hands.
"Hei, Henuan, you may let go now!"

As soon as Hei and Henuan released their grip, Xu Xinmo began to struggle again, but her wrist was bruised.
Granny Jin and Mrs. Hu felt a pang of heartache.
"You two have too much strength, see you’ve bruised Xinmo’s wrist!"

She turned towards the bed where Xu Xinmo lay, muttering a few words, then pointed a finger at her forehead. Xu Xinmo stopped struggling, slowly opened her eyes and asked, "Granny, did it work?"
Granny Jin shook her head.
Xu Xinmo was deeply disappointed, then felt intense pain in her wrist. She lifted it to see, "Why is it so bruised?"
"I was supposed to restrain you, but your good cousin said my grip wasn’t strong enough and asked her two maids to do it!" Granny Jin said, filled with fury.
Xu Xinmo was also overwheld with anger, "I knew she was up to no good, today she deliberately had her maids bully !"
All that friendliness was just an act for others.
Yun Jinnian is about to co of age, and once she does, marriage talks will begin. No wonder she takes the second house’s concubine-born children out, she’s trying to use her half-siblings to build a good reputation.
"Such clever scheming!" Xu Xinmo said angrily.
Granny Jin also felt that Yun Jinnian must be planning sothing, "Don’t worry, if it doesn’t work this ti, we’ll co up with sothing else. I heard that a man entered Niannian Garden last night and left just before dawn!"
Xu Xinmo exclaid, "Really?"

Xu Xinmo was ecstatic, "Did you see who it was?"
If she finds out who it was, she’ll make sure Yun Jinnian is notorious. Forget about marrying a good man, she wouldn’t even be able to stay in the Capital City!
